In recent years, many less-developed countries (LDCs) have been exploring new opportunities provided by drones, such as the capability to deliver items with minimal infrastructure, fast speed, and relatively low cost, especially for high value-added products such as lifesaving medical products and vaccines. This dissertation optimizes the delivery network and operations for routine childhood vaccines in LDCs. It analyzes two important problems using mathematical programming, with an application in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu. JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 19, 2021) – ETSU Health is returning to the East Tennessee State University Millennium Center for community COVID-19 vaccine clinics in November and December. The clinics will offer both primary doses and booster doses of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. They are free and open to the public.


The clinics will be:



  • Sunday, Nov. 21, 1-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 23, 3-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.- noon

JOHNSON CITY – (Nov. 19, 2021) East Tennessee State University is one of just four public four-year colleges in the state that saw an increase in new students for the fall 2021 semester. While overall enrollment at ETSU is down approximately 3% from last fall, the number of new students choosing ETSU went up by 13 percent, President Brian Noland reported today to members of the Board of Trustees during their quarterly meeting in the D.P. Culp Student Center.

Noland said the overall enrollment decrease mirrors national trends and is likely due to the difficulties students in last year’s freshmen …

Purpose. This study aims to describe the development of hospitality research in terms of research methods and data sources used in the 2010s.

Design/methodology/approach. Content analyses of the research methods and data sources used in original hospitality research published in the 2010s in the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly (CQ), International Journal of Hospitality Management (IJHM), International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management (IJCHM), Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research (JHTR) and International Hospitality Review (IHR) were conducted. US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) require that in an acquisition, the purchaser must record a premium when the purchase price exceeds the fair value of the target’s identifiable net assets (both tangible and intangible). This premium lives on the balance sheet as an intangible asset called goodwill. Goodwill has an indefinite life, but over time it may become impaired due to overpayment of the original acquisition, unrealized synergies, changes in the business, legal issues, etc., and as a result, require a write-down. This study aimed at assessing the efficiency of the partial Credit Model, in Calibration of polytomous items for the purposes of the study, an achievement test in chemistry for the second secondary class was prepared. The test consisted of 20 polytomous items which differed in the number of steps in each item. The test was administered to a sample of 771 male and female students. This research attempts to study the relationship between leadership style and employees resistance ‎to change at industrial firms in Jordan. A simple of (191) employees is selected from (3) of the largest ‎industrial firms.‎ Results show an overall “above – average” degree of resistance to change, the same degree of ‎resistance under associated with democratic leadership style.‎ Results, also, show that authoritarian leadership style is positively associated with resistance to ‎change (organizational, subjective, economic, and culture dimension), and democratic leadership ‎style is negatively correlated with organizational dimension of resistance only (and not other ‎dimension). Banker and Haghes (1994) demonstrated the economic sufficiency of normal activity - based ‎unit cost for optimal pricing decisions. This paper provides an agency paralle to their analysis by ‎examining how, in the presence of capacity cost, the desirable tradeoff between risk- sharing ‎and incentives can be achieved through modification of the performance measures on which ‎the contract is based. The goal of this paper is to investigate the money demand function in Jordan by employing the ‎cointegration analysis proposed by Engle and Granger, and extended by Johansen. By using ‎Johansen procedure the relative importance of each variable explaining the money demand ‎function is identified.‎ Generally it was found that all suggested variables are nonstationary.
