Since the 1980s, numerous transformations in higher education were experienced in Latin America, and especially in Chile, a country that allowed private entities to enter the education systems and develop a market. The opportunity triggered an increase of coverage and competition to capture and retain students, followed by marketing strategies delivering student satisfaction and pursuing student loyalty. Moreover, since 2012, higher education institutions in Chile have been allowed to adopt a policy of gratuity, giving families the co-responsibility of dealing with the cost of education. ABSTRACT The study aimed at identifying the types of e-databases available, perceptions towards the ease and extent of use, and usefulness of the adopted e-databases and identify the challenges associated with the use of adopted e-databases by the postgraduate students in the selected universities, in North- central, Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey design where set of questionnaires were used to collect data from 1726 postgraduate students across five universities in North-central, Nigeria. The aim of study is to examine the impact of knowledge sharing tools (i.e., technology and organization rewards) on knowledge transfer in the Higher Education Institutions (HEIS) of Sindh, Pakistan. The study utilized quantitative method. The population of the study was the employees who are working in HEIs of Sindh Province. The cluster random sampling technique was implemented to collect primary data from 750 respondents. The survey method was used in questionnaire to collect the data from employees of HEIs. During 2020-21 two business faculty from different institutions together with OER librarians, undergraduate students, and graduate assistants conspired to create a faculty-access-only test bank aligned to senior undergraduate-level open textbook, Strategic Management (2020) and AACSB Standards. Test bank development followed instructional and ethical practices for non-disposable assignments including faculty development of assignments, student ownership of student work, student “opt in” to go public, choice of no or some student attribution, financial incentives for various project participants, project MOUs, professional copyediting, and public release to vetted requestors. Recently, longtime Gatton College of Pharmacy benefactors David and Betty Jo Pesterfield signed a memorandum of understanding to create the Pharmacy Plus Community Pharmacy Scholarship and Travel Endowment. The fund was created by Pharmacy Plus to provide support for deserving Gatton student pharmacists with either scholarship funds or travel assistance to Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) and/or National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) meetings. Also in attendance at the signing ceremony were local pharmacists, and Gatton supporters, Dr. Alan and Mary Lynn Corley and Dr. Eddie and Dot Rowe.
