This article examines how adult educators at an urban community college, cope with and persist in the face of dual pandemics: COVID-19 and systemic racism. It delves into the requirements they faced turning in-person instruction to distance learning platforms at a moment’s notice, how they dealt with claims of racial disparity in doing so, and how the resurgence of racial unrest across the country challenged not only their own values and beliefs but how these events impacted their ability to teach and interact with their diverse students. Those who teach online are often concerned with preservice or in‐service teacher development, specifically the lack of specialized opportunities focusing on online instructional practices. Online educators have acknowledged that this focus is limited and that the induction years of beginning teachers are an important component of teacher development. This mixed-method sequential explanatory study focused on the induction years of cyber charter teachers. It examined their perceptions of their induction program with the intention of adding to the literature in this under-examined area (Creswell, 2013). In this thesis, I address the systemic issue of sexual violence and rape culture that affect students on college campuses at an alarming rate. By utilizing critical action research, I propose the creation of the Department of Survivor Outreach and Response (SOAR), a holistic and collaborative department that focuses on supporting and advocating for survivors of sexual violence while also conducting prevention and education initiatives. Globally, while the population is ageing, only 3% of older (≥65 years) adults are engaged in entrepreneurship. The Healthy Ageing agenda is responding to the population trends by increasing its focus on elements of active or productive ageing (incorporating older working) with quality of life as a primary outcome. Alignment and exploitation of the synergies between healthy ageing and older entrepreneurial engagement are lacking. Entrepreneurship education is broadening its focus and targeting inclusivity, albeit with as yet little focus on the older population. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตที่จำเป็นสำหรับเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์ในการเตรียมความพร้อมกลับคืนสู่สังคม 2) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์ ใช้ระเบียบวิธีการแบบการวิจัยและพัฒนา เครื่องมือในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบสอบถาม และประเด็นสนทนากลุ่ม โดยมีวิธีดำเนินการวิจัย (1)เพื่อศึกษาวัตถุประสงค์ที่ 1:ศึกษาเอกสารและสื่อจำนวน 30 รายการ และสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ที่เคยเป็นเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์และประสบความสำเร็จเมื่อออกมาใช้ชีวิตในสังคม นำผลที่ได้มาสร้างเป็นแบบสอบถาม 2 ชุด 1. เพื่อสอบถามเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์ในขอบเขตของทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต และ 2.เพื่อสอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่ในสถานสงเคราะห์เด็กเรื่องการส่งเสริมทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต (2)เพื่อศึกษาวัตถุประสงค์ที่ 2 ทำการสนทนากลุ่ม เพื่อให้ได้รูปแบบการส่งเสริมทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. ข้อค้นพบตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่ 1.มี 2 ส่วน คือ 1.1) ทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตที่จำเป็นสำหรับเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์ มี 10 ทักษะ คือ (1) ทักษะความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ (2) ทักษะด้านสุขภาพจิต การจัดการกับความเครียด มีจริยธรรม คุณธรรม มีวินัย (3) ทักษะด้านอาชีพ การเรียนรู้ และการจัดการเวลา (4) ทักษะการคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ และการแก้ปัญหา (5) ทักษะการเขียน (6) ทักษะการอ่าน (7) ทักษะการร่วมมือกับเครือข่ายต่างๆ ทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น (8) ทักษะคอมพิวเตอร์ เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ การสื่อสารสารสนเทศและรู้เท่าทันสื่อ (9) ทักษะความเข้าใจต่างวัฒนธรรม ต่างกระบวนทัศน์ (10) ทักษะการเงิน การคิดเลข คำนวณ 1.2) การส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในสถานสงเคราะห์เด็ก มี 4 ด้าน ดังนี้ (1) ด้านนโยบาย ประกอบด้วย พัฒนาการเรียนรู้แบบนำตนเอง พัฒนาทักษะด้านอาชีพ และพัฒนาตามศักยภาพของผู้เรียนที่แตกต่าง (2) ด้านบุคลากร ประกอบด้วย ผู้อำนวยความสะดวกและสร้างความร่วมมือในการเรียนรู้ ผู้แนะแนวทาง และผู้เรียนร่วม (3) สภาพแวดล้อม ประกอบด้วย ด้านกายภาพคือในห้องเรียน นอกห้องเรียน ภายในบ้าน ด้านจิตวิทยา ประกอบด้วยพฤติกรรม …

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาปัจจัยในการส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง และนำเสนอแนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของพลทหารกองประจำการในหลักสูตรการศึกษานอกระบบระดับขั้นพื้นฐาน รูปแบบการวิจัยเป็นแบบการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือพลทหารกองประจำการในหลักสูตรการศึกษานอกระบบระดับขั้นพื้นฐานระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 1,140 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถามปัจจัยในการส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ปัจจัยในการส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง ได้แก่ แรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง สัมพันธภาพกับครูและเพื่อน ลักษณะมุ่งอนาคต บทบาทของครู ความมีวินัยในตนเอง การเรียนการสอนที่ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง บรรยากาศการเรียนการสอน และแหล่งเรียนรู้ ตามลำดับ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 4.08, S.D.=0.52) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ .05 2) แนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง ประกอบด้วย 5 แนวทาง ได้แก่ (1) ด้านสัมพันธภาพกับครูและเพื่อน ได้แก่ การจัดกิจกรรมแบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์ (2) ด้านการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง ได้แก่ การประเมินตนเองเป็นรายบุคคลเพื่อจัดกิจกรรมโครงการเรียนรู้ผ่านกิจวัตรประจำของพลทหารกองประจำการ (3) ด้านบทบาทของครู ได้แก่ การปรับแนวคิด สร้างเป้าหมายและสร้างการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองให้เต็มศักยภาพ (4) ด้านการเรียนการสอนที่ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง ได้แก่ การแนะนำส่งเสริมการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศที่เหมาะสม (5) ด้านแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์จุดอ่อนจุดแข็งของตนเอง ส่งเสริมจินตนาการและตั้งเป้าหมายในอนาคต

A series of highly publicized off-campus acts of racial violence between February and September 2020 ignited a national reckoning on race, racism, anti-Black racism, and the role of higher education in systemic discrimination. The overall aim of the Le Chéile journey of the Community Development and Youth Work programme team was to embed anti-racism in the teaching, learning and assessment of the programme. Changes were introduced to modules in terms of new content, students were exposed to different perspectives and voices, and new workshops were designed for placement preparation around identifying and responding to racism. With regard to assessment, case studies were used to develop responses to the lived experiences of racism in community development, youth work and higher education settings.
