Diversity In Recruitment: The Role Of Realistic Website Job Previews For Racial And Ethnic Minority Applicants, Jennifer Saucedo

Prior research has examined the effects of diversity-related recruitment on racial and ethnic minority applicants, but less research has focused on how objective and realistic information about diversity influences applicant outcomes. Drawing from previous literature on realistic job previews (RJPs) and social identity theory (SIT), the current study investigates how recruitment material with objective racial demographic information (i.e., percentage of racial minorities employed) and leader diversity testimonials (i.e., positive or realistic) on diversity recruitment webpages affect racial and ethnic minority applicant outcomes (i.e., organizational attraction, sense of fit, and organizational trust) using a 3x2 between-person experimental design. Asthma is a chronic condition whose symptoms are managed/prevented using medication and interventions. The overarching objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of patients' demographics on case management enrollment and healthcare utilization, as well as to develop machine learning models to predict high-cost patients.

To accomplish these goals, the Man-Whiteness test, the chi-squares test, logistic regression and odds ratios, and machine learning models were implemented. The average cost of the non-enrolled CM group was significantly higher than the enrolled group (p-value .0001). From June of 1943 to February of 1944, the 1210th Special Training Unit at Fort Ontario in Oswego, New York taught pre-basic military training to thousands of illiterate, slow learning, and non-English-speaking soldiers in the United States Army. The Inflation Reduction Act of2022 (the "Act"), signed by President Biden on 8/16/2022, contained an array of tax provisions that should be considered in tax planning for clients.

The Act is a budget reconciliation bill whose origins can be traced back to the American Rescue Plan Act of2021, as well as the American Jobs Plan (AJP) and the American Families Plan (AFP). Each plan contained aspects of tax incentives for green energy construction, conservation, and infrastructure improvements, as well as for healthcare benefits. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed consumer behavior substantially. In this study, we explore the drivers of consumer mobility in several metropolitan areas in the United States under the perceived risks of COVID-19. We capture multiple dimensions of perceived risk using local and national cases and death counts of COVID-19, along with real-time Google Trends data for personal protective equipment (PPE). While Google Trends data are popular inputs in many studies, the risk of multicollinearity escalates with the addition of more relevant terms. The introduction of derivatives on Bitcoin enables investors to hedge risk exposures in cryptocurrencies. Because of volatility swings and jumps in cryptocurrency prices, the traditional variance-based approach to obtain hedge ratios may not be suitable for hedgers. The Sheep GEMS project is a national, multi-breed project that is focused on evaluating different sheep breeds and their longevity in different climates. As a participant, we collect/send raw data that is compiled. Our preliminary data from the 2022 (Year 1) and 2023 (Year 2) lambing season has been included. Long-Term Care (LTCs) facilities and nursing homes have been an essential part of the healthcare industry to meet the needs of older adults. However, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs/ EHR within LTC facilities and nursing homes have lagged more than in other healthcare sectors. This research analyzed the impact of implementing EMR/EHR and Computerized Decision Support Systems within LTC facilities and nursing homes. In nursing homes and LTC facilities where EMR/EHR has been implemented, patient outcomes improved by reduced pressure ulcers and increased identification of patients at risk for malnutrition and falls. Closed-system transfer devices (CSTDs) are used during the preparation of hazardous drugs (HDs) as a mechanism to reduce the transfer of drugs or vapors into the environment. When evaluating these systems, pharmacists should consider which drugs in the pharmacy would benefit the safety of health care workers and patients using the systems. Hospital readmissions have contributed significantly to rising healthcare costs in the United States. To curb rising costs, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services introduced the Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program (HRRP), a penalty-based program designed to decrease healthcare costs. This research aims to determine if the HRRP has successfully reduced healthcare costs and increased quality outcomes associated with total knee arthroplasty (TKA) or total hip arthroplasty (THA) as defined by a reduction in readmission rates, postoperative complications, and overall costs.
