Overview

The Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978, as amended, 44 U.S.C. §§ 2201-2209, governs the official records of Presidents and Vice Presidents created on or received after January 20, 1981. The PRA changed the legal ownership of the official records of the President from private to public.

The PRA established a new statutory structure under which Presidents must manage their records. The Presidential Records Act:

Citation indices are tools used by the academic community for research and research evaluation that aggregate scientific literature output and measure impact by collating citation counts. Citation indices help measure the interconnections between scientific papers but fall short because they fail to communicate contextual information about a citation. The use of citations in research evaluation without consideration of context can be problematic because a citation that presents contrasting evidence to a paper is treated the same as a citation that presents supporting evidence. Graphic novels have been recognized by many professionals, researchers, and educators as a major factor in increasing student engagement. The purpose of this research is to analyze a middle school library's statistical data before and after the addition of graphic novels into the library collection. The study also analyzes the growth of scholarly literature related to graphic novels and school libraries. The compilation of this research should provide insight to school librarians, teachers, administrators, and researchers on the value and successes associated with the inclusion of graphic novels in the school library collection.

The aim of this paper is to quantitatively analyze the volume and publication pattern of research in the field of biotechnology in Nigeria. A bibliometric analysis was carried out on documents related to biotechnology research in Nigeria published from 1988 – 2018 and indexed in SCOPUS database. The analysis results reveal an increase in biotechnology research in Nigeria since 1988, and the University of Ibadan is the most productive institution in terms of publications. The trend of biotechnology research in Nigeria portends growth in the future.

The paper aims to present the implementation of the RDA research data policy framework in Slovenian scientific journals within the project RDA Node Slovenia. The activity aimed to implement the practice of data sharing and data citation in Slovenian scientific journals and was based on internationally renowned practices and policies, particularly the Research Data Policy Framework of the RDA Data Policy Standardization and Implementation Interest Group.
