Professor Emeritus Mike Smith is currently exhibiting photographs at the Tracey Morgan Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The exhibit will run through November 3, 2018. The Lost State of Frankland features a selection of images that span over a decade, including recent works, that are a continuation of his career-long exploration of the character and culture of East Tennessee. Smith has visually investigated one place, remaining aesthetically aware of his surroundings in a manner that has allowed him to beautifully photograph the nuance of Eastern Tennessee over the span of almost 40 years. Through this review we identify a significant gap in our existing knowledge regarding organizational buying behavior in the public sector.
