A hemangioma is a benign vascular neoplasm, relatively common in the head and neck. In the oral region, it affects the tongue, gums, mucosa, palate, and lip. Its size can vary from millimeters to centimeters, characterized as a purplish or reddish lesion. The present study aims to present two clinical cases of hemangiomas, the first of a male patient treated by sclerotherapy and the second of a female patient in which she was treated with ethamolin and later surgical treatment. Objective: The objective was to evaluate cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) indications and distribution in pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Methods: A total of 1013 CBCT images were reviewed in detail from the electronic patient database. The patient’s age, gender, CBCT indications and acquisition sites, referral departments, reason for referral, incidental findings in the imaging field and the presence of artifacts in the CBCT images were all recorded. Cancer chemotherapy compromises the patient’s oral health through dysbiosis of oral microbiota and increases the prevalence of dental cavities, gingivitis, oral mucositis, and xerostomia. This research aimed to evaluate the effect of a common chemotherapeutic agent, Fluorouracil (5-FU), on certain microorganisms that are common within the oral cavity. Varying concentrations (50 μM, 75 μM and 100μM) of 5-FU were used to simulate the dosage that reaches the oral cavity after intravenous delivery. Osteomas are frequently reported in the maxillofacial region with much lower incidences in the maxillary and sphenoid sinuses. An unerupted third molar within the maxillary sinus coexisting with a maxillary sinus osteoma is an extremely rare pathologic finding. Such cases can be managed endoscopically or intraorally through a Caldwell-Luc approach. The following case report deals with a patient who presents with an uncommon pathological finding: an osteoma embedding an ectopic tooth within the maxillary sinus.

Objectives: To investigate the response of primary human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) to self-adhesive resin cement (SARC) extracts. Methods: Two types of SARCs, RelyXTM U200 (RX) and Maxcem EliteTM Chroma (MC), were polymerized using various curing methods (light-cured, light-cured through 1- or 2-mm zirconia, and self-cured) (n=9/group). HGFs were exposed to cement extracts at different concentrations. Treated HGFs were assessed for cell viability, vitality, wound healing, and gene expression at different time points.
