While numerous studies have addressed teacher turnover, significant research gaps still exist, highlighting the need for further investigation. The problem addressed in this study was the high teacher turnover rate in a high school compared to its district counterparts in a northwest Oregon school district. The problem addressed in this study is that irrespective of active involvement of Nigeria in Universal Basic Education, the nation still records the highest number of out-of-school children globally. The purpose of this quantitative study was to determine how geopolitical location, socio-economics of the household, parental education, role of the child, age of the child, and gender of the child predict the educational status of children in Nigeria. This report presents the findings of research on education system resilience in Samoa during and immediately following the COVID-19 pandemic in order to build a deeper understanding of policies and practices in place, and what lessons can be drawn to support system-wide adjustments to mitigate future school disruptions. Data included case studies of practice, student assessment data and secondary data analysis of the 2018-2021 PILNA surveys for Samoa. The increased attention to social emotional learning (SEL) and instruction provided to students has prompted districts and states to implement SEL curriculum, pedagogical practices, and strategies to support educators in SEL implementation (Dermody & Dusenbury, 2022; Paolini, 2020). Teachers’ perceptions of SEL have been found to influence their willingness to adopt SEL initiatives (Zolkoski et al., 2022). The underrepresentation of Latino students in K-8 Catholic schools, despite the significant growth of the Latino population in the United States, presents a challenge for Catholic school leaders seeking to mirror the communities they serve. This qualitative narrative inquiry explores the perceptions of Diocese of Raleigh K-8 Catholic school principals regarding Latino student recruitment practices. Through interviews with principals, this study examines (1) the perceived value of Catholic education for Latino students, (2) factors influencing Latino student enrollment, and (3) how these perceptions shape recruitment strategies.

School districts are required to identify emergent bilingual (EB) students, provide appropriate bilingual education programs, and assess language acquisition progress to ensure equal educational opportunity. The problem investigated in this study was that, in 2022, only 38% of the EB student population in Southwestern School District (SSD, a pseudonym) demonstrated progress in achieving English language proficiency in the composite scores of the TELPAS assessment that included listening, speaking, reading, and writing language domains. The Summit K-12 computerized intervention program was instituted by SSD to address EB student language development. Purpose: This mixed methods study investigated how influential veteran active-duty United States Air Force (USAF) leaders leverage clarity, connection, and communication to build high-performance teams (HPTs). Qualitative data provided in-depth insights into leadership practices in diverse operational settings, while quantitative data assessed the perceived importance of these competencies.

What is new?

While Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have, in recent years, placed greater emphasis on promoting good research practices, it is yet relatively unknown what leadership approaches are best suited to cultivating a positive culture of research integrity (RI) in HEIs. This small-scale exploratory descriptive study therefore sought to uncover initial findings from within the European context on practices research leaders found to be most effective in leading positive change in this space.

The article examines efforts to restore school librarian positions across eleven urban U.S. school districts, despite significant financial and administrative obstacles. It documents strategies used by district library leaders to advocate for staffing, funding, and policy changes, emphasizing equity in access to certified school librarians. Through structured interviews and analysis, the report highlights key barriers, advocacy methods, and funding mechanisms that have influenced school library staffing. The study's findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on educational equity and policy reform in K-12 library services.
