Purpose

The purpose of this paper is to understand the role of identity-based relationships, customer brand identification and peer identification, in driving customer outcomes including customer experiential hedonic value, social influence and repurchase intentions through the effects on value co-creation among customers and competitor brand hate, while taking into consideration the moderating impact of individualism.

Design/methodology/approach

The study integrates social identity theory, identity-based marketing perspective and self-construal theory to develop relationships. The data comprises a web-based survey of customers in the USA and was analyzed using structural equation modeling.

JOHNSON CITY (April 20, 2021) – East Tennessee State University recently received full accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education to offer its Master of Social Work (MSW) program fully online.

Previously, the MSW program has been offered on-ground on ETSU’s main campus and at distance sites in Asheville, North Carolina, and Abingdon, Virginia. JOHNSON CITY (April 16, 2021) – Over the last 20 years, dozens of extinct animal species have been identified from the five-million-year-old ecosystem of the Gray Fossil Site, including famous large mammals like tapirs, rhinos and mastodons. But in recent years, researchers have been uncovering more information about the small mammals of the site. Now, thanks to a new study published in the journal Eastern Paleontologist, science has its first look at the Gray Site’s fossil rabbits, the oldest known rabbits in the Appalachians.
