The need for addressing employee retention in the virtual workforce is critical, particularly in the context of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Region 4. High employee turnover rates can lead to significant disruptions and decreased organizational performance. This administrative case study involved identifying effective strategies to improve retention and engagement among virtual employees. The practice-focused question involved understanding key factors that influenced employee retention and developing actionable recommendations for the GSA. The host police department experienced 58 traffic collisions from 2019-2020, which resulted in adverse outcomes for police officers and community members. The police department seeks a solution to reduce and prevent future collisions. This problem is not an isolated incident, as traffic collisions have been the leading cause of death and injury to police officers in the United States for the last three decades. Student retention at the study site community college had decreased, which negatively impacted funding. Increased student support that incorporates elements of the positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment (PERMA) model could improve retention rates. This mixed-methods case study examined the effectiveness of a mentoring program called the Well-Being Path Program (Path) at the community college, which incorporated elements of Seligman’s PERMA model. The data used for this study consisted of student exit surveys and the community college’s institutional enrollment, retention, and transfer data. This commentary is the personal story of Paula Vigil and common macro practice strategies implemented to pass Ashley’s Law. Ashley was the daughter of Paula and suffered from Rett Syndrome. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that leads to severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of life. Rett particularly affects speech, purposeful hand use, and coordination, leaving individuals understanding more than they can communicate. In 2021, Ashley was raped by her mother’s boyfriend and passed away in the Spring of 2024 due to the trauma and complications of Rett Syndrome. The boyfriend received a sentence of 13 years …

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has been faced with the challenge of having their trained criminal investigators voluntarily leave. This study explored factors that could make these detectives leave the JCF and strategies to retain them. The job embeddedness theory was used to better understand the factors that would make these specialists stay in the JCF. A qualitative single case study design was employed using a purposive sample of 15 participants responding to an anonymous online qualitative survey using Google Forms and 15 redacted exit interview forms completed by former detectives. This study addresses the ability of the client organization to create new programming that is separate from its general fund and is revenue-neutral because the client organization is a conservation district operating under the California Water Code Division 21 Sections 74000-76501. The constraint of California Proposition 13’s property tax rate increases makes it difficult for the client organization to fund new programming. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل تأثير تكامل الاستدامة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي على جودة المعلومات المحاسبية في القطاع المصرفي، حيث تم اختيار عينة من المصارف في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية، وذلك لأنها تعد تقارير الاستدامة بشكل دوري، حيث اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وجمعت البيانات باستخدام استبانة وزعت على 110 المحاسبين والمدققين والمديرين الماليين في تلك المصارف والمحللين الماليين ، حيث تم استرجاع 93 استبانة صالحة للتحليل، بنسبة استجابة بلغت 84.5%، وقد ركزت الاستبانة على قياس تأثير تطبيق استدامة التخطيط الاستراتيجي على تحسين جودة المعلومات المحاسبية، مثل الشفافية والدقة والموثوقية، وأظهرت النتائج أن دمج مبادئ الاستدامة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي يعزز …

This research update of author’s earlier Paper of October 2015 ‘Greater Drogheda: Emerging Demographic Evidence Base for Ireland’s Sixth City’ by reviewing and updating the growth of the Greater Drogheda Area (GDrA). It includes an examination of the fusion of its two largest settlements, Drogheda and fast-growing Laytown, Bettystown, Mornington and Donacarney (LBMD) towns. The scale of Drogheda’s growth is evidenced as a city and not that of the National Planning Framework’s Regional Growth Towns, as the evidence of this Paper will show. The research aims to analyze the relationship between monetary policy tools and the structure of domestic debt in Iraq based on the multiple regression model after testing the stability of the series under study using approved tests based on monthly data (2016-2024). The research reached several conclusions confirming a relationship between the variables. The onset of COVID-19 presented multiple challenges to both governmental and nongovernmental organizations. The selected study site is a nonprofit organization located in a major Southern US City. This organization shelters homeless men. The organization depended on volunteers' assistance in offering short-term and long-term solutions to provide clothing, cleaning, and shelter for homeless men. The organization was facing new challenges due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Equilibrium climate sensitivity modeling relies heavily on paleoclimate records that were affected by meteorite impacts and volcanic explosions. This paper conducts a thought experiment by re-assembling known data and theories to shed new light on anthropogenic carbon waste. Anthropogenic activity, meteorite impacts and volcanic explosions all extract material from the Earth’s crust and deposit it in the atmosphere. This thought experiment tests if the mass of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions from 1851 to 2021 is comparable to the mass of atmospheric emissions from historical planetary events. The study aims to identify the Chinese economy’s economic variables by studying and analyzing exchange rate and export promotion policies as they directly relate to the country and its external environment.
