Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) is a crucial issue for the internationalization of higher education. In recent years, intercultural online learning has gradually become a new form of internationalization in higher education, which presents both challenges and opportunities for enhancing students' ICC. This study constructs an analytical framework for ICC within the context of online learning, drawing from existing research on ICC and classroom environment theory. Leveraging the "Global Integrated Classroom Learning Survey" by Tsinghua University's Global Integrated Classroom Teaching Research Group, 141 valid samples were collected and analyzed through descriptive statistics and regression analysis. This article presents a teaching approach known as Ignorance-Oriented Instruction (IOI), which views ignorance as both the driving force and the goal of learning. IOI aims to prepare students for an uncertain future by cultivating their ability to learn by delving into their ignorance and making predictions for the unknown. Key principles underlying the practice of IOI, a course designed based on IOI, and A COPE TRAP model for formulating questions are proposed. Empowered teachers believe they can improve their work conditions and positively impact student outcomes. Likewise, teachers with technology integration knowledge can effectively use technology to enhance lessons and improve student learning. This quantitative correlational study investigated teachers’ empowerment, teachers’ technology integration knowledge, and associations between empowerment and technology integration knowledge. Two hundred fourteen randomly selected high school science teachers from across the United States responded to a survey intended to measure empowerment and technology integration knowledge. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบห้องปฏิบัติการเสมือนบนคลาวด์ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐานเพื่อพัฒนาการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ของนักเรียน ก่อนเรียน ระหว่างเรียน และหลังเรียน ด้วยห้องปฏิบัติการเสมือนบนคลาวด์ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐาน 3) เพื่อนำเสนอรูปแบบห้องปฏิบัติการเสมือนบนคลาวด์ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐานเพื่อพัฒนาการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการพัฒนารูปแบบ ได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีและสื่อสารการศึกษา และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ จำนวน 9 คน โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา ได้แก่ นักเรียนที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 40 คน โดยใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แบบประเมินรูปแบบ รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบวัดการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ โดยมีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติเพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลสถิติ One way repeated measure ANOVA ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ที่พัฒนาขึ้น มี 4 องค์ประกอบ คือ ผู้สอน ผู้เรียน เป้าหมายการเรียนรู้ และการวัดและประเมินผล และมีขั้นตอน คือ เลือกปรากฏการณ์ที่น่าสนใจ วิเคราะห์คุณค่าของบทเรียนที่มีอยู่ วางลำดับกิจกรรม และวางแผนตรวจสอบความเข้าใจของผู้เรียน ผลการทดลองใช้รูปแบบห้องปฏิบัติการเสมือนบนคลาวด์ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐานเพื่อพัฒนาการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย พบว่า นักเรียนที่เรียนรู้โดยใช้รูปแบบห้องปฏิบัติการเสมือนบนคลาวด์ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐาน มีคะแนนหลังเรียนสูงกว่า ก่อนเรียนและระหว่างเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

Abstract

This phenomenological research study examined the factors influencing women to pursue an Agricultural Systems Technology (AST) degree and their self-efficacy in that field of study. Two research questions guided this study and data was analyzed from interviewing women enrolled in an Agricultural Systems Technology (AST) program at a mid-western university. The resulting four categories of Agricultural Experiences, Aptitude, Support, and Motivation were broken down into themes. The results were also applied to the theoretical framework of self-efficacy associated with career choice theories. Limitations of scope and generalizability indicate that further investigation of this topic is highly recommended.

The emergency school closures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic impacted students and teachers across the globe. This study explored how the Global Educator Collaborative Facebook group, with over 125,000 members, supported teachers as they adapted to distance learning instruction amid emergency school closures. Introduction. This multi-year, mixed-methods study compares (a) the reasons administrators and librarians of academic libraries invest in assistive technology for delivering information services to students with disabilities, with (b) the benefits that influence these students’ intention to use AT.

Method. In the first phase, 50 library administrators and 22 librarians from 186 public universities across the US shared their top-three reasons for investing in assistive technology through a qualitative survey. In the second phase, 322 students with disabilities from the same institutions completed a quantitative survey, in which respondents shared individual-level benefits that influence their intention to use assistive technology. …
