(Aug. 2, 2023) Expectant mothers and those who have recently delivered a child have better access to medical breastfeeding assistance thanks to new TennCare coverage brought about through the efforts of an ETSU Health provider.  

ETSU Health’s Director of Lactation Services, Gloria Dudney, successfully petitioned the state to cover lactation consultations through TennCare Medicaid, CoverKids and TennCareSelect, effective June 1, 2023. Patients of these programs may now receive medically appropriate outpatient services from in-network providers during pregnancy and through the extended postpartum period.

Emotional contagion influences multiple important individual and organizational outcomes, including burnout, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behaviors, and task performance. The current meta-analytic review utilizes Barsade and colleagues' model of emotional contagion in organizational life and Van Kleef's emotions as social information model, creating a theoretically and empirically based examination of emotional contagion in organizational dyads covering the past 30 years of research. It offers nuance to traditional positive and negative affect conceptualization by utilizing Van Kleef's four social emotion categories (i.e., affiliation, appeasement, dominance, supplication) along with general positive and negative valanced emotional expressions as antecedents of emotional contagion. This dissertation examines the troubling underrepresentation of staff of color in Pacific Northwest community colleges. Despite the proven benefits of racial staff diversity in promoting student success, community colleges face challenges in recruiting and retaining staff of color. Existing literature concerning non-teaching staff at community colleges is limited. This study adds to the existing literature by investigating the experiences and perceptions of staff of color in Pacific Northwest community colleges to identify effective strategies for increasing racial staff diversity.

The goal of this research is to identify the factors that influence the net interest margin (NIM) for Palestinian conventional banks. Palestine is a unique country with poor governance, political uncertainty, and regulatory insufficiency, adding higher information asymmetry to the decision-making process. The sample is comprised of unbalanced panel data from 15 commercial banks for the period 2011–2020. The research used a pooled OLS, a fixed-effect model, a random effect model, a robust pooled OLS, a difference GMM, and a system GMM estimators. • The local primary river users visited the river 49.3 times per year and nonlocal primary river users visited the river 14.7 times per year.
• The nonlocal primary river users averaged $15.84 in spending per person, per day, resulting in $9.0 million in total direct spending.
• The nonlocal primary river users generated $8.3 million in economic output, adding $4.2 million to the local GDP, and support for 80 jobs.

During the sharing boom, product lines and add-ons are significant for manufacturers who have established sharing platforms to provide sharing and rental services. In this paper, we consider a manufacturer that provides two products of different quality in the rental channel (i.e., the B2C sharing platform) and the sales channel. The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the relationship between customers’ personality traits and the perceived helpfulness of online reviews. In the first essay, I explore the effect of product type, search versus experience products, on the relationship between personality and review helpfulness. Periods of high investor sentiment generally result in pressure on loan spreads due to the ability to issue equity at lower cost. Thus, I conjecture that managers of borrowing firms as well as lenders may trade-off lower spreads against higher or more restrictive covenants during such periods.
