The Effectiveness Of Using Ai As A Digital Assistant In Problem-Based Learning On Student Learning Outcomes, Fadil Firdian, Afif Rahman Riyanda, Ghea Chandra Surawan, Rafiqa Rizalita

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Digital Assistant in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of PTI Study Program students in the mobile Programming course. The research method uses a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes with a p value = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant influence on learning outcomes. The N-Gain value was 0.543 (Moderate) and the results of sser satisfaction questionnaire were 3.30 (Satisfied). These findings prove that the integration of AI as a digital assistant in PBL is effective in improving learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, and student satisfaction with the use of AI.

This research aims to identify the impact of Minecraft on developing the creative skills of pre-school children. We know games assist students to acquire skills and insight in different ways, that is why the researcher suggested using Minecraft in the activity period of the house’s unit. The current study relied on the quasi-experimental approach, to see how Minecraft has influenced the creative skills of children, by using the note card tool and evaluating the finished products of the houses by using the product evaluation card; this research sample included 23 pre-school children from a kindergarten in Jeddah city.

In online learning spaces, students may feel disconnected not only because of limited interaction but also when they notice differences in their backgrounds or beliefs. This survey study examined students’ perceived differences and their implicit and explicit experiences of othering based on their backgrounds and beliefs. Descriptive results showed that political orientation, culture, and socioeconomic status were common areas where students felt different, while race/ethnicity, culture, and religion stood out as stronger points of distinction. This interpretive phenomenological analysis examines how 13 undergraduate students at a liberal arts college construct meaning from their experiences with artificial intelligence technologies in relation to their career development and life purpose. Guided by an integrated theoretical framework combining Career Construction Theory (Savickas, 2012, 2013) and Transformative Learning Theory (Mezirow, 1991, 2000), the study addresses three research questions: how students describe their AI experiences across educational contexts, what connections they make between those experiences and their developing professional identities, and how they integrate AI experiences into broader narratives about work and purpose.

The dominant narrative about AI in education emphasizes anxiety: jobs lost, skills devalued, futures foreclosed. But survey data reveals a more complex picture. Students and faculty who engage with AI tools see greater possibility and feel less threatened than those who avoid them. Engagement correlates with optimism. This essay argues that community college educators are uniquely positioned to bridge this gap and can play a key role in moving students from anxiety to agency by modeling engaged adaptation themselves. This study evaluates how educators interpret the Multidimensional Framework for Inclusive Literature (MDFIL), a tool for evaluating and selecting multicultural literature for their classrooms. Participants self-identified as current, former/retired, or student teachers, or as undergraduates pursuing a teaching license at the time of the survey. Incorporating multicultural literature into educational settings has a positive impact on children's development. Multicultural literature fosters feelings of acceptance, cultural awareness, and empathy among students. The rapid emergence of Generative AI (GenAI) large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT in higher education has left many institutions unprepared to assess their potential benefits and risks. This mixed-methods study examined how ChatGPT and Google’s NotebookLM were integrated into online course development and delivery at a small private nonprofit university in California, and assessed their perceived impact on student engagement, motivation, and learning.

Mastery learning has been one of the most extensively researched instructional strategies in education, studied continuously since the 1960s. Prior meta-analyses have consistently found positive effects of mastery learning on student learning outcomes, however, none have examined its effectiveness on student achievement explicitly within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

This comprehensive meta-analysis investigated the effectiveness of the mastery-learning instructional strategy on student achievement across STEM disciplines in K-12 and higher-education contexts. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated existing disparities in early intervention (EI) and early childhood special education (ECSE) services for culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) disabled children, exposing critical gaps in access, services and support. systemic inconsistencies in implementation, training, and funding, remain barriers limit opportunities for CLD students to benefit, despite the aims of the Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Act (IDEA). To address these inequities, this manuscript proposes an expanded and updated Culturally Responsive Equity-Based Bill of Rights for EI and ECSE.
