Division III college athletes have been largely ignored in the growing literature involving college sport. Given that the majority of college athletes that participate in high profile sports are athletes of color, there is a need to explore the experiences of this population, specifically at the Division III level. Informed by the Excellence Beyond Athletics (EBA) framework, which empowers students of color, especially Black male athletes, the purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of Black male athletes at two rural Division III institutions. The professional literature contains little focused specifically on NCAA DIII. NCAA Goals data provide an overview of common characteristics and challenges of DIII student-athletes. However, the large number and variety of DIII member institutions merit DIII athletic programs assessing the needs and well-being challenges of its particular student-athletes and to create and tailor programs and interventions to support student-athlete well-being. A needs assessment of student-athlete well-being issues was carried out at an institution with a large DIII program. There is abundant literature on a plethora of topics associated with intercollegiate athletics. Yet, when one begins to dig deeply into the previous literature, it becomes apparent that most of the attention of this work has focused on Division I (DI) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association [NCAA]. To that end, while the NCAA Division III (DIII) level contains a greater number of institutions and more athletes than either of the other divisions of play, this group has largely been ignored throughout the previous literature (NCAA, 2021a; Williams, et al, 2020). Possible factors that play a role in restoring a flow regime that supports a healthy environment were identified for Wadi Zomar, Palestine. The hydrograph shows that threshold discharges for bed drying are less than 0.14 m3/s, bar formation is less than 0.4 ms/s and floodplain inundation events are over 3 m3/s. The HEC-RAS model suggests a continuous discharge throughout the year that maintains the base flow in the range of 0.5 m3/s. The model suggests that the restoration process is controlled by two main factors: role of sufficient flow and flood inundation frequency.

The olive leaf spot disease caused by the fungus Spilocaea oleagina(Cast.) Hughes (syn. Cycloconium oleagina) is one of the most destructive diseases on olive trees causing losses that may reach 20% of the yield. The disease is controlled by the application of chemical fungicides which is not always feasible in providing proper protection against the pathogen. In this work we report the efficacy of Pseudomonas fluorescencisolate ORS3 and Bascillus atrophaeusisolate BATin controlling the disease under field conditions. Condensation reaction of naphthalene -2-Sulfonylhydrazide, as starting material with 2,5-dimethoxy benzaldehydewas used to produce (E)-N’-(2,5-dimethoxybenzalidene) naphthalene-2-sulfonohydrazide. The Schiff base product was isolated, purified and then spectrally characterized via UV-Vis, GC/MS, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR analysis, where strong evidences confirmed the formation of the desired product. Antimicrobial activity of Schiff base product was evaluated in vitro against several types of bacteria such as: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae and MRSA by Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) test using tetracycline (TE) as a standard antibiotic. هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة تحقق الدور المستقبلي للطلبة المعلمين بالجامعات الفلسطينية المعتمد على توظيف المستحدثات التكنولوجية المعاصرة من وجهة نظرهم، وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في هذه الدراسة، حيث استخدم من خلاله استبانة تحتوى على (32) فقرةً بحسب تدريج خماسي، تم تطبيقها على عينة عشوائية مكونة من (794) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة الجامعات الفلسطينية، واستعان الباحث بالرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) في اجراء التحليلات الاحصائية اللازمة للدراسة. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تحقق الدور المستقبلي للطلبة المعلمين بالجامعات الفلسطينية المعتمد على توظيف المستحدثات التكنولوجية المعاصرة من وجهة نظر الطلبة (3.52)، وبنسبة مئوية (70.3%) بدرجة كبيرة. كشفت النتائج عن …

The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between the application of the principles of sustainable leadership and the achievement of technical innovation in Palestinian pharmaceutical companies. The analytical descriptive approach was used, and the research population consisted of (155) supervisors working in (5) companies. The researchers used the census sampling method and retrieved (133) responses with a (85.5%) response rate. The results showed that the levels of principles of sustainable leadership and that of technical innovation were medium with weight means (65.81) and (55.6) respectively. Stable phase change materials (PCMS ) of binary and ternary mixtures of organic compounds were prepared in this work to be installed in buildings for purposes of heat energy storage. The occurrence of complex potentials with real eigenvalues has implications concerning the inverse problem, i.e. the determination of a potential from its spectrum. First, any complex potential with real eigenvalues has at least one equivalent local potential. Secondly, a real spectrum does not necessarily corresponds to a local real potential. A basic ambiguity arises from the possibility the spectrum to be generated by a complex potential. The purpose of this work is to discuss several aspects of this problem.
