On March 16, 2016, we opened the doors of the Jon M. Huntsman Hall on the campus of Utah State University. Utah Governor Gary Herbert, members of the Huntsman family, dignitaries from the business and government communities, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends joined Utah State University President Stan Albrecht and Huntsman School Dean Douglas Anderson in a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. “This day is a significant step in our journey to create a world-class business education program,” stated Dean Anderson. “There is not a better building on any campus in the country. The Sawyer Walker Scholarship is for high school seniors entering college in county’s surrounding Mount Gilead to include Morrow County, Crawford County, and Marion County. The committee and I handed out and posted flyers in our surrounding areas. We also created a Facebook page in Sawyer Walker's memory portraying the Scholarship and events. We used the site to invite friends and family and to share the event. This is how we let people know when the event was, what was needed, and provided updates. In September 2006 the European Council decided to repeal Regulation 4056/86 with effect from October 2008. The primary issue addressed in this study is the impact of repeal of block exemption in Europe on two major Europe-based trades – the United States/North Europe trade and the Far East/North Europe trade. This paper measures empirically the economic impact of the repeal of conference on competition of EU liner shipping. Adam Smith’s theory of joint products is adopted to examine the impact of the repeal after 2009. This paper considers head haul and backhaul container shipments as joint products. This paper evaluates competition location decisions in a fuzzy environment and assesses international transport logistics service systems using a fuzzy model. First, the study introduces the concepts of fuzzy set theory. Second, a stepby-step fuzzy algorithm, including ten systematic procedures, is effectively represented and processed to assure convincing and effective decision making. Third, three major competitive locations in the Pacific Asia region are presented as examples to analyze the rank order and competitive scenario of international transport logistics service systems. In the keen competitive port market, service effectiveness has become a key to customer satisfaction and loyalty for port operators in future business endevors. The main purpose of this article was to apply the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model to evaluate key factors influencing service effectiveness for Keelung Port in Taiwan. Based on the port literature and experts’ opinions, a hierarchical structure with 5 assessment aspects and 15 assessment criteria was first constructed. A fuzzy AHP model was then proposed. Kinmen is suited as an important tactical location for Taiwan, despite being a small island with scarce resources. A number of soldiers defend Kinmen for essential military reasons. Therefore, logistics in Kinmen are very important, especially with regard to the military. Generally, necessary goods and materials for Kinmen are transported from Taiwan by ship or air. However, inclement weather in Kinmen often causes delays and difficulties in transportation. This is a serious problem for Kinmen military logistics. Human Factors and Applied Psychology Student Conference

Many companies train employees on writing emails in seminar-style training sessions. However, in-person, seminar-style trainings are costly. This study aims to create a training program, rooted in the science of training to address these needs. We examine the mechanisms of action by which the training influences performance and intent to transfer. To do this, we call upon several models of training effectiveness (see Alliger, Tannenbaum, Bennett, & Traver, 1997; Baldwin & Ford, 1988; and Kirkpatrick, 1959). Taken together, these models suggest that individual differences will predict affective reactions, which will lead to utility reactions, ultimately leading to learning. We aim …
