To date, an overwhelming number of research findings on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) conduct and financial performance remains inconclusive. Furthermore, research has not identified nor explained the “underlying mechanisms” behind this relationship. To encourage future research, we discuss the mechanisms by identifying the first-order, mediating, and moderating variables. We synthesize recent studies for emerging themes and implications; argue for a process and integrated approach for modelling causality between ESG conduct and financial performance variables; and suggest methods to analyze the models. JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 15, 2022) – An East Tennessee State University professor of physical therapy recently led a multidisciplinary effort to update the clinical practice guidelines for the field of vestibular rehabilitation, published in the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy.

Dr. Courtney Hall says these guidelines are updated every five years as new research and scientific evidence emerge in the treatment of vestibular disorders, or inner ear balance problems that lead to dizziness.

SCUBA diving fatalities are often related to cardiac events triggered by stress linked to equipment. The purpose of this investigation was to examine the effects of a SCUBA regulator on cardiorespiratory exercise at a submaximal workload. Ten participants (mean = 21.5 yrs; s.d. = 1.16) completed two submaximal exercise tests at 1 ATA; one while breathing normally and a second while breathing directly from a demand valve SCUBA regulator. Total time to test completion (TOT), heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP), rating of perceived exertion (RPE), and arterial oxygen levels were all assessed. This study examined how the entrepreneurial opportunity formation process among different ethnic groups was influenced by their origins and the cultural values accustomed to them. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data was collected from 20 participants (five each from four different ethnic groups) using an in-depth interview technique. The study found that the interactions between an immigrant's home and host environments can take different forms (i.e., enablers and threats) which will influence their career choices in diverse ways. Research into the effects of promotion decisions has primarily focused on the outcomes for promoted individuals without much concern about employees who were denied a promotion. Additionally, there has been a lack of research about the factors which lead promoted individuals to turnover within the public sector when looking at actual turnover. The present study looked at what effect promotion decisions have on employees regarding their turnover behavior by looking at a longitudinal governmental dataset. This research note analyzes the relationship between new trends in food consumption and food tourism. From a descriptive approach, it reveals the meaningful connection between producers and consumers. Food tourism stakeholders should consider applying segmentation techniques to personalize its offer and create unique food experiences. Further research is required, especially concerning the Gen Z lifestyles and its impact on the future of food tourism.
