Quantum tunneling is a phenomenon where a particle appears on the other side of an energy barrier that it does not have enough energy to pass through, according to classical physics. This notion, first proposed by a German physicist in 1927, runs improbably counter to common sense and to rules thought for hundreds of years to govern physics. Latino/Hispanics are one of the largest ethnic minority groups in the United States, yet they are underrepresented in higher education. Grounded on the social cognitive theory and the Hoover-Dempsey and Sandler model, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parental expectations, parental involvement, parental self-efficacy, and postsecondary planning of Latino/Hispanic students. Dyslexic children often fail to correct errors while reading aloud, and dyslexic adolescents and adults exhibit lower amplitudes of the error-related negativity (ERN)—the neural response to errors—than typical readers during silent reading. Past researchers therefore suggested that dyslexia may arise from a faulty error-detection mechanism that interferes with orthographic learning and text comprehension. An alternative possibility is that comprehension difficulty in dyslexics is primarily a downstream effect of low-quality lexical representations—that is, poor word knowledge. This paper investigates the empirical evidence and discourse surrounding a popular therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). While studies over the past 60 years have shown ABA to be a highly effective therapy for decreasing unwanted behaviors and increasing compliance in people with autism, many autistic adults have expressed that the therapy had long-term harmful effects on their mental health and wellbeing. Fear of negative evaluation from others is an innate human characteristic. When a program is being evaluated and program staff are involved in evaluation activities, these stakeholders are allowing their services and by extension, themselves, to be examined by evaluators. Consequently, program evaluation can be an anxiety-inducing and uncomfortable experience for program staff. In response to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many communities of endangered Indigenous languages have utilised digital technologies and created online language resources with renewed motivation. In this article we explore the ways that Noongar community members have shifted, adapted and persisted in creating new language revitalisation resources for their endangered Aboriginal language, describing three case studies of video content created and shared online through social media as localised responses to the pressing need for easily produced, accessible and engaging online approaches to support Indigenous communities and their languages.

Higher total fruit and vegetable (FV) intakes have been associated with lower perceived stress. The relationship between specific types of FV and perceived stress remains uncertain. The aims of this cross-sectional study were to explore the relationship between consumption of specific types of FV with perceived stress in a population-based cohort of men and women aged ≥ 25 years from the Australian Diabetes, Obesity and Lifestyle (AusDiab) Study.

This article examines how cultural contexts influence the demonstration of resilient behaviors of women senior managers in large organizations. We compare the experiences of Malaysian and Australian women overcoming key challenges and obstacles in their career journeys by engaging in the resilience strategies of network leveraging, learning, and adaptability. Our findings reveal the unique, complex, and contextual nature of career resilience, and show how resilience can be demonstrated, often differently, across culture and context. Introduction. Acute pain is a prevalent problem for dementia residents in nursing homes. A variety of intervention strategies have been applied to address this problem. However, there remains an issue of inadequate pain control. This study aims to explore the analgesic efficacy of auricular acupressure (AA) for dementia residents with acute pain in nursing homes. Student bullying behaviours are a significant social issue in schools worldwide. Whilst school staff have access to quality bullying prevention interventions, schools can face significant challenges implementing the whole-school approach required to address the complexity of these behaviours. This study aimed to understand how schools’ capacity to implement whole-school bullying prevention interventions could be strengthened to promote sustainability and improve student outcomes. การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพตามแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยา​ เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ผสมผสานอัตลักษณ์ของนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษามืออาชีพ โดยทําการเก็บรวบรวม ข้อมูลผ่านการสัมภาษณ์นักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษามืออาชีพที่มีประสบการณ์ทํางานมาแล้วไม่ต่ำกว่า 5 ปี จํานวนทั้งสิ้น 7 คน ซึ่งเป็นการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างและนําข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ตามกรอบแนวคิดของการทําวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยาซึ่งเป็นการวิเคราะห์แบบ Theme analysis ผลจากการวิจัยทําให้เห็นว่า​ประสบการณ์ผสมผสานอัตลักษณ์ของนักจิตวิทยาการ ปรึกษามืออาชีพสามารถสรุปออกมาได้เป็น 2 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ 1.​ แนวทางในการพัฒนาอัตลักษณ์ ซึ่งเป็นการสรุปถึงวิธีการหรือแนวทางต่าง ๆ ที่นักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษาใช้ในการพัฒนาอัตลักษณ์ และ 2.​ อัตลักษณ์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปของนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษา ซึ่งเป็นการสรุปถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นกับทั้งอัตลักษณ์ทางวิชาชีพและอัตลักษณ์ส่วนบุคคลของนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษา​ โดยข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษา ข้างต้นนั้นช่วยให้เราเห็นพลวัตที่เกิดขึ้นกับอัตลักษณ์ของนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษา เห็นถึงเหตุปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาอัตลักษณ์ รวมถึงทําให้เราเห็นถึงความเกี่ยวข้องกันระหว่างพัฒนาการทางวิชาชีพและพัฒนาการของอัตลักษณ์ในนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษา ทำให้เกิดเป็นองค์ความรู้ต่อพัฒนาการของอัตลักษณ์ในนักจิตวิทยาการปรึกษาที่ลึกซึ้งมากขึ้น

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของสมาชิกในครอบครัวที่ให้การสนับสนุนดูแลผู้ป่วยวัยรุ่นโรคซึมเศร้า โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยาเชิงตีความ และเก็บข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ใช้คำถามที่มีลักษณะกึ่งโครงสร้างกับผู้เข้าร่วมวิจัย คือ ผู้ดูแลในครอบครัว จำนวน 6 คน ซึ่งเคยมีประสบการณ์ในการดูแลหรือกำลังให้การดูแลวัยรุ่นช่วงอายุ 13-19 ปีที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยจากจิตแพทย์ว่าเป็นโรคซึมเศร้า โดยให้การสนับสนุนดูแลในด้านต่าง ๆ ที่จำเป็นให้กับวัยรุ่นในครอบครัว เช่น ด้านความเป็นอยู่ ด้านเศรษฐกิจ ด้านสังคม ด้านอารมณ์ ด้านการรักษา หรือด้านการปรับตัวมาอย่างต่อเนื่องไม่น้อยกว่า 3 เดือน ผลการศึกษา พบประเด็นสำคัญ 4 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ 1. การมีทรัพยากรที่เพียงพอต่อการสนับสนุนดูแลวัยรุ่นที่เป็นโรคซึมเศร้า 2. การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางด้านอารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างให้การดูแล 3. แนวทางการปรับตัวในบทบาทของผู้ดูแล และ 4. การตกผลึกทางความคิดจากประสบการณ์ในการดูแล สรุปผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของบุคคลที่เป็นผู้ให้การสนับสนุนดูแลวัยรุ่นในครอบครัวที่เป็นโรคซึมเศร้า ทั้งลักษณะแนวทางในการดูแลรับมือ มุมมองความคิด อารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างให้การดูแล การปรับตัวและสิ่งที่ผู้ดูแลได้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ของตนเอง ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ที่กำลังเผชิญกับอุปสรรคปัญหาในการดูแลวัยรุ่นที่เป็นโรคซึมเศร้า รวมถึงผู้ที่มีความสนใจในงานให้บริการทางด้านสุขภาพจิต เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการเป็นผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวให้กับวัยรุ่นที่เป็นโรคซึมเศร้า ตลอดจนนำไปเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาตนเองและให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่สมาชิกในครอบครัวที่มีปัญหาทางด้านจิตใจต่อไป

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ได้แก่ เพศสภาพ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบมุ่งเน้นความเชี่ยวชาญ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบหลีกเลี่ยงความไม่เชี่ยวชาญ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบมุ่งเน้นการแสดงความสามารถ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบหลีกเลี่ยงการแสดงความด้อยความสามารถ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูของบิดามารดาแบบห่วงใย การอบรมเลี้ยงดูของบิดามารดาแบบปกป้องมากเกินไป การรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเอง การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง และลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบ โดยมีสมมติฐานการวิจัยว่าปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์ทั้งหมดดังกล่าวสามารถร่วมกันทำนายความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีได้ การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสหสัมพันธ์ เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ 5 อันดับแรกของประเทศไทย ทุกชั้นปี อายุตั้งแต่ 18-25 ปี ที่สามารถอ่านทำความเข้าใจภาษาไทยได้ จำนวน 309 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา โดยใช้ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงอนุมาน โดยใช้ค่าสหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณแบบนำตัวแปรเข้าทุกตัวแปร ผลการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณพบว่าตัวแปรทำนายทั้งหมดสามารถร่วมกันทำนายความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีได้ร้อยละ 41.60 โดยคะแนนลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบสามารถทำนายได้มากที่สุด (β = .493, p < .01) รองลงมาคือ การรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเอง (β = -.195, p < .01) และการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง (β = -.161, p < .01) ตามลำดับ ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่า แม้นักศึกษาที่นับว่าเรียนเก่งจนสามารถผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าเรียนในมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของรัฐ ก็มีแนวโน้มที่จะเกิดความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถได้มาก เนื่องจากมีลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบสูง มีการรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเองต่ำ และมีการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองต่ำ
