Despite three decades of literature that has explored the gender imbalance of public relations at a professional level, there is a dearth of information addressing if or how these experiences are informed at a collegiate level. Accordingly, this study examines if the gender imbalance impacts students in the upper-level public relations classroom, and the similarities and differences exist between other single-gender dominant programs including nursing and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) using three dimensions (i.e., role strain, teamwork, and overall social environment) as a comparison. The signature pedagogy in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) higher education programs has been criticized for its instructor-centric lecture format and emphasis on the lower tiers of Bloom’s taxonomy (simply memorizing knowledge) at the expense of helping students develop the clinical problem-solving skills required for a lifetime of practice and learning. The purpose of this study was to examine the responses of a cohort of graduate speech-language pathology students to an active learning-oriented swallowing and dysphagia course design. A group of Nepali diaspora members, represented by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), started a campaign in 2009 to establish the Open University of Nepal (OUN) in partnership with the government of Nepal. Their motivation was to develop a quality university for the masses by mobilizing local, diaspora, and international collaborators for producing and disseminating knowledge in the public domain. The university was subsequently established in 2017 but it drifted away from many of the original objectives. Adult Education and pre-service teacher programs have the same goals of program completion, and gainful employment for students who possess the dispositional capacity to be successful in the workplace. งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงอนาคตใช้เทคนิคการวิจัยแบบ EDFR (Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์หลักการ แนวคิด รูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล 2) เพื่อพัฒนาอนาคตภาพรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล และ3) เพื่อนำเสนออนาคตภาพรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล ด้วยการศึกษาเอกสารงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการศึกษาความคิดเห็นจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ กลุ่มตัวอย่างของงานวิจัยทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 27 คน โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การสนทนากลุ่ม และสรุปแนวโน้มอนาคตรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุดดิจิทัล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ผลการวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์หลักการ แนวคิด รูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล แสดงให้เห็นว่า หลักการที่เกี่ยวข้องและสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานมุ่งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ สนับสนุนการจัดการศึกษานอกระบบ ขับเคลื่อนให้บุคคลและสังคมพัฒนาสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต เตรียมความพร้อมของประชากรในการดำรงชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล แนวคิดที่เกี่ยวข้องและสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานเป็นแนวคิดการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบหลากหลายและผสมผสานทั้งการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ส่งเสริมทักษะวิทยาศาสตร์ ผสมผสานการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต 2) ค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัลที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตมี 6 องค์ประกอบสำคัญที่จะนำไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลง ได้แก่ การจัดการเชิงกลยุทธ์ โครงสร้างการบริหาร รูปแบบการบริการความรู้ หลักสูตรค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์และการบริหารหลักสูตร การรับรองคุณภาพ และองค์กอบด้านสุดท้าย คือ เครือข่าย ซึ่งแต่ละองค์ประกอบมีรายละเอียดเนื้อหาย่อยสำหรับการนำไปปฏิบัติจริงตั้งแต่ระดับบริหารจนถึงระดับปฏิบัติการ 3) ผลการนำเสนออนาคตภาพรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล พบว่า แนวโน้มอนาคตภาพรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล มีทั้งหมด 4 แนวโน้ม ได้แก่ 1)ค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตรูปแบบที่ 1: ดิจิทัลไม่พร้อม - คนไม่พร้อม เป็นรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ขาดความพร้อมทั้งเรื่องเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล รวมทั้งการขาดความพร้อมของผู้สอนและผู้เรียน 2) ค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตรูปแบบที่ 2: ดิจิทัลไม่พร้อม – คนพร้อม เป็นรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ขาดความพร้อมเรื่องเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล แต่ผู้สอนและผู้เรียนมีความพร้อม 3)ค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตรูปแบบที่ 3: ดิจิทัลพร้อม – คนไม่พร้อม เป็นรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์มีความพร้อมเรื่องเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล แต่ผู้สอนและผู้เรียนขาดความพร้อม และ 4)ค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตรูปแบบที่ 4: ดิจิทัลพร้อม - คนพร้อม เป็นรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์มีความพร้อมทั้งเรื่องเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล รวมทั้งความพร้อมของผู้สอนและผู้เรียน ซึ่งหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์สามารถนำรูปแบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นไปปรับใช้ได้ตามความเหมาะสมกับลักษณะของบริบทที่แตกต่างกันและให้สอดคล้องกับแนวโน้มอนาคตภาพรูปแบบค่ายวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัล เพื่อความสำเร็จตามเป้าหมายของหน่วยงานในยุคดิจิทัลอย่างมั่นคง ยั่งยืน และส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตอย่างแท้จริง

Person-centered care (PCC) guidelines are being used as a care model to improve health outcomes for residents with impaired cognition. The researcher utilized PCC guidelines to educate caregivers in residential homes to provide care based on the residents’ individualized needs and choices to reduce worsening health conditions and potentially avoidable hospitalizations. The researcher created an educational tool to improve prompt management of health conditions for residents with cognitive impairment and set up a control group (n = 4) and an intervention group (n = 4) to conduct this project. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between performance in simulation used as a learning method in an adult physical rehabilitation and Level II fieldwork. A retrospective cohort research design was utilized to analyze data gathered from occupational therapy student cohorts between 2011-2017 enrolled in an entry-level Masters (MS) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program located in the Midwest United States. This paper provides a chronological overview of the development, implementation, and evaluation of an educational initiative aimed at ensuring internationally-educated occupational therapists are prepared to enter practice in their new country, Canada. The three major phases of the program’s 12-year evolution are described, to distill the key lessons learned at each phase. Data related to the demographics of participants, program content, results of the national examination, registration, and employment outcomes are included. An enhanced understanding of the transition experience of internationally educated occupational therapists provides a strong foundation from which to support internationally-educated colleagues and strengthen the occupational therapy profession.

Occupational therapy students need to develop self-efficacy for therapeutic use of self in practice. This longitudinal study examined Norwegian occupational therapy students’ self-efficacy for therapeutic use of self over a 16-month period and investigated predictors of their end-point self-efficacy. One hundred and eleven students from two universities completed a self-efficacy questionnaire related to the use of self after a workshop, and at 3-month, 10-month, and 16-month follow-up. The students’ self-efficacy development was analyzed with linear mixed effect models, while factors associated with self-efficacy were investigated with linear regressions. In this article, we present results of a study on informal learning about teaching among novice university professors at one university in Spain. The study identified teaching competencies developed through informal learning, strategies of informal learning used, and organizational factors that might foster or hinder the acquisition of teaching competencies. We gathered data through 18 individual interviews with novice university faculty, two focus groups with university professors, a document analysis and a focus group of experts.
