Interruptions during dental treatment are frequent, and often have detrimental effects on quality of care, patient safety and processing times, and have an impact on provider satisfaction and performance. Interruptions can significantly increase the cognitive load on dental providers, making it hard for them to concentrate on complex procedures. Frequent interruptions also disrupt the workflow in general, leading to delays in treatment, which can reduce the overall throughput of a clinic. The construction industry is associated with risks that can result in musculoskeletal diseases. Although young male workers who are presumed to be healthy dominate the industry in Tanzania, body pain complaints have been widely reported. The aim of this study is to assess the prevalence and causes of body pains in workers. A cross-sectional study involving 396 workers was conducted. A chi square test was used for testing association of independent categorical variables and binary logistic regression analysis was used to determine predictors for body pain complaints. The project focused on the production of bio-fertilizer from fruit and garden waste, with a specific emphasis on utilizing pineapple tops in the composting process. The objective was to produce and assess the properties of the bio fertilizer obtained from this process and evaluate its potential application in agriculture. In this study, the composting process was done in a 0.7 m long, 0.85 wide and 1.1 m high vessel, and 0.238 m3 pineapple top wastes, resulting in 0.35 m3 of biofertilizer. The high prevalence of dental caries among children and adolescents, especially those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, is a significant nationwide health concern. Early prevention, such as dental sealants and fluoride varnish (FV), is essential, but access to this care remains limited and disparate. In this research, a national dataset is utilized to assess sealants' reach and effectiveness in preventing tooth decay, particularly focusing on 2nd molars that emerge during early adolescence, a current gap in the knowledge base. Protecting public health from infectious diseases often relies on the cooperation of citizens, especially when self-care interventions are the only viable tools for disease mitigation. Titanium alloys are vital to the structural integrity of military and commercial aircraft, comprising numerous critical components. These components are composed of microtexture regions (MTRs) that, at a specific size and orientation, can lead to aircraft failure. Existing MTR testing methods, such as Electron Backscatter Diffraction, often fall short in effectively detecting these MTRs without causing damage to the component. Given that roofing contractors in the construction industry have the highest fatality rate among specialty contractors, understanding the root cause of incidents among roofers is critical for improving safety outcomes. This study applied frequency analysis and decision tree data-mining techniques to analyze roofers’ fatal and non-fatal accident reports. The frequency analysis yielded insights into the leading cause of accidents, with fall to a lower level (83%) being the highest, followed by incidence sources relating to structures and surfaces (56%). In the mining industry, accurate monitoring of the elemental composition in the flotation froth is crucial for efficient minerals separation. The hybrid deep learning algorithms offer powerful computational intelligence for real-time monitoring of froth quality in flotation processes. การศึกษานี้มุ่งเน้นการแก้ปัญหาการจัดส่งอาหารแบบพลวัต โดยที่คำสั่งซื้อเข้ามาในระบบแบบพลวัตและต้องจัดส่งถึงลูกค้าภายในกรอบเวลาที่กำหนด โดยใช้ยานพาหนะที่มีความจุจำกัดสำหรับการจัดส่ง เป้าหมายหลักคือการลดระยะทางในการขนส่งทั้งหมดให้น้อยที่สุด พร้อมกับตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าได้ทันเวลา ผู้เขียนได้นำเสนอวิธีการแก้ปัญหาที่ประกอบด้วย 2 ขั้นตอนหลัก คือ 1. การจัดกลุ่มคำสั่งซื้อ คือทำการจัดกลุ่มคำสั่งซื้อตามเวลาที่คำสั่งซื้อเข้ามาและกรอบเวลาการจัดส่ง และ 2. การปรับเส้นทางสำหรับแต่ละกลุ่มคำสั่งซื้อ จะทำการคำนวณเส้นทางการจัดส่งที่เหมาะสมที่สุด โดยใช้โมเดลปัญหาการจัดเส้นทางการขนส่งแบบมีกรอบเวลา วิธีการนี้ได้รับการประเมินโดยการทดลอง ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่ากรอบเวลาการตัดสินใจ หรือช่วงเวลาที่ใช้ในการจัดกลุ่มคำสั่งซื้อ มีผลกระทบต่อผลลัพธ์ หากกรอบเวลาการตัดสินใจแคบลง จะต้องใช้จำนวนยานพาหนะที่มากขึ้นเมื่อเทียบกับกรอบเวลาที่กว้างขึ้น แต่จะช่วยลดเวลาเฉลี่ยที่ลูกค้าต้องรอได้ ในขณะที่กรอบเวลาที่กว้างขึ้น ช่วยให้สามารถรวมคำสั่งซื้อหลายรายการไว้ในเส้นทางการจัดส่งเดียวกันได้มากขึ้น ซึ่งอาจลดต้นทุนระยะทางการเดินทางลงได้ อย่างไรก็ตาม หากกรอบเวลากว้างเกินไป อาจส่งผลให้ระยะทางเพิ่มขึ้น เนื่องจากช่วงเวลาระหว่างการตัดสินใจและเวลาจัดส่งที่กำหนดไว้น้อยเกินไป จนทำให้เกิดการเพิ่มรอบขนส่งอาหาร

การจัดสมดุลสายการประกอบแบบขนานที่ประกอบด้วยพนักงานปกติ ผู้พิการ ผู้สูงอายุ และหุ่นยนต์ Cobot โดยการพิจารณาทุกฟังก์ชันวัตถุประสงค์ไปพร้อมๆกันจัดเป็นปัญหาเอ็นพีแบบยาก (NP-Hard) ที่มีความยุ่งยากและซับซ้อนของปัญหาดังนั้น จึงต้องพิจารณาใช้วิธีการแก้ปัญหาแบบฮิวริสติก (Heuristic) และเมตาฮิวริสติก (Meta-Heuristic) มาช่วยในการแก้ปัญหา งานวิจัยนี้ได้มีการนำเสนอพนักงานหลายทักษะซึ่งจะมีข้อจำกัดแตกต่างกันไป โดยจะมีพนักงานปกติ พนักงานผู้พิการ และพนักงานผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อจะดูว่าการใช้พนักงานประเภทต่างๆจะมีผลกระทบต่อประสิทธิภาพของสายการประกอบอย่างไร งานวิจัยนี้ใช้วิธีเชิงพันธุกรรมแบบการจัดลำดับที่ไม่ถูกครอบงำในการพัฒนาหาคำตอบของฟังก์ชันวัตถุประสงค์ ซึ่งเป็นการจำลองสายการประกอบโดยฟังก์ชันวัตถุประสงค์ประกอบด้วย 1) ประสิทธิภาพของสายการประกอบมากที่สุด 2) พลังงานไฟฟ้าที่หุ่นยนต์หรือ Cobot ใช้ในการทำงานน้อยที่สุด และ 3) ความแตกต่างด้านการใช้พลังงานของพนักกงงานน้อยที่สุด ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าการใช้ Cobot สามารถลดภาระงานของพนักงาน โดยเฉพาะงานที่ต้องการความแม่นยำหรือทักษะเฉพาะทาง และเพิ่มความยืดหยุ่นให้กับสายการประกอบ นอกจากนี้ การกระจายภาระงานระหว่าง Cobot และพนักงานจะช่วยลดการใช้พลังงานเฉลี่ยต่อ Cobot และทำให้การใช้งานพลังงานของพนักงานมีความสมดุลมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้ความแปรปรวนของภาระงานลดลง และการจัดสมดุลพลังงานในสายการประกอบมีความสมดุลมากขึ้น กล่าวโดยสรุปก็คือ Cobot มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและความยืดหยุ่นของสายการประกอบ พร้อมช่วยลดข้อจำกัดด้านแรงงานและพลังงานได้อย่างชัดเจน
