This research is an experiment in perspective. Using the four commonplaces (Schwab, 1978), I practiced letting the Savannah River teach me what there is to know about the water, the land, the people, and the other entities that depend on ki through artistic, ethnographic, and ecopedagogical lenses. The ethnographic findings describe the social actors that depend on ki and give a voice to the River. The a/r/tographic findings display the River on a canvas map through two hundred years using paint, clay, photography, video, abstract acrylics, and fabric. The goal of the current study was to ascertain pre-service English language teachers’ impressions of the impact of thematic speaking tasks on the development of their intercultural competence in an online Spoken English course. Moreover, the effect of certain demographic variables on pre-service teachers’ cultural intelligence (CQ) was also investigated. The findings revealed a significant difference between the CQ of students with and without overseas experience. Pre-service teachers who could speak languages other than their mother tongue and English had significantly higher CQ scores than students who could not speak other languages. This study aimed to examine the relationship between poor ergonomic conditions and student physiological discrepancies. This examination provided great insight into students’ daily experiences and concerns for their futures. The methodology used for this study was quantitative as two source data sets were collected and analyzed. The tool REBA was used to measure the specific body angles while students sat working. A survey yielded great results, giving the students an opportunity to subjectively choose options.

This phenomenological research study examined the personal experiences, habits, and perceptions of post-secondary students who binge drink. This study was guided by 3 research questions as well as pre-existing research into collegiate binge drinking. The experiences shared by participants showed that despite serious negative outcomes, students binge drink because they feel negatives are far outweighed by the positive social interactions and fun drinking creates. While all of the participants in this study are considered binge drinkers who abuse alcohol, none of the participants considered their drinking to be problematic. Insufficient research exists concerning why active-duty enlisted noncommissioned officers do not pursue education past a high school diploma. Although higher education is becoming a minimum qualification in the civilian world, only 17% of enlisted servicemembers have higher than a high school degree. The purpose of this study is to explore the lived experiences, beliefs, and awareness of Army education benefits and the disconnect between higher education enrollment and active-duty noncommissioned officers. Authors used an andragogy framework to help undergraduate allied health students better understand social determinants of health (SDOH) using a photo essay assignment. The study examined students’ perceptions of SDOH in various communities, description of health outcomes associated with their chosen SDOH, and lessons learned and suggestions to improve the assignment for future cohorts. Data were extracted from photo essays from 2019–2021 and entered in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis after course completion. การพัฒนาโปรแกรมการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเฉพาะบุคคลเพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะการทำงานของผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันและวิเคราะห์ทักษะการทำงานที่จำเป็นสำหรับผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญาตามความต้องการของหน่วยจ้างงาน 2) พัฒนาโปรแกรมการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเฉพาะบุคคลเพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะการทำงานของผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา 3) ศึกษาผลการใช้โปรแกรม และ 4) นำเสนอคู่มือการใช้โปรแกรม การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบพหุวิธี (Multi methods Disign) แบ่งขั้นตอนการวิจัยเป็น 4 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 วิเคราะห์ทักษะการทำงานที่จำเป็นสำหรับผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญาตามความต้องการของหน่วยจ้างงาน โดยการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มเป้าหมายจำนวน 31 คน ระยะที่ 2 การพัฒนาโปรแกรม มีกลุ่มเป้าหมายจำนวน 19 คน ระยะที่ 3 ตรวจสอบประสิทธิภาพของโปรแกรม ด้วยการใช้การวิจัยเชิงทดลองในรูปแบบ Single Subject Design มีกลุ่มเป้าหมายจำนวน 11 คน และระยะที่ 4 พัฒนาคู่มือการใช้โปรแกรมโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก กลุ่มเป้าหมายจำนวน 10 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ลักษณะการจ้างงานผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญาตามพระราชบัญญัติส่งเสริมและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตคนพิการ พ.ศ. 2550 มี 3 ลักษณะ คือ การจ้างงานคนพิการด้วยมาตรา 33 มาตรา 35 (3) และมาตรา 35 (7) โดยกฎหมายเอื้อประโยชน์ให้คนพิการ ลักษณะงานมีความสอดคล้องกับศักยภาพ ความสำเร็จในการจ้างงานเกิดจากทักษะ ความสามารถ ความชอบ แรงจูงใจ และความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วน ทักษะที่มีความจำเป็นมากที่สุดในการทำงานคือ ทักษะในชีวิตประจำวัน ทักษะสังคม ทักษะอาชีพ และทักษะพื้นฐานหรือทักษะวิชาการ ตามลำดับ ทักษะย่อยที่มีความจำเป็น ได้แก่ การดูแลตนเอง การควบคุมตนเอง การรับข้อมูลและทำตามคำสั่ง และการสื่อสาร 2. โปรแกรมการศึกษานอกระบบโรงเรียนเฉพาะบุคคลเพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะการทำงานสำหรับผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา ประกอบด้วย หลักการพื้นฐาน ข้อมูลพื้นฐานของผู้เรียน เป้าหมายและผลลัพธ์ของโปรแกรม เนื้อหา ระยะเวลาเริ่มต้นและสิ้นสุด กระบวนการเสริมสร้างทักษะการทำงานและแผนกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ ผู้สอนและบทบาทหน้าที่ เทคโนโลยี สื่อ และแหล่งทรัพยากร และ เครื่องมือติดตามความก้าวหน้าและวัดผลความสำเร็จ 3. ผลการทดลองใช้โปรแกรม …

This study used a quasi-experimental design to evaluate the efficacy of integrating XR welding simulations into traditional training programs. The performance outcomes of participants were assessed by an independent American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Instructor (CWI). Participants were evaluated using the NCCER Performance Accreditation Tasks evaluation. After 20 hours of training, the participants used a traditional welder to perform a vertical 3F weld on a steel weld coupon. Three treatment groups were used to evaluate the sequence of extended reality welding simulators in a traditional welding program. This qualitative study focuses on the experiences of adult learner single mothers in college. Specifically, this research sought to understand how student loan debt informs their ability to persist and their well-being. In addition, the study examined the supports single mothers in college receive and the support they need to persist to degree attainment.
