The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship of the relative effects of writing tasks and raters, and the combined impact of the numbers of tasks and raters based on different rating procedures on the dependability of writing score from the perspective of G-theory. A total of 120 Year Six pupils from 10 schools at one of the district in Perak have participated in the study. In generalizability study (G-study), random model partially nested p × (r: t) design is employed. A trend in the decline of proficiency levels, as measured by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS), exists at the sixth grade in both Mathematics and Reading Comprehension across the state of Iowa (Adequate Yearly Progress Statistics (2006–2008) [Data File] Des Moines, IA: Iowa Department of Education). This mixed method study focused on the practices impacting student performance between the fifth grade and the sixth grade. A chapter book set in South Africa written for nine and ten-year old American children. The story is about two boys who are forced to confront the contrasts in each other's lives after a spell causes them to swap bodies. The consequences of this struggle are that the boys develop more self-awareness and compassion for each other.
