Despite growing awareness of health disparities and social exclusion, there remains a significant gap in understanding how devaluation affects both individual well-being and broader community cohesion. Historically, mental health services have been dominated by clinical settings, such as hospitals and private practices, yet this approach has limitations in reaching underserved populations. Developing nations like Bangladesh are particularly vulnerable to poultry diseases, notably Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. Adopting biosecurity approaches that assist farms in disease control and prevention can decrease the industry-wide dissemination of infectious diseases. In light of these factors, this study was carried out to investigate the implementation of biosecurity practices on layer farms in Bangladesh. Using a stratified random sample method, a total of 315 layer farms from fourteen upazilas (sub-districts) in seven districts were surveyed using a semi-structured interview schedule. This study investigated the factors influencing consumers' switching intentions to biodegradable plastic products. Applying a modified Motivation-Opportunity-Ability (MOA) framework, we analyzed the impact of factors such as environmental concern, novelty seeking, negative attitude, perceived consumer effectiveness, green consumer availability, and environmental knowledge on switching intention, while also examining the moderating effect of perceived greenwashing. Results showed that environmental concern, perceived consumer effectiveness, and negative attitude from the motivation dimension, and environmental knowledge from the ability dimension, had significant effects on switching intentions. Consumers often make decisions on behalf of the self and others, such as family, friends, or colleagues, when choosing products to jointly consume. Postulating that power—a central element of social dynamics—shapes reliance on internal versus external information, the current research explores its effect on joint consumption choices. Across three studies, I find that low-power individuals balance self and others’ preferences, whereas high-power individuals are likely to highlight their preferences (H1). Charitable organizations use donated funds for program costs to support the cause and overhead costs to cover the charity's general operation and fundraising. This research investigates the influence of preannouncement of donation expenditure on attitudes toward charity and overhead aversion (i.e., negative response to overhead). Preannouncement of donation expenditure involves the disclosure of how donor contributions will be allocated to the program and overhead costs. The results of two empirical studies show that preannouncement positively influences attitudes toward charity and mitigates overhead aversion. Investors should consider Sharpe ratios and correlations together when adding a new fund to their existing portfolio. The ex-ante information ratio (also known as the appraisal ratio) is effective in informing this decision. However, a maximum Sharpe ratio calculation is equally effective in this decision while providing the additional benefit of producing optimal portfolio weights for the combined portfolio. In this paper, we demonstrate how to compute these measures to help facilitate portfolio construction.

This research develops a predictive model to forecast college student dropout rates using RapidMiner™, with the goal of identifying at-risk students early to facilitate timely interventions. Using a Kaggle dataset that includes 4,424 student records and 36 academic, demographic, and socioeconomic features, the study applies machine learning techniques to classify students as either graduates, dropouts, or currently enrolled. The model reveals critical factors influencing dropout rates, such as tuition fees, scholarship status, and second-semester grades. This study uses the Oracle SQL certification exam questions to explore the design of automatic classifiers for exam questions containing code snippets. SQL’s question classification assigns a class label in the exam topics to a question. This study aims to determine how each element of intellectual capital affects earnings management based on the business life cycle. The data used for this study come from manufacturing companies listed on the IDX from 2020 to 2023. Overall, the research sample consists of 121 companies. The criteria for classifying a company's life cycle are based on the company's average sales growth. This study uses panel data regression analysis through the EViews 12 application.
