The paper discusses a community project related to local food production by a group of women in an idle peri-urban landscape. Instead of positioning women solely as homemakers within the house, this project views them as active participants of a peri- urban community. Rooted in 19th-century industrial logic, the structure of schooling, its physical design, time constraints, and assessment methods, has remained largely static despite seismic cultural and technological shifts. In this dissertation, I present three independent essays that contribute to the literature on stablecoins, the run-on stablecoin (Terra), and the information narrative surrounding the run. The first essay offers a comprehensive overview of the stablecoin ecosystem, the structural frictions that challenge peg maintenance, and the evolving regulatory landscape governing stablecoin issuance and use. In the second essay, I investigate the collapse of the TerraUSD (UST) algorithmic stablecoin and provide evidence that the collapse mimicked a run by demonstrating liquidity shortages on centralized exchanges. The consumer acceptance of genetically modified (GM) foods varies widely based on personal values and social context. This study investigates how cultural worldviews—measured through the Individualism–Communitarianism and Hierarchical–Egalitarianism dimensions—affect willingness to pay (WTP) for food labeling attributes related to GM content. We surveyed 932 U.S. primary grocery shoppers and conducted a discrete choice experiment (DCE) with poultry product options. Using a Mixed Logit model and supplemental cognitive data from Query Theory, we find that rural individualists are more accepting of GM-labeled products. At the same time, urban communitarians show a stronger preference for non-GM labels. These results offer insight into …

This article examines cyberattacks on government-managed systems from the perspective of social epistemology. The development of information technology, particularly the internet, has changed the way governments operate and interact with the public. This study analyzes the impact of transfer funds (General Allocation Fund and Special Allocation Fund) and Local Revenue on Capital Expenditure in Regency / City of West Java Province during the period 2018 2022, as well as testing the existence of the flypaper effect phenomenon. Using secondary data from the Local Government Financial Statements and BPK Audit Reports of 18 Regencies and 9 Cities in West Java, this study uses panel data regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM). In today’s highly competitive and rapidly evolving business environment, organizations must continuously adapt to technological advancements and market volatility. This study examines how adaptive leadership influences sustainable manufacturing through employee engagement, with employee wellbeing as a mediator and mindfulness as a moderator. Using data from 1,388 U.S. manufacturers and PLS-SEM analysis, the research confirms that adaptive leadership positively impacts sustainable manufacturing through engaged employees and enhanced wellbeing. Additionally, employee mindfulness significantly strengthens the relationship between adaptive leadership and engagement. These findings highlight the importance of leadership styles that foster employee participation and mental wellbeing in achieving long-term manufacturing sustainability. The …

As organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to optimize their supply chain operations, they face a growing set of ethical challenges that demand careful consideration. This study explores the key ethical dilemmas and potential solutions in implementing AI within the supply chain context, drawing insights from in-depth interviews with a diverse group of experts. The thematic analysis of the interview data revealed four primary ethical dilemmas: algorithmic bias and discrimination, lack of transparency and explainability, privacy and data ethics issues, and the socioeconomic impacts of AI-driven automation. The increasing frequency of fraud cases in the industrial sector, including textiles, reflects the insufficient implementation of internal controls, whistleblowing mechanisms, and ethical organizational culture. Internal actors both individuals and groups are often responsible, underscoring the need for a systematic approach to prevention. This study examines the influence of internal control systems, whistleblowing systems, and organizational culture on fraud prevention at PT Triana Harvestindo Nusantara. Using a quantitative, causally associative method, data were gathered from 200 employees through structured questionnaires and analyzed via SPSS version 25. This study analyzes the crisis communication strategy employed by PT ANTAM Tbk in response to the spread of misinformation concerning allegations of gold-related corruption in 2025. The crisis was sparked by a social media post suggesting that ANTAM's gold products were counterfeit, although the actual issue involved unauthorized use of the brand by former employees. This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and capital structure on firm value in the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. ESG performance is measured using individual and combined scores from LSEG Datastream (Refinitiv). Capital structure is proxied by the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), while firm value is measured using the Tobin’s Q ratio. Based on industry use cases, we identify six distinct types of digital transformation (DT), each grounded in a specific concept or enabling technology. These DT types can be implemented individually or combined to drive transformation initiatives. While deploying a single DT type often focuses on improving operational efficiency or streamlining existing workflows, initiatives that combine multiple DT types tend to pursue more ambitious goals, such as the creation of new products, services, or business models. Although prior research has explored social media’s impact on team creativity and knowledge management, its influence on individual creative performance remains understudied. Drawing on Transactive Memory Systems (TMS) theory, this research investigates how social media deep structure use affects individual creative performance through TMS dimensions: specialization, credibility, and coordination. We surveyed 362 U.S. active social media users, focusing on Facebook usage, and tested the hypothesized relationships using structural equation modeling. Findings reveal that social media deep structure use significantly influences TMS dimensions, which enhance creative performance through individual creative efficacy. This study provides a comprehensive assessment and synthesis of the literature on short-selling. It performs a lexicometric analysis, providing a quantitative review of 1093 peer-reviewed journal articles to identify and illustrate the main themes in short-selling research. Almost half the published literature on short-selling is thematically clustered around portfolio management techniques. Other key themes involve short-selling as it relates to risk management, strategic management, and market irregularities. This study aims to analyze the effect of underwriter’s reputation and firm age on IPO pricing decision among companies that went public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021 to 2024. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships between variables. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is one of the largest companies in the world. It is responsible for generating millions of dollars through various sporting events, including the College World Series, the College Football Playoffs, and March Madness. However, this industry is prone to high stress levels, workaholism, and poor work-life balance among the coaches employed by NCAA institutions.
