The study aimed to determine the customer complaints about hotel restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was conducted in restaurants of 50 5-Star Hotels in Antalya, Turkey's most visited tourist destination. The authors consider that the findings of this study are important for comparing with the studies in current literature. Among the TripAdvisor reviews written in English between December 2019 and March 2021 on hotel restaurants, 300 complaints were detected. Does Political Orientation Affect The Evaluation Of Artificial Intelligence?, Haejoo Han, Sujin Park, Kyoungmi Lee

In this study, we propose that political orientation is related to the evaluation of artificial intelligence. Using AI-based medical and legal service providers, we find that the more politically conservative consumers are, the more likely they are to have a lower evaluation of AI-based professional services. Furthermore, we find that the relationship between political conservatism and the evaluation of AI-based services is driven by the extent of the perceived threat that AI poses to human uniqueness. Other potential underlying factors such as the heightened need for control, gender, socioeconomic status, or technology familiarity do not explain this effect.

Combining theories of the goal-derived product evaluation and holistic versus analytic thinking style, the authors investigate the effects of adding novel attributes on new product evaluation. While one may predict that adding novel attributes may be appealing to consumers as it provides new benefits, the authors propose that, in some cases, it may not. The current research investigates consumers’ view of new attribute addition depends on the novel attribute’s goal congruence with the consumption goals of the base product, which may be hedonic or utilitarian in nature. In an online study of purchase intent based on Chinese menu inspection, explicitly noticing grammatical errors by hotspot click was more detrimental to judgments of quality than implicit detection by error estimation. When they estimated errors in a survey question (ordinal measure), participants who reported many (more than nine) errors had lower purchase intent and ratings of quality compared to those with few (about six) or no errors. However, with the more novel, continuous measure based on hotspot detection, participant purchase intent did not decrease as the number of errors noticed increased. The purpose of this project is to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of implementing a UAV/drone technology within agricultural appraisals. This project is categorized into four categories; introduction, literature review, methodology, and conclusions. The methodology portion of the project is a capital budget analysis measuring the effectiveness of UAVs within the appraisal department. The capital budget will be further developed by conducting a Present Value (NPV) analysis. The NPV analysis consists of a five-year NPV analysis measuring changes in productivity and total revenue caused by UAV technology.

The purpose of this paper is to implement the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) methodology for an Association of the Farm Credit System (FCS). CECL was released in 2016 by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and is expected to be implemented by all banks and lending institutions starting Jan. 1, 2023. CECL changes the way lenders account for Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses (ALLL) by allocating a small amount of allowance for loan loss for each loan at origination. It is widely known in other micro fields such as organizational behavior and psychology that motivation is an important predictor of behavior. Yet the alliance and Upper Echelons literature have largely overlooked this important antecedent. A deeper understanding of a CEO’s motivations can illuminate why a firm may engage in higher levels of alliance activity while another firm may not. In this study, we explore how CEO needs—a manifestation of internal motivation—may impact alliance behavior. The excise tax on tobacco products in the Philippines has been historically low making the product very accessible even for the youth. In 2012, a Sin Tax Reform Law was passed which increased the excise tax on tobacco products by almost five times its previous value. This price increase is projected to reduce alchohol and tobacco products consumption for all demographic classifications, especially the youth. This study estimated the price elasticity of cigarette demand of the Filipino youth using regression analyses on the pooled Global Youth Tobacco Survey conducted in the Philippines for the years 2004 and 2015.
