There has been considerable research that establishes the need to improve teachers’ knowledge of and ability to effectively implement response to intervention (RtI)/multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and there is a scarcity of research examining interventions addressing these concerns. In a mixed methods study, we examined the perceptions and knowledge of the RtI/MTSS frameworks of undergraduate preservice teaching candidates enrolled in a dual certification program at a small, private Catholic university in Kentucky, before and after participating in a semester-long, experiential learning project. This study aimed to investigate the effect of using flipped learning on developing students’ skills of using the interactive whiteboard program. The research methodology was based on a quasi- experimental research design. The sample consisted of 33 students in the control group and 34 in the experimental group, who were enrolled in an introductory educational technology course (TECH3007) at Sultan Qaboos University. The data collection instruments included an achievement test and an observation checklist. The study aimed to explore the reality of Saudi learner’s acceptance of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platforms in the Light of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A descriptive approach was utilized, and 1583 learners participated in the survey. The results indicated that the majority of Saudi learners accepted MOOCs platforms represented by Doroob and agreed that it provides them with the desired benefit at a rate of 85.4%. The purpose of this project is to provide an easier and more engaging way for study abroad students to document their experiences. I wanted to collect data on the effectiveness of student journaling while abroad, and identify ways to improve the process through a mobile application.

Ramble is a social app I designed that provides a new question or prompt each day to encourage more frequent, fun journaling while traveling, and connection with others at home and abroad. Ramble solves problems that accompany traditional journaling by making the journaling process more accessible and requiring less time from the user.

The purpose of this study was to better understand how the current COVID-19 global health pandemic has professionally and emotionally impacted elementary-level teachers. Teachers experienced diverse challenges during this unprecedented time with a rapid shift from in-person to online learning. Two overarching themes emerged based on participant experiences: abandoning best practices and increased stress and emotional pain. Implications for practice included the need for school leaders to evaluate the current level of support being provided to teachers and assess areas of need to support professional and emotional growth with the backdrop of the pandemic.
