An experiential learning model known as INTEX (INTegrative EXercise) was implemented by the Information Systems Department at Brigham Young University. The purpose was to facilitate a team-based holistic learning experience in both content and application to supply a means of measuring student performance and further program development. In this paper, we explain how INTEX presents an adoptable experiential learning model, how INTEX is administered, and the extent to which INTEX fulfills each of its seven objectives based on student, alumni, and faculty feedback. There is a great emphasis on the importance of serving communities and the need to study servant leadership in recent higher education literature. Yet, academics’ community citizenship behavior has not been examined through applied research. To address these issues, our study aims at investigating the effects of two dimensions of servant leadership (behaving ethically and helping subordinates grow and succeed) on job satisfaction and community citizenship behavior. In this essay, we describe a research journey focusing on how to analyze mouse cursor movements, typing fidelity, and data from other human-computer interaction (HCI) devices to better understand the end-user online experience. We begin by defining organizational value and how it relates to other aspects that researchers use to assess academic research quality. We then describe and contrast our research journey by demonstrating key research milestones: from achieving statistical significance to achieving practical significance and, finally, to reaching relevance to practice. Choice experiments have been extensively used in many stated preference studies and disciplines. In order to give external validity to stated preferences, participants must behave the same in an experiment setting as they do in reality. The difference between a decision made in a real experiment and a hypothetical experiment is commonly attributed to "hypothetical bias." In this paper, we investigate whether virtual reality can reduce hypothetical bias in choice experiments. We conducted a set of experiments using the Food and Drug Administration's new Nutrition Facts Label for yogurts. Sustainability reports are voluntary in nature and are used by companies to report on their sustainability activities to investors and other stakeholders. Building on prior studies analyzing institutional logics within and among organizations, I first investigate large nonprofit organizations in Boston, Massachusetts, to determine the logics held by these organizations, how the logics drive organizational behavior when faced with payments-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOTs), and the strategies they implement as they recompose their position in the field. There is a high failure rate of continuous improvement (CI) initiatives in the beverage industry. Continuous improvement initiatives could help beverage manufacturing managers improve product quality, efficiency, and overall performance. Grounded in the transformational leadership theory, the purpose of this quantitative correlational study was to examine the relationship between idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and CI. Nigerian beverage industry managers (N = 160) who participated in the study completed the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire Form 5X-Short, and the Plan, Do, Check, and Act (PDCA) cycle. The results of the multiple linear regression were statistically significant, F(2, 157) = 16.428, p < 0.001, R2 = 0.173. Idealized influence (ß = 0.242, p = 0.000) and intellectual stimulation (ß = 0.278, p = 0.000) were both significant predictors. A key recommendation is for beverage manufacturing managers to promote their employees' creativity, rational thinking, and critical problem-solving skills. The implications for positive social change include the potential to increase the opportunity for the growth and sustainability of the beverage industry.
