Resilience Of The Black Woman: Thriving Through Storytelling, Kimberly R. Miller

The study explored how storytelling develops resilience in Black women, enabling them to thrive after overcoming adversity. Storytelling can be conducted in a variety of ways, such as through writing, interaction with others, and self-analysis, however, this study will focus on the value of informal oral storytelling through the interactions with others. Studies reveal that Black women are disproportionately impacted by inequities concerning equal rights, employment, equal pay, education, discrimination, affordable healthcare and housing, criminal justice, and voting rights. In the United States, one in five adults are impacted by some form of mental illness in any given year, but only about 40% of individuals seek professional mental health support. While occupational therapists (OT) may work with individuals with mental illness to improve social skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, and neurocognitive interventions, research suggests there is not enough emphasis on this content in professional OT education. The applied dissertation was designed to understand the perceptions of private-sector employers regarding the selection of candidates from distance-only higher education institutions. Guided by signaling theory as a framework, the study explored the mismatch between institutional, student, and employer expectations of skills and readiness for the labor market. Research into the employability of students and the acceptability of their distance-only degrees in the business sector could be informative as to whether the investment of students and their families provided fruitful employment opportunities. งานวิจัยในอดีตมักพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับครูโดยตรง แต่วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยนี้ต้องการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของครูประถมศึกษาผ่านตัวแปรปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนหลักสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต 3 ตัวแปร ได้แก่ กรอบคิดการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต นิสัยการเรียนรู้ และการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง โดยใช้การวิจัยการออกแบบ จำแนกการศึกษาเป็น 3 ระยะ ระยะแรก ใช้การวิจัยเชิงบรรยายเพื่อวิเคราะห์ระดับการเรียนรู้และตัวแปรภูมิหลังของครูที่อธิบายผลที่เกิดขึ้น โดยการสำรวจสภาพการเรียนรู้ของครูประถมศึกษาที่ได้จากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นจำนวน 943 คน เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ จำนวน 35 ข้อ ผ่านการตรวจสอบคุณภาพด้านความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ มีค่าดัชนีความตรงรายฉบับ (S-CVI) เท่ากับ .97 ความเที่ยงแบบความสอดคล้องภายในมีค่าระหว่าง .925 ถึง .963 และเครื่องมือมีความตรงเชิงโครงสร้างจากการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน และความตรงตามสภาพจากการใช้วิธีกลุ่มรู้ชัด ระยะที่สอง เป็นการออกแบบและพัฒนาโมดูลเสริมสร้างปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนหลักสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตของครู โดยพัฒนาหลักการออกแบบจากแนวคิดทฤษฎีที่นำมาเป็นข้ออ้างเชิงเหตุผล และพัฒนาต้นแบบกิจกรรมในโมดูลเสริมสร้างปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนหลักสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต โดยตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของต้นแบบกิจกรรมก่อนนำไปทดลองใช้จากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ระยะที่สาม เป็นการนำต้นแบบกิจกรรมไปทดลองปฏิบัติกับครู 39 คน ในโรงเรียนที่เป็นกรณีศึกษาจำนวน 6 โรงเรียนจำแนกตาม 3 สังกัด คือ สังกัด สพฐ. สช. และกทม. เป็นโรงเรียนขนาดเล็กและขนาดกลาง 4 โรงเรียน และโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่ 2 โรงเรียน ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 4 เดือน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. โดยเฉลี่ยครูมีกรอบคิดการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต นิสัยการเรียนรู้ และการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองสูง โดยกรอบคิดการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสูงกว่าอีกสองตัวแปร นิสัยการเรียนรู้ และการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองมีความแตกต่างกันตามตัวแปรเพศ ประสบการณ์ทำงาน และสังกัดโรงเรียน 2. แนวคิดทฤษฎีที่นำมาใช้ในการสร้างหลักการออกแบบกิจกรรมในโมดูล คือ Growth Mindset (Dweck, 2006), Atomic Habits (Clear, 2018), Self-Directed Learning (Knowles, 1975), Teaching Coaching and Mentoring Approach (Ali, Wahi & Yamat, 2018) ผลการวิจัยได้ต้นแบบโมดูลเสริมสร้างปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนหลักสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตตามหลักการออกแบบจำนวน 5 หลักการ …

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.เพื่อวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบจากความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินที่ส่งผลต่อการเป็นหนี้ของครู 2.เพื่อศึกษาผลการนำรูปแบบการเสริมสร้างความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินสำหรับครูกับกลุ่มเป้าหมายและ 3. เพื่อนำเสนอข้อเสนอแนะแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินสำหรับครู กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยได้แก่ สมาชิกของสหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์ครูกรมสามัญศึกษากรุงเทพ งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน ผลการวิจัยมีดังนี้ 1. องค์ประกอบของความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินที่ส่งผลต่อการเป็นหนี้ของครูด้านความรู้ทางการเงิน ประกอบด้วย ด้านนโยบายคุ้มครองเงินฝาก (PROTECT) ด้านเครดิตบูโร (BUREAU) ด้านการคำนวณดอกเบี้ยของสินเชื่อ (INTEREST) ด้านการหาร (DEVIDE) ด้านพฤติกรรมทางการเงิน ประกอบด้วย ด้านเปรียบเทียบข้อมูลก่อนซื้อ (COMPARE) ด้านจัดทำบัญชี (ACCOUNT) ด้านไตร่ตรองก่อนซื้อ (PONDER) ด้านจ่ายเงินตรงเวลา (ONTIME) ด้านการบริหารจัดการเงินเมื่อเงินไม่พอใช้ (MANAGE) ตามลำดับ และ ด้านทัศนคติทางการเงิน ประกอบด้วยด้านการออม (SAVING) ด้านการใช้เงิน (SPENT) 2. รูปแบบการเสริมสร้างความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินสำหรับครู ประกอบด้วย 9 องค์ประกอบ คือ 1) วัตถุประสงค์การเรียนรู้ 2) ผู้เรียน 3) ผู้จัดการเรียนรู้ 4) เนื้อหาสาระ 5) กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 6) ระยะเวลา 7) แหล่งความรู้และสื่อการสอน 8) สภาพแวดล้อม และ 9) การประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ กิจกรรมเสริมสร้างการเรียนรู้แบ่งเป็น 3 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม เพื่อพัฒนาความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงินสำหรับครู ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้เชิงประสบการณ์ของ Kolb (1982) แบ่งเป็น 4 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นที่ 1 ประสบการณ์เชิงรูปธรรม ขั้นที่ 2 การสังเกต ไตร่ตรอง และทบทวน 3) สรุปหลักการและสร้างแนวคิดเชิงรูปธรรม และ ขั้นที่ 4 ขั้นลงมือปฏิบัติ ระยะที่ 2 ฝึกปฏิบัติเพื่อสร้างความรู้และส่งเสริมความฉลาดรู้ทางการเงิน ระยะที่ 3 นำเสนอผลงานของการจัดการแผนการเงินของตนเองทั้งระยะสั้น กลาง …

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ส่งเสริมให้พี่เลี้ยงและแกนนำเด็กออกแบบเกมการเรียนรู้สำหรับเด็กในมูลนิธิโดยใช้กระบวนการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนแบบมีส่วนร่วมและการคิดเชิงออกแบบ และ 2) เพื่อถอดบทเรียนการส่งเสริมการออกแบบเกมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนแบบมีส่วนร่วมและการคิดเชิงออกแบบ การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Action research) โดยทำการวิจัยร่วมกับพี่เลี้ยงและแกนนำเด็กในมูลนิธิอัลเกาษัร จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ จำนวน 20 คน จัดกระบวนการตามแผนการส่งเสริมการออกแบบเกมการเรียนรู้ของพี่เลี้ยงและแกนนำเด็กในมูลนิธิเด็กมุสลิม รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 30 ชั่วโมง ใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาจากแบบบันทึกการเรียนรู้ แบบบันทึกการสนทนากลุ่ม และแบบบันทึกการสนทนากลุ่มเพื่อประเมินเกมการเรียนรู้ จากการดำเนินการวิจัย พบว่าสามารถส่งเสริมให้พี่เลี้ยงและแกนนำเด็กออกแบบเกมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลไกหรือกติกาของเกมเดิม (Re-theme) ได้เกมการเรียนรู้จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 7 เกม แต่มีเกมการเรียนรู้ที่ผ่านการทดลองเล่นและปรับปรุงเกมครบ 3 ครั้ง จำนวน 2 เกม ได้แก่ เกม Bingo Emotion และเกมธุรกิจพันล้าน ซึ่งสามารถนำไปใช้ในการทำกิจกรรมกับเด็กในมูลนิธิต่อไปได้ นอกจากนี้ ผลการถอดบทเรียนของพี่เลี้ยงและแกนนำเด็กได้สะท้อนว่ากระบวนการช่วยสร้างความรู้สึกกล้าทำสิ่งใหม่ ๆ สร้างการมีส่วนร่วม สามารถนำเกมการเรียนรู้ที่ออกแบบและกระบวนการออกแบบเกมการเรียนรู้ไปใช้และการต่อยอดในอนาคต รวมถึงได้พัฒนาตนเองทั้งด้านความรู้ ทักษะ และทัศนคติอีกด้วย

การวิจัยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน ปัญหาการเรียนรู้และการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของผู้สอนในสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชน 2) พัฒนาชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ของผู้สอนในสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชนเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของผู้เรียน และศึกษาผลการใช้ชุมชน ฯ 3) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของผู้เรียนในสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชน และ 4) จัดทำข้อเสนอแนะในการนำชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ของผู้สอนในสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชนเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของผู้เรียนไปสู่การขยายผล โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างในขั้นตอนสำรวจ คือผู้สอนประจำของวิทยาลัยชุมชน ปี 2566 จำนวน 161 คน จากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน และกลุ่มตัวอย่างในกระบวนการทดลอง คือ ผู้สอนจำนวน 8 คน ที่สมัครเข้าร่วมเรียนรู้ในชุมชนโดยสมัครใจ ภายใต้แนวคิดการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง การจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองสำหรับผู้เรียน และการเรียนรู้ของผู้ใหญ่ ที่ใช้เป็นกรอบแนวคิดในกระบวนการเรียนรู้ในชุมชน ฯ และเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยการถอดบทเรียน สกัดองค์ความรู้ของอาสาสมัคร พร้อมทั้งการจดบันทึกและการสังเกตการณ์ของผู้วิจัยในฐานะผู้อำนวยความสะดวก ซึ่งผลการวิจัย พบว่า การจัดกระบวนการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองในชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ ช่วยให้ผู้สอนสามารถออกแบบกระบวนการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเอง ทั้งเพื่อพัฒนาตนเองและพัฒนาผู้เรียนได้ โดยจำแนกผลการวิจัยตามวัตถุประสงค์ได้ดังนี้ 1.ผู้สอนของสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชนมีการเรียนรู้จากการฝึกอบรม การทำงานในพื้นที่ แต่ยังขาดการ แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ร่วมกับจังหวัดอื่น และพบปัญหาด้านการออกแบบกระบวนการเรียนรู้ทั้งเพื่อตนเองและเพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียน 2.ชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ของผู้สอนในสถาบันวิทยาลัยชุมชนเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้วยการนำตนเองของผู้เรียน คือ ชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ด้วยบรรยากาศพลังบวก 9 ประการ ประกอบด้วย (1) ชุมชนผสมผสาน พบปะกันในหลายรูปแบบทั้งออนไลน์ ออนไซต์ เพื่อส่งเสริมเรื่องการติดต่อสื่อสารและปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง (2) ผู้ก่อตั้ง/ริเริ่มควรมีความน่าเชื่อถือ (3) พัฒนาสมาชิกให้เป็นผู้อำนวยความสะดวก โดยไม่มี “ผู้นำ - ผู้ตาม” หรือ “หัวหน้า - ลูกน้อง” แต่เป็นการสร้างความรู้สึกปลอดภัย ไว้วางใจซึ่งกันและกัน (4) ประเด็นการเรียนรู้เป็นคำถามชวนให้คิดมีประโยชน์ต่อสมาชิก ให้นำไปใช้ต่อยอดได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม (5) ตั้งเป้าหมายการเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน (6) เน้นการคิดระดมสมองและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ (7) สมาชิกได้รับโอกาสให้ออกแบบการเรียนรู้ของตัวเองได้อย่างอิสระเพื่อค้นหาคำตอบที่เป็นเป้าหมายทั้งส่วนตัวและส่วนรวม (8) ควบคุมการสื่อสารให้เป็นแบบสองทางเสมอ และ 9) เสริมสร้างกำลังใจพลังบวกเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิดบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ 3.ผู้สอนสามารถพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ได้ 4 แผน โดยใช้หลักการชวนคิดของการพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้สำหรับผู้เรียนวิทยาลัยชุมชน คือ หลักการ HEARTS 6 ประการ คือ (1) Hybrid คือการออกแบบกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสาน (2) …

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์สภาพและระดับการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมของอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน 2) เพื่อพัฒนากระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเพื่อเสริมสร้างการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมสำหรับอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยมีขั้นตอนดังนี้ (1) การวิเคราะห์สภาพและระดับการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมของอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย ได้แก่ อาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน 6 จังหวัด จำนวน 420 คน โดยใช้เครื่องมือแบบสอบถามเรื่องสภาพและระดับการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมของอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน (2) พัฒนากระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเพื่อเสริมสร้างการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมสำหรับอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้านด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้านเขตดุสิต จำนวน 20 คน ใช้แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมระหว่างการเข้าร่วมกระบวนการ แบบบันทึกผลกระบวนการ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติบรรยาย ส่วนข้อมูลบันทึกผลการเรียนรู้ใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการสร้างข้อสรุปแบบอุปนัย 1) ผลการวิเคราะห์สภาพการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีต่อองค์ประกอบ (1) ด้านความรู้ (2) ด้านทักษะ และ(3) ด้านเจตคติ อยู่ในระดับมาก และการวิเคราะห์ระดับการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีต่อองค์ประกอบ (1) ด้านความรู้ อยู่ในระดับการวิเคราะห์ผล (2) ด้านทักษะ อยู่ในระดับการนำไปใช้ และ (3) ด้านเจตคติ อยู่ในระดับการวิเคราะห์ผล 2) ผลการพัฒนากระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเพื่อเสริมสร้างการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมสำหรับอาสาสมัครพิทักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมหมู่บ้าน ได้แก่ 6 ขั้นตอนคือ ระบุความต้องการเรียนรู้ กำหนดวัตถุประสงค์ร่วมกัน จากประสบการณ์การทำงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เลือกวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่จะทำให้บรรลุเป้าหมาย ออกแบบประสบการณ์ในการเรียนรู้ ลงมือปฏิบัติตามสัญญาการเรียนรู้ ประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ และสะท้อนคิดจากที่เรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง 3) ผลการจัดทำแผนงานการนำกระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเพื่อเสริมสร้างการรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมสู่การปฏิบัติ ประกอบด้วยกระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ศึกษาพื้นที่ร่วมกับเครือข่ายผู้เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อรู้สภาพเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การวางแผนการเรียนรู้ ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การจัดประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ ขั้นตอนที่ 4 การสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้และการสร้างบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ และขั้นตอนที่ 5 การประเมินผลการเรียนรู้และวิเคราะห์แนวทางการพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่องด้วยประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับ ปัจจัยความสำเร็จในการนำแผนงานกระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนไปใช้ ได้แก่ 1) หน่วยงานของทุกภาคส่วนในพื้นที่ร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินกิจกรรมตามแผนงาน 2) ความพร้อมในบทบาทผู้อำนวยความสะดวก และ 3) ความร่วมมือของหน่วยงานสำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัด และเงื่อนไขในแผนงานการนำกระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนไปใช้ คือ งบประมาณที่ใช้ในการดำเนินงานและความเข้าใจกระบวนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง

"Entomology in Citizen Science" introduces students to entomology in literature, in science articles and studies, and in inquiry-based field experiences. Students engage in citizen science by surveying arthropods in the local environment and posting pictures on iNaturalist. Arthropod surveys conducted in this course will serve as baseline biodiversity measures and will be continued and added to by future classes. Written, visual, and mathematic expression are taught in this course, and course objectives align with the Benchmarks for Science Literacy Project 2061 (American Association for the Advancement of Science; 1993).

Emerging adults (Arnett, 2000) struggled with their transition from school to employment (Arnett, 2015). Within that group, individuals with disabilities were in a particularly vulnerable and disadvantaged situation. The 2009 to 2019 employment rates for emerging adults with disabilities (33-39%) were far lower than for those without disabilities (73-79%; U.S. Census, 2019). There are employment programs designed to assist and support individuals with disabilities to transition to and retain employment. One such program, Project SEARCH, has served over 34,000 young adults with intellectual disabilities while achieving an average 72% employment rate when program participants had completed the training.
