Grit and mindset are two of the hottest topics in education today, but research on their predictive power for academic success is inconclusive and rife with gaps and limitations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between grit, mindset, self-regulated learning (SRL), and academic outcomes for adult students attending online colleges. This was investigated using data from the Diagnostic Assessment and Achievement of College Skills (DAACS) project, and includes 9,276 undergraduate, mostly adult students from two online institutions in the United States. Comparing Self-Delivered To Instructor-Delivered Reinforcement During Vocational Instruction For Students With Intellectual Disability Using Video Activity Schedules, Katherine Elise White

In this study, an adapted alternating treatments design was used to compare the effectiveness of teaching vocational task when using self-delivered reinforcement versus instructor-delivered reinforcement while using video prompting. Participants consisted of four high school students who had been diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Results indicated that instructor delivered reinforcement was slightly more effective at teaching a vocational task for 2 of the 4 participants. The results of the other 2 participants indicated that both forms of reinforcement delivery were similarly effective.

This qualitative study explored K-12 teacher experiences with school responses to the pandemic that prompted instructors to reconsider the call to teach. Two theories provided a lens through which to view the problem. The Theory of Purpose was applied to analyzing instructors’ original decision to teach. Fortigenesis Theory undergirded the exploration of teacher responses to physical and emotional challenges. Three themes emerged as a result of data analysis: Discontent and Disdain for Post-Pandemic Teaching Practices, Emotional Distance Created by Physical Distance, and Administrative Priorities and Teacher Wellbeing.

Using the self-determination theory framework developed by Ryan and Deci (2000), this study explored the facilitation strategies doctoral candidates used to stay on task during the global pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the prevalence of technology-mediated collaboration and mentorship between dissertation committee members and doctoral student scholars. Qualitative research methods were used to explore the role of technology for collaboration and building community within dissertation committees, focusing on dissertation scholars’ perspectives. The study was based on one overarching research question: How do doctoral students describe the integration of technology for collaborating with dissertation committees? Doctoral scholar participants described the importance of technological literacy within dissertation committees, most indicating that the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the importance of fluency with technology. Stoltz และความสามารถทางอารมณ์ของ Daniel Goleman 2) เพื่อพัฒนากระบวนการชี้แนะชีวิตเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการเผชิญและฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคและความสามารถทางอารมณ์สำหรับผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน 3) เพื่อจัดทำแนวทางสำหรับการนำกระบวนการชี้แนะชีวิตเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการเผชิญและฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคและความสามารถทางอารมณ์สำหรับผู้ใหญ่วัยไปใช้ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) ผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน จำนวน 300 คน 2) ผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงานที่เข้าร่วมกระบวนการชี้แนะชีวิตฯ จำนวน 30 คน 3) ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและตัวแทนจากผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงานที่เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมจำนวน 15 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบประเมินความสามารถในการเผชิญและฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคและความสามารถทางอารมณ์ของผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน แบบสังเกตพฤติดรรมผู้รับการชี้แนะระหว่างการเข้าร่วมกระบวนการ แบบบันทึกรายละเอียดกระบวนการชี้แนะชีวิต วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติบรรยายและการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ส่วนข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์และการวิเคราะห์เอกสารใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและสร้างข้อสรุปแบบอุปนัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การวิเคราะห์เชิงยืนยันองค์ประกอบของความสามารถในการเผชิญและฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคของ Paul G. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์เส้นทางและกระบวนการเรียนรู้นอกระบบโรงเรียนและตามอัธยาศัยสู่การเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพของนายอนันท์ ฐิตาคม 2) เพื่อจัดทำแนวทางพัฒนานักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพโดยใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้นอกระบบโรงเรียนและตามอัธยาศัยจากกรณีศึกษานายอนันท์ ฐิตาคม ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือนาย อนันท์ ฐิตาคม และบุคคลใกล้ชิดที่เป็นเพื่อนร่วมงาน ลูกศิษย์ ผู้ช่วยในสถาบันการสอน The zero one ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับนายอนันท์ ฐิตาคมมากกว่า 5 ปี และยินดีให้ข้อมูลจำนวน 3 ท่าน ดำเนินการวิจัยด้วยระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาโดยใช้ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพที่เก็บรวบรวมจากการใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) เส้นทางและกระบวนการเรียนรู้นอกระบบโรงเรียนและตามอัธยาศัยสู่การเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพของนายอนันท์ ฐิตาคม ประกอบไปด้วย 1) เรื่องราว เหตุการณ์ และปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่ทำให้ไปถึงเป้าหมายการเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพ ได้แก่ เหตุการณ์ที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจการเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพ และปัจจัยสำคัญที่พัฒนาตนเองสู่การเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพ 2) ด้านกระบวนการเรียนรู้นอกระบบโรงเรียน ประกอบไปด้วยกระบวนการที่สำคัญได้แก่ แนวคิดการเรียนรู้จากการปรับเปลี่ยนโมทัศน์ แนวคิดการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ แนวคิดคิดเป็น แนวคิดการเรียนรู้จากการปฏิบัติ เป็นต้น 3) ด้านกระบวนการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัย ประกอบไปด้วยกระบวนการที่สำคัญได้แก่ กระบวนการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง เป็นต้น (2) แนวทางพัฒนานักเขียนการ์ตูนมืออาชีพโดยใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้นอกระบบโรงเรียนและตามอัธยาศัย ประกอบด้วยแนวทางทางปฏิบัติที่วางไว้เป็นแนวทางปฏิบัติ หรือขั้นตอนที่นำพาผู้เรียนไปสู่เป้าหมายของการเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูน 10 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 จุดเริ่มต้นของการเป็นนักเขียนการ์ตูนเกิดจากการที่ผู้เรียนรักการอ่านการ์ตูน ชอบดูการ์ตูน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การเริ่มฝึกฝนเพื่อสร้างพื้นฐานในการเขียนการ์ตูน ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การแสวงหาความรู้เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสและทักษะของตนเอง ขั้นตอนที่ 4 การนำความรู้ที่ได้รับมาปฏิบัติ ฝึกฝน พัฒนาเรียนรู้ ปรับปรุงแก้ไข ขั้นตอนที่ 5 การสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ขั้นตอนที่ 6 การตรวจสอบผลงานที่สร้างสรรค์ ขั้นตอนที่ 7 การปรับปรุงผลงาน ขั้นตอนที่ 8 การหาที่เผยแพร่ผลงาน ขั้นตอนที่ 9 ผลงานได้รับการยอม/ไม่ได้รับการยอมรับ ขั้นตอนที่ 10 นักเขียนการ์ตูนที่ประสบความสำเร็จ

Professional socialization is a phenomenon that occurs as the individual begins to acquire the skills necessary within a given vocation or profession (Bierema, 2010; Merton et al., 1957).
