هدف المقال إلى تقصي أثر استخدام تعليم الوسائط التعليمية في تدريس مادة العلوم لطلاب المرحلة الثانويه بولاية الخرطوم. استخدمت الدراسة البحث الوصفي التحليلي بتوزيع استبانة على عينة الدراسة والمتمثلة في مدرسي مادة العلوم للعام الدراسي 2022/2023. اظهرت النتائج أنّ المتوسط الحسابي لأثر استخدام وسائط التعليم على تحصيل الطلبة في المرحلة الثانوية في مادة العلوم في الخرطوم كان مرتفع بدرجة (3.69) مشيرة إلى أن وسائط التعليم يزيد في تحفيز الطلبة ويسهل الوصول إلى الموارد التعلمية المفيدة، وكما له مساهمات قيّمة لا منهجية وتساعد الوسائط التعليمية في تحقيق أهداف التعلم بشكل أكبر ويثري المعرفة لدى المعلمين وكما يعزز رضا الطلبة وسعادتهم ويحسن …

Research has demonstrated that pre-service teachers (PSTs) can learn to notice students’ thinking in sophisticated ways by analyzing videos of classroom interactions. What is less clear is how PSTs use what they notice about student thinking to inform how they respond. Secondary math and science PSTs from three teacher preparation programs were invited to analyze a video clip identifying noteworthy moments of student thinking and describing an instructional move they might make and why. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, experiential learning for health care professional programs struggled to find clinical rotation sites and provide students in the didactic curricular phase opportunities to apply health education outside of the classroom. Many healthcare sites and community health screening events were prohibited during an extended period of time due to pandemic isolation. As a health educator, exploration of remote experiential learning took creative planning to ensure students were able to apply their medical knowledge in real-life situations, give back to their community according to Marianist charisms, and fulfill healthcare-related volunteer service hour requirements.

Yet, research on what professionalism “means” to chefs, and how they “make sense” of it, is currently underexplored. The purpose of this qualitative pilot study was to investigate the perceptions of educators regarding appropriate social media practices. Specific elements of appropriate social media use by teachers investigated include understanding of acceptable use policies and freedom of speech, the relationship between social media and professional development, and best practices for educators concerning their social media usage. Purposeful, convenience, and snowball sampling were used to select study participants. This dissertation was inspired by the researcher’s own experiences as a K-8 teacher. Reflecting on her struggles with classroom management and meeting the social and emotional needs of students who had experienced trauma, the researcher chose to take a hermeneutic phenomenological approach to studying Illinois elementary school teachers’ self-efficacy and motivation with regard to social and emotional learning (SEL) as influenced by community, district, and school level factors as well as the teachers’ own beliefs and practices. Applying lessons learned throughout the global COVID-19 pandemic, this chapter considers the shift from the necessary but reactionary adjustment to a virtual learning environment toward an intentional use of online learning in honors courses. Specifically, this chapter draws on my own experience teaching an honors course entitled “Issues in Music History: Music and Gender.” This course was developed in December of 2019 as a face-to-face class for non-major honors students with a focus on discussion, writing, and teamwork via a final project.
