This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a story-based counseling program in developing spiritual intelligence skills among first-grade students in the Sultanate of Oman. The researchers adopted a quasi-experimental approach and applied tools including a spiritual intelligence scale and a specially designed counseling program to achieve the study’s objectives. The study sample consisted of 48 male and female students from Ibra Basic Education School, randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group (22 students) who received the counseling program consisting of 12 sessions over six weeks, and a control group (26 students) who did not receive any intervention. This study examined how educators and families perceive and experience the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and its influence on student attendance, engagement, well-being, and school climate within one public school division. While prior research has established quantitative links between universal meal programs and academic outcomes, limited research has explored how stakeholders interpret and experience these effects in practice. Addressing this gap, this study employed a convergent mixed-methods design, integrating archival attendance data, surveys, and semi-structured interviews with principals, assistant principals, teachers and families. The purpose of this research was to describe principals’ leadership behaviors that are perceived to positively influence academic achievement among students who identify as minority and low socioeconomic status and are attending or have attended urban school districts with high concentrations of the identified population. This study examined whether a brief, consistent morning meditation practice could meaningfully influence educators' daily experiences in private schools across South Florida. Teachers often carry a heavy combination of cognitive load, emotional labor, and time pressure, which can erode both productivity and well-being. To explore whether mindfulness could offer practical support in these areas, a 30-day intervention was implemented in which educators engaged in a 15-minute guided meditation each morning before the start of their workday. The purpose of the study was to determine whether this routine produced measurable changes in perceived stress and daily productivity.

This phenomenological study exposes the complex cognitive and organizational processes school leaders navigate as they translate high-stakes state mandates into localized action. By examining the implementation of Virginia’s revised Standards of Accreditation and Accountability (SOA), this study challenges the prevailing managerial paradigm that views policy implementation as a linear, mechanical execution of directives. Instead, grounded in sensemaking theory and SDT, this research conceptualizes implementation as a situated and interpretive act shaped by leaders’ prior experiences, beliefs, and psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness.

Using the American Association of Community Colleges leadership competencies, the study analyzed how mid-level leaders rated the importance of leadership tasks and their ability to perform them. It also compared results by gender, race or ethnicity, years in the role, district type, and preferred professional development methods.
