The study evaluated the effects of job stress on job performance of librarians in selected public university libraries in Nigeria. It employed descriptive research design with the population of two hundred and sixty (260) librarians from all the public university libraries in South West, Nigeria. A questionnaire on the survey of job stress and effects on job performance of librarians was raised and validated. The reliability of the instrument was ascertained using Cronbach Alpha reliability to estimate the internal consistency of the instrument. The proliferation of electronic information resources (EIRs) has transformed modern libraries, as they provide convenience and remote access, they also disrupt traditional library spaces and services. This critical review examines library management tactics regarding EIRs, weighing two approaches:1) attempting to bring back on-site users through enhancing physical spaces and embedding librarians in courses, versus 2) following remote users by developing robust virtual reference and embedded librarianship. The study investigated the era of ICT competencies and job performance of librarians in some selected university libraries in North Central of Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consists of 171 professional and para professional librarians from Francis Sarwuan Tarka University library and Benue State University library. This paper explained the influence of technological readiness on adoption of artificial intelligence technology, using data collected through Google form from 52 librarians in Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design and adapted the Technological Readiness Index 2.0 to design structured questionnaire on level of technological readiness among librarians in Nigeria. In addition, data was collected on demographic factors and prevalent artificial intelligent technologies adopted by the librarians. The article presents findings on the usage, demographics, and correlation of Academic Social Networking Sites (ASNSs) among faculties in Bangalore University and Tumkur University. The study found that there is a high level of usage of ASNSs and Social Networking Sites (SNSs) among faculties in both universities, with slight gender and subject-wise variations in their usage. The study also investigated the awareness and usage of various ASNSs and SNSs, finding that ResearchGate and Academia.edu are more commonly used ASNSs among faculties compared to SNSs.
