The present study aim is to know the information professionals/library professional’s knowledge sharing behaviours and attitudes among the institutes. This study investigated six countries' library professionals: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The study discussed knowledge sharing behaviour, technological equipment used for knowledge management and disseminating the sources of knowledge; academic social networking sites used for sharing the information and knowledge as well as challenges in knowledge management faced by the librarians examined in detail. The implication of the study highlighted the various areas of knowledge management such as training, budget, lack of staff and reward.

Since 2012, the “Open Researcher and Contributor ID” organisation (ORCID) has been successfully running a worldwide registry, with the aim of “providing a unique, persistent identifier for individuals to use as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities”. Any service in the scholarly communication ecosystem (for example., publishers, repositories, CRIS systems, etc.) can contribute to a non-ambiguous scholarly record by including, during metadata deposition, referrals to iDs in the ORCID registry.

These resources are an added advantage for students to get more sources of information for their educational pursuit. However, there was an observation that most students are not using these resources as expected. The purpose of this study is to examine the papers published in the ASLIB Journal of Information Management between 2014 to 2021. The Scopus database was chosen for bibliographic data extraction. The VOSviewer software was used to visualize the research results using network maps. During the research period, 311 papers with 2534 citations were discovered. The publication trends of the ASLIB Journal of Information Management have been identified using a variety of bibliometric variables. The study employs survey research design and questionnaire instrument was used to elicit responses from200 respondents. As awareness and acceptance of trans and gender diverse people grows, scholarly publishing has seen a movement to support trans authors through inclusive name change policies. This work mainly happens through trans scholars approaching publishers and requesting these changes. Sometimes this results in a new policy that supports the authors and protects them from being outed to co-authors and readers; other times, the policies are less than ideal or do not change at all. The present paper identifies and presents a visual analysis of Research Data Management (RDM) literature published by Indian researchers and indexed in Scopus – the bibliographic and citation database. The researchers have used standard bibliometric methods of measurements to conduct the study such as Bradford’s law, Lotka’s law and Zipf’s Law among other parameters.
