Introduction: Vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X-linked, autoinflammatory, somatic (VEXAS) Syndrome is a recently recognized adult-onset autoinflammatory disease that can lead to potentially lifethreatening multi-system inflammation with estimated prevalence of up to 1 in 5,000 males over the age of 50. Purpose. Healthcare students may lack the knowledge and confidence to apply research. This study evaluated the impact of immersion in student-academic co-creation and evaluation of a gamified resource on healthcare students’ research knowledge, and confidence.

Method. A qualitative descriptive design was utilised. Student partners contributed to all aspects of design, implementation, and evaluation of the game. Students’ perceptions of this process were evaluated via a group interview and thematic analysis.

Background Epidural anesthesia is a commonly used procedure in obstetrics for managing labor pain, with a potential complication of high neuraxial blockade. Proficiency in performing epidural or spinal anesthesia and promptly recognizing and managing high neuraxial blockade are critical components of anesthesiology residency training. Methods A simulated case was designed involving a 21-year-old female in labor receiving epidural anesthesia. The COVID-19 pandemic presented many challenges for global healthcare systems, requiring rapid training and dissemination of disease management strategies among healthcare professionals. This study conducts a systematic review of 37 studies to examine the learning dissemination methods created and utilized during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on just-in-time training for disease management. This study identifies four core training topics: airway management, infection control, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and patient triage. This study also categorizes delivery methods into in-situ simulation-based training, online e-learning platforms, online simulation-based training, and hybrid training models. Background: Diabetes-related hospital readmissions within 30-days are costly and an indicator of suboptimal care resolution. Nurse-led transitional care interventions may improve glucose control and reduce emergency department recidivism following hospital discharge in very low-income populations.

Methods: An intention-to-treat design with randomization of participants (n = 108) compared conventional care to transitional care coordination that included diabetes specialty appointments, monthly support tele-phone calls, medication management, and tailored diabetes self-management education. Both the control and intervention group received a diabetes specialist and primary care appointment.

Background: The relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and the incidence of myocardial infarction remains a topic of debate. The study aimed to analyze the demographic, clinical, and outcome characteristics of MI patients post-vaccination in India, focusing on differences between Covishield and Covaxin recipients.

Methods: The retrospective observational study included 303 MI patients admitted to a tertiary care center. Data were collected on demographics, comorbidities, vaccination status, ICU admissions, and outcomes. The Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) was used to assess disease severity. Statistical analyses evaluated the associations between vaccination status, clinical parameters, and mortality.
