The purpose of the study was to compare the somatic build of football and basketball players aged 14, 15 and 16 years with non-training boys of the same age. The study involved 301 boys, who were divided into three study groups: football players, basketball players and non-training boys. The level of the boys’ somatic development was established on the basis of body weight and height measurements, which were the basis for determining the BMI and Rohrer’s index. The objective of this study is self-recorded BMI among 20-year-old female students in the context of their physical activity, weight, body height, parent’s education and the time factor. Statistical analysis of the data was based on anthropometric measurements and a survey conducted among female students (N = 1,394) from the first year of full-time studies at the Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport (AWFiS) in the years 2003–2010. The aim of the current investigation was to examine the influence of the front and back squat variants on the hamstring and the quadriceps muscles kinematics. Eighteen male participants were recruited with 1 repetition maximum values of 122.7 ±16.4 and 88.7 ±13.9 kg for the back and front squat lifts. Participants completed both back and front squats at 70% of their front squat 1 repetition maximum. The hamstring and the quadriceps muscle kinematics were determined during kinetic situations using motion capture data, in addition to segmental and joint kinematics. The aim of this study is to determine synergistic motor outcomes understood as sets of mutually dependent players’ motor abilities affecting the efficacy of performance skills of young volleyball players. The study was carried out during a national volleyball tournament for 150 boys aged 14-15 years. The matches were recorded with two cameras placed 10 m behind the end line, 1.6 m above the floor. The following parameters were assessed: attack efficacy, block efficacy, serve efficacy. The aim of the study was to determine the relation between motor abilities and the rateof success in dancing of 85 students of the Faculty of Kinesiology. Efficiency in dancing was represented by the marks given to the subjects by five expertsafter performing each dance on the basis of a video recording. Background: As physical activity, health, and the quality of life are strongly related. Leisure habits of students of the University of Debrecen, Hungary, were assessed in a recent survey. The survey used both online and offline (written) questionnaires. In the survey sport was defined as a physical activity outside of compulsory Physical Education (PE) classes that lasts for at least half an hour. The issues with the injuries caused by the sports trainings are strictly related with the legal liability of natural and legal persons directly participating in sports activities, including trainers, medical staff, sports clubs, organizers of the sports events, equipment and devices manufacturers, the owners of sports facilities and the contestants themselves. Background: The subject matter of the submitted survey was to determine what coping strategies are used to manage stress by university students in the field of education. Material and methods: The research group included 51 university students of the Faculty of Education in a combined type of study (the students teach at high schools concurrently with their studies). To collect data, the standardised Stress Coping Style Questionnaire, SVF-78 was used. Results: There is a statistically significant difference between the variables. The resolution of any dilemmas related to the implementation of the curriculum must take into account its objectives, generally speaking, developing the readiness of students to participate independently in health-motivated, sporting and aesthetically-motivated physical activity and to take health promoting measures. This article describes the assumptions of the original modular physical education programme for the first stage of education in the aspect of track and field. The physical education programme was designed for use in classes where the number of hours of compulsory physical education classes has been extended or for work with students with special physical abilities.

Background: Diseases of genetic origin are very often associated with oral disorders. One of them is Gardner syndrome (GS) a rare variant of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), whose main manifestation is colon cancer. Its most common oral cavity symptoms include osteomas, odontomas and impacted or supernumerary teeth. Material and methods: Medline (PubMed), Medline (Ebsco), Scopus and Google Scholar databases were searched oral manifestations of Gardner Syndrome.Results: Thirty-eight articles met inclusion criteria. The most frequently mentioned oral changes included osteomas, impacted teeth, supernumerary teeth and odontomas. Conclusion: This review provides evidence for associating FAP with oral disorders.
