Rater comparison analysis is commonly necessary in the social sciences. Conventional approaches to the problem generally focus on calculation of agreement statistics, which provide useful but incomplete information about rater agreement. Importantly, one-number agreement statistics give no indication regarding the nature of disagreements, nor do they distinguish between agreement on presence versus absence of a state or trait. Latent variable models can address both problems, as well as overcoming other well-documented limitations of agreement statistics (e.g., sample dependence, inappropriate population assumptions). Like other teens in conservative religious environments, LGBTQ+ teens raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (CJCLDS) likely experience unique microaggressions. Furthermore, like other conservatively religious parents of LGBTQ+ teens, active Latter-day Saint (LDS) parents who openly support their LGBTQ+ teens likely both witness microaggressions toward their teens and may personally experience microaggressions. Objectives: This study assessed pre-service teacher stressors, coping strategies, and achievement during teaching practicum in a Nigerian public university.

Method: The study adopted the quantitative case study approach. The population consisted of all 300-level students in the faculty of education in the university who had completed their teaching practicum for the first semester of the 2020–2021 academic session. The quota sampling technique was used in selecting a sample of 130 pre-service teachers. We analysed data using multiple regression.

Results: Findings revealed the stressors and coping strategies, controlling for gender, did not significantly predict achievement in the teaching practicum. Several coping …

Further, it also seeks to know the connection between their understanding and their responses to some situations that required them to discriminate against cases of plagiarism. We used a questionnaire provided by Turnitin. It was distributed to 131 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from various universities in Malang, Indonesia. This article is an attempt to describe RSBI program’s reflection from the former students’ perceptions. The article employed case study research design to explore students’ perceptions with particular emphasis on the use of bilingualism in the classroom. The data were gathered from interview toward 17 former students of RSBI program. The obtained data were analyzed qualitatively and inductively. Results presented RSBI program were perceived diversely from the reason, experience, and expectation viewpoints. Implications portrayed evaluation material in planning future programs that intensify the implementation of international-standards in general, or the use of two languages in the classroom in particular.

This case study aims at analyzing the bilingualism Indonesian-English code mixing in parents’ day-to-day talk toward children’s literacy development in learning English. The areas of analysis in this bilingualism study include code-mixing categories: intra-sentential, intra-lexical, and changing dictions. Further, those areas give impacts to the children’s literacy development. The findings indicate that the parent is a bilingual who used Indonesian and English equally well. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of teacher personality competencies, the curriculum, and the climate of Islamic boarding school on the morals of students in Sulawesi Selatan district, Indonesia. This type of research is a survey with a quantitative approach. Data collection methods using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. Data analysis using descriptive statistical and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the teacher's personal competence, the curriculum, and climate of the Islamic boarding school have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the morals of the students.

Objective: Mindful breathing meditation (MBM) and loving-kindness meditation (LKM) are common components of effective mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs). This study examined the differential effects of MBM and LKM on purported therapeutic process variables and mental health outcomes via component analysis.

Method: The research design was a randomized controlled trial with four conditions: MBM, LKM, combined (MBM + LKM), and a relaxation control. All conditions consisted of 10-min. audio-recorded guided meditations that were self-implemented over the course of two weeks. Participants were college undergraduates (N = 52).
