This study aimed to advance the current literature on the relationship between informant (parent and teacher) perceptions of ADHD symptoms (hyperactivity, inattention) and gender, considering possible gender bias. Previous research demonstrates that there are consistent differences in the prevalence of ADHD between boys and girls in childhood, between girls in childhood versus adult women, and in the sex-ratio between community versus clinical samples. The current literature is mixed regarding what is causing these discrepancies in prevalence of ADHD, particularly about whether gender bias is a contributing factor. This study aimed to contribute to the existing literature by investigating parenting factors that contribute to child emotional regulation (ER). Prior research suggests that while emotion dysregulation is not part of current diagnostic criteria for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), children with ADHD often exhibit greater emotion regulation (ER) difficulties compared to their neurotypical peers. Research focused on parenting has found that parent’s ability to manage their emotions within a parenting context (parenting ER) as well as parenting styles (either positive or negative) are associated with child emotional regulation skills. Cover, Copy, Compare (CCC) has been shown to be an effective intervention at improving single-digit multiplication fluency within the academic intervention literature. The application of the three-term contingency trial embedded within CCC provides the intervention with several key components of evidence-based interventions. Given that teachers across the nation are struggling to find resources to meet current deficits in student mathematics skills, the current study aimed to address this issue by investigating two versions of CCC: Traditional- CCC (T-CCC) and CCC- Answer Only (CCC-AO) through an instructional hierarchy paradigm. Teachers struggle to provide behavior-specific praise (BSP), which is associated with appropriate classroom management and decreases in student’s problem behavior. The current study used a multiple-baseline design across three Head Start teachers to test the effectiveness of the multitiered consultation model in increasing teachers’ BSP. The Head Start center provided a universal training in classroom management strategies, including BSP. Three teachers who were not implementing this strategy consistently (i.e., less than five instances in a 10-min observation) received Tier 2 supports including goal setting paired with a simple prompt. The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) was contracted by the Council of International Schools (CIS) to undertake research investigating how their schools make decisions on pedagogical approaches and to develop a toolkit (published as the ‘Pedagogy Playbook’) to support schools in making those decisions. The project started in May 2022 with initial research conducted by the Klingenstein Center, Columbia University and completed in August 2024 by ACER. In this study, leaders, teachers, parents and students from more than 140 CIS member schools reflected on what matters when it comes to teaching and learning. Continuous-wave functional near-infrared spectroscopy (cw-fNIRS) is a non-invasive brain imaging methodology designed to measure neural activity by detecting hemodynamic responses i.e., adjustments in blood flow and oxygenation to meet the brain’s metabolic needs. Findings on the use of cw-fNIRS by speech-language pathologists (SLP) and neuroscientists to assess cerebral hemodynamic responses during communication assessment and treatment are limited. The purpose of this study was to explore automotive technician and automotive technician educator’s obstacles and expectations they faced during their educational and occupational endeavors. Constructivism and social constructivism were used as theoretical frameworks. Autoethnography was the selected qualitative research method. Using an interpretive process, several convergent topics were identified: education encouraging professional interests, professional obstacles, challenging normalcies, training and educating automotive technicians, the drive for professional certification, bridging the gap between industry and education, experience, patience, and exposure.

A rich theoretical and empirical literature captures experiences of identity conflict and tension at the nexus of identity domains that feel incompatible. The Identity Negotiation Experiences and Strategies (INES) scale was developed to provide a quantitative tool for capturing experiences of identity strain or conflict, and strategies for responding to or managing strain. The present research paper aimed at investigating the differences in attitude towards online psychological experiments across gender (males–females) and culture (Oman – Kuwait), detecting the correlation relationship between attitude and grade point average (GPA). Additionally, it explores the differences in attitudes towards online psychological experiments attributed to gender, academic major, and GPA.
