This study investigates the effect of religious-related attributes in social media promotion materials towards Muslim consumers’ behavioural intention, with consumer’s offensiveness mediating. Theories are applied to a case where Hanamasa Indonesia’s promotion materials were treated with skeptical e-WOMs since a customer revealed her experience was contrast to what appears visually and audibly on the restaurant’s social media posts. This quantitative study utilized 204 samples in a SEM (structural equation modelling) analysis and resulted: 1) visual attributes cause negative e-WOM indirectly, 2) consumer’s offensiveness mediates visual attributes on social media promotion materials to cause negative e-WOM, 3) consumer’s responsiveness mediates visual …

This study aims to analyze the effect CEO education, board gender diversity, and firm’s financial dimension on CSR disclosure. The sample used in study includes 22 publicly listed manufacturing firms in the Indonesia Stock Exchange that disclosed their ESG scores during the period of 2015 until 2019. This research used panel data which was later run using fixed effects model data. The result explains that both firm size and CEO education positively impact CSR disclosure at manufacturing firms and the impact is significant.

The aim of this study is to examine academic publications related to tourism and humor by using bibliometric analysis method. Research data were collected using the Elsevier Scopus bibliometric database. In this context, 90 data, including articles, papers and book chapters at international level, were found in the search carried out on Scopus. Maxqda 2022 package program was used to analyze and visualize the obtained data. As a result, it was observed that publications on tourism and humor were relatively few between 1989 and 2007, and an increase in the number of publications between 2019-2022. Purpose

Although research analyzing the consequences of salesperson social media use in driving sales behaviors and performance outcomes has proliferated in the recent past, there are significant research gaps in the domain. Grounded in task-technology fit theory, this paper aims to propose a conceptual framework that integrates between previously disjointed areas of research and analyzes the relationships between salesperson social media use, brand awareness, creativity, manager empowerment and company performance.

Design/methodology/approach

Survey responses were collected from a multi-industry sample of 158 business-to-business salespeople. Structural relationships were tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling.

Understanding the drivers of hotel guest satisfaction and dissatisfaction is basic for hotel managers. In this research, we use a large database of more than 30,000 reviews that were posted on TripAdvisor to investigate this issue. We use Power BI to assign a sentiment score to each review and to extract the main phrases from them. This allows us to create two datasets of words and phrases (one derived from the reviews of satisfied guests and one derived from the reviews of dissatisfied guests) in order to compare them. Purpose:

The study strives to find out how the purchase intentions (PI) of millennials consumer in Pakistan are affected by electronic word-of-mouth impacts.

Design/methodology/approach

To fulfill that purpose, three EWOM determinants - quantity, quality, and valence are chosen. Whereas Brand image (BI) and perceived Quality (PQ) are taken as mediators. The paper adopts a Quantitative approach to survey 169 Karachi respondents. Inferential analysis of collected data was performed using PLS version 4.0. Purpose—This study examines how consumers’ self-construal moderates their buying behavior in situations requiring consumers to buy larger-than-expected clothing sizes. We explore the potential effectiveness of two distinct communication strategies - emotional versus informational ad appeals - to mitigate the negative effects of sizing discrepancies.

Design/methodology/approach—A total of three experiments were conducted to examine the proposed framework. Studies 1 and 2 investigate whether self-construal moderates the relationship between sizing discrepancy and purchasing intentions. Study 3 examines the effectiveness of communication strategies in reducing the detrimental effects of sizing discrepancy.
