The Repository Analytics & Metrics Portal (RAMP) is a web service that leverages Google Search Console (GSC) data to provide a set of baseline search engine performance metrics for a global, cross-platform group of institutional repositories (IR). Since launching in 2017, RAMP has grown from 3 to more than 50 participating repositories. The underlying data are unique in scope and size, and offer many opportunities for novel analyses of IR search engine performance. The data may be augmented to enable additional analyses including metadata mining and bibliometrics. In November 2019, the RAMP team released a publicly available subset of the …

INTRODUCTION: When U.S. News & World Report announced that it would rank law schools’ scholarly impact, U.S. News asked law schools to work with HeinOnline, a legal database, to ensure the accuracy of the database-created faculty author profiles because they would be using Hein’s database to gather citation metrics to measure scholarly impact. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM: This practice article describes a project at UNC Chapel Hill in the law library to ensure that their faculty publications were included in HeinOnline’s database and that HeinOnline Author Profiles were accurate. With the SCIE database in the core collection of Web of Science as the data source，TDA，SPSS， VOSviewer，UCINET and other tools，combined with bibliometric analysis，visual analysis，social network analysis and other methods，this paper studied the academic papers of 20 major countries in the field of gene editing from 2004 to 2018 in three dimensions: total，citation and topic.The results show that the research on gene editing has entered a rapid phase，and different countries have different performance in different dimensions.The United States has the largest number of academic papers，and China has the fastest growth rate.China and the United States are the top two countries in …

The implementation of Coastal Carolina University’s Data Management Services program is explored in this presentation. Our library continued to see growth in data management support requests from researchers, so we felt the need to programmatically develop data management services to serve those needs. We assembled a Data Management Services Working Group to examine what types of services were being offered at other M1 institutions. [Purpose/significance]The thesis reviews the evolution of the intelligence analytic methodology and illuminates its development path，which aims at providing reference for the improvement in intelligence analysis.[Method/process]Through the elaboration of methodological evolution，the thesis proceeds to distinguish the national security intelligence analysis from the information analysis，summing up the influence of the analytic methodology on analysis.[Result/conclusion]Intelligence analysis is far more complex than conventional information analysis，while the latter is unable to cope with the intricate issues in national security intellgience analysis.Therefore，new analytic methodology should be constructed on the basis of falsificationism and cognitive psychology.

To provide more affordable course content to our students and faculty, local data on how students perceive textbook expenses and how the costs impact student success would be necessary in order to advocate to faculty and other stakeholders. This survey, conducted at a mid-sized research public institution, aims to explore student perceptions of textbooks and how these perceptions influence academic success. The results reveal that students feel that the cost of required textbooks is unreasonable and that students are more likely to purchase required textbooks for in-major classes than for elective or general education courses.
