Despite repeated calls for research to explore the effects of the physical work environment on employees within the servicescape literature, gaps in knowledge remain. There is a need to understand the nature, influence and impact of environmental stimuli (e.g. music, colour) on employees. Extant research remains ambiguous on whether employees perceive individual stimuli within their work environment or perceive and interact with their physical work environment as a holistic experience. This study aims to explore the influence of environmental stimuli on employees within their physical work environment and the effect on their satisfaction and loyalty.

Women Realtors in residential real estate have a difficult time avoiding burnout and are commonly ineffective in achieving work life balance (WLB). This qualitative, phenomenological research study focused on understanding the issues of WLB and burnout which female Realtors faced, and best strategies in overcoming these issues. There were four main research questions and a total of 12 interview questions which were used as a method to collect data for research purposes. Media attention to the world’s growing plastic crisis exploded in 2018, almost certainly increasing social exposures for companies heavily involved in the material’s manufacture or use. Relying on arguments from media agenda setting theory (Brown & Deegan, 1998), we explore how a sample of large U.S. plastic manufacturers and users responded to the crisis in their standalone CSR reports, with particular emphasis on their use of circular economy terminology to frame that response. This paper examines whether the dynamic co-movements between stock-bond futures markets may be driven by domestic and international macroeconomic factors. The empirical analysis also investigates whether economic uncertainty and geopolitical risks have an impact on the dynamic conditional correlations of bond and equity futures markets. The results pointed to significance of domestic inflation and industrial production, while the 3M USD Libor and 3M Euribor surfaced as determinants of the dynamic equity-bond futures correlations. This doctoral research project examines the impact of organizational culture on post-merger integration in the travel and travel services industry for acquisitions valued under $5B. The study uses a mixed-method research approach to determine whether culture plays a critical role in the success or failure of M&A deals. The research focuses on 50 M&A transactions that occurred between three and five years ago at the time of the study. This study examines how individuals come to occupy communication network positions and the effect of selection processes on group performance. Drawing on the Carnegie perspective and research on communication networks, we compare the performance of groups whose members receive their choice of who occupies which network position to the performance of groups whose members do not receive their choice. This review examines the perceived employability of skilled migrants (SMs) through an analysis of 88 management and organisational research articles published over 2009-2019 period. We find the extant literature characterised by context-specific studies featuring considerable variety in terms of levels of analysis, theory, and content. Using the notion of perceived employability, key themes in the literature are identified and presented in an integrative framework. : It is widely documented that emotions play an important role in product marketing and branding. The current study explores the role that a human brand association can play in eliciting emotional responses and attachments from consumers that drive their subsequent behaviour. The human-centred Jordan Brand was examined because it uses the likeness/image of Michael Jordan. Typical blackberries (Rubus subgenus Rubus) have perennial crowns and roots and biennial canes. The first-year canes (primocanes) are usually vegetative, while second-year canes (floricanes) produce fruit. Primocane-fruiting blackberries produce fruit on first-year canes and are desirable to growers because they potentially allow for a longer harvest season in temperate regions and enable production in tropical areas where no natural chill hours are accumulated. The development of molecular markers for desirable traits can potentially increase efficiency in blackberry breeding. Automated Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) provides position and state information about aircraft and is becoming an essential component in the global air traffic management system. ADS-B transponders broadcast this key information on a common frequency to both other aircraft and to secondary surveillance radar systems located at ground stations. Both the aircraft transponders and the ground stations work together to assist in managing the commercial airspace. Since the aircraft transponders all broadcast on the same frequency and are in close proximity there is an apparent risk of interference and the garbling of the communications needed to manage the airspace.

Purpose: This research's main objective is to investigate the relationship between consumption expenditure and consumer confidence in the USA and to study their effects on US economic revivalism during and after the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) shock. Design/methodology/approach: The authors use Michigan's monthly Consumer Sentiment Index and its five components from January 1978 to April 2020. สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อแรงจูงใจและแนวทางการส่งเสริมการใช้งานเทคโนโลยีเครื่องมือช่วยเหลือสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย เนื่องจากประเทศไทยกำลังก้าวเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ (Aging Society) อย่างรวดเร็ว โดยข้อมูลจากปี พ.ศ. 2548 ระบุว่าประเทศไทยมีประชากรผู้สูงอายุ (อายุ 60 ปี เป็นต้นไป) อยู่ที่ 10.4% ของประชากรทั้งหมด และคาดการณ์ว่าในปี พ.ศ. 2566 สัดส่วนนี้จะเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 20.08% แสดงให้เห็นถึงจำนวนผู้สูงอายุที่กำลังเพิ่มจำนวนมากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทำให้ทั้งกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุและกลุ่มลูกหลานมีความต้องการให้ผู้สูงอายุมีสุขภาพร่างกายที่แข็งแรง โดยการนำเทคโนโลยีและเครื่องมือต่าง ๆ มาช่วยป้องกันอุบัติเหตุและเพิ่มความปลอดภัยแก่ผู้สูงอายุในชีวิตประจำวัน งานศึกษาชิ้นนี้ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและเชิงปริมาณ การเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับผู้สูงอายุและบุคคลทั่วไปจำนวนทั้งหมด 20 คน เพื่อศึกษาถึงความต้องการและปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเลือกใช้เครื่องมือช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุ ต่อมาคือการเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณผ่านการสำรวจด้วยแบบสอบถามออนไลน์จากกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุและกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไปจำนวนทั้งหมด 200 คน เพื่อทำความเข้าใจในการใช้เครื่องมือช่วยเหลือของผู้สูงอายุได้ลึกซึ่งมากยิ่งขึ้น ผลการศึกษาพบว่ามีปัจจัยสำคัญสำคัญทั้งหมด 3 ปัจจัย คือ 1) การใช้งานเครื่องมืออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของผู้สูงอายุ 2) ความต้องการของฟังก์ชั่นในเครื่องมือช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุ และ 3) รูปทรงของเครื่องมือช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุแบบพกพา นอกจากนี้การศึกษาครั้งนี้ยังพบว่า ผู้สูงอายุมีความต้องการเครื่องมือที่ใช้งานง่ายและมีความปลอดภัยสูง รวมถึงการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน จากผลการศึกษาทำให้ได้แนวทางในการพัฒนาให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการการใช้งานเทคโนโลยีเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุและส่งเสริมการใช้งานเครื่องมือช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุแบบพกพาให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้นตามปัจจัยสำคัญต่าง ๆ โดยมีการพัฒนาแบบจำลองผลิตภัณฑ์แนวความคิด (Conceptual Product) ออกมาเป็นรูปแบบนาฬิกาข้อมือ ซึ่งได้มีการนำแบบจำลองเครื่องมือช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุแบบพกพา มาวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ทางการตลาดและโอกาสในการต่อยอดออกสู่เชิงพาณิชย์ในอนาคต

This study aims to analyze all the Chinese Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) during 2010–2014 and follow their performance for five years. The study particularly tests the competing hypotheses on the role of Chinese private equity. The sample includes 916 firms that operate continuously for five years after IPOs to provide additional evidence on long-term performance. The results using the BHARs method indicate that private equity-backed IPOs tend to have significantly higher initial returns than non-PE-backed ones during three years of listing, supporting the screening and monitoring effect hypothesis in China’s capital market. The purpose of the study was to validate Snepenger, King, Marshall, and Uysal’s (2006) model of Iso-Ahola’s (1982) theory of tourism motivation for use in point-to-point suborbital space tourism research. No previous research was discovered, which assessed point-to-point suborbital space flight within the theoretical foundation of the theory of tourism motivation. Snepenger et al.’s (2006) model was assessed as published, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) failed to produce data fitting the four dimensions.
