從當代電影看亞洲跨性別人士的困局, Nga Man Wong

「跨性別」指所表現的行為與社會期待下的原生理性別不一致之個體，猶如將對的靈魂裝在錯的身體裏。本文選取了三部以跨性別為題材的當代電影分析亞洲地區跨性別人士的現況，包括由王育麟導演執導的台灣電影《阿莉芙》、李駿碩導演執導的香港電影《翠絲》和陳立謙導演執導馬來西亞電影《迷失安狄》，三地在性別平權的進度上亦有較大的差異。三位導演都是當地的華人，以華人的角度出發，更深入分析和呈現每一個地方的民眾對跨性別的看法。本文通過分析電影敘事與電影語言如何帶出亞洲跨性別人士所需面對的困境和狀況，包括在宗教、家庭、職場等方面細看跨性別人士在不同階段所面對的困難。

封建禮教的束縛與女性意識 : 從《浮生六記》中的陳芸談起, Yiu Man Chow

本文集中以女性意識的角度，闡發《浮生六記》裡陳芸的傳統女子形象、現代性表現及兩者的兼容性，藉此剖析傳統禮教對女性形象的束縛及現代女性意識1的覺醒。除前言以外，第二節「封建禮教下的女性角色」，主要論述傳統社會對不同女性角色的影響；第三節「個性解放的女性意識及推動因素」，寫陳芸女性意識覺醒的體現及推因素；第四節則以「女性意識萌發與封建社會的對立」為題，分析陳芸所處社會的限制，剖析封建禮教對女性意識的迫害。第五節為結語。全文最後歸結出《浮生六記》裡，陳芸在封建社會下確有女性覺醒的萌芽，雖難抵傳統教育與社會環境的侵蝕，也對女性實現自主獨立具有積極意義。

論「黛玉之死」的苦和悲劇美, Lim Long Ng

林黛玉為《紅樓夢》重要人物之一。小說中黛玉出自書香世家，生性聰敏，自小讀書識字，極具詩才。母親早逝，由外祖母接至賈府照顧，和表兄寶玉一同在賈府長大，展開悲劇的一生。《紅樓夢》為一部悲劇著作，以「情」為主題，寫大觀園一眾女子的故事，曹雪芹於小說中暗示「千紅一哭」、「萬豔同悲」，令主題統一，故作者安排黛玉一個「悲」的結局，在藝術手法上為合理的。黛玉因情轉世，亦因情而亡，作為小說中的悲劇人物，於情節安排以及主題發揮上，扮演重要角色。

黛玉最終的結局，因版本不一與「紅樓夢未完」之故，歷年來一直備受爭議。然而，各家之言，皆一致認為黛玉的生命，始於不幸，終於虛無，黛玉承受的痛苦多而深，於小說的悲劇美學上，存有很高的價值。本文以「黛玉之死」為題，首先綜合歷來各學者之說法和版本，選其最佳者作研究對象，繼而從情節和詩詞中，分析黛玉的身世、體質、性格、命運，以窺探其早夭的原因與死亡的痛苦。

論蘇偉貞女性眷村小說「封閉」的意義, Yee Lam Tseng

眷村第二代作家蘇偉貞在八零年代因作品多以男女情愛為主，被批評缺乏討論現實問題。筆者認為，蘇偉貞雖然表面上聚焦男女情慾的問題，但是其小說的核心關懷實爲探討第一代眷村女性在臺灣歷史中「失語」的困境，並藉此思考第二代女性放下歷史包袱、勇於走出「封閉」眷村的可能性。故本論文主張蘇偉貞從其眷村小說《有緣千里》開始探討眷村內部的女性議題，並在臺灣解嚴後出版的小說中《離開同方》正式為族群的女性發聲。

本論文以這兩部小說作為研究對象，首先討論蘇偉貞寫作時的「封閉」狀態，並延伸分析小說中兩代眷村女性所面臨的困境。第三章將藉分析兩代女性「封閉」的內心世界，探討第一代眷村女性在臺灣歷史中「失語」的困境以及第二代女性逃離的慾望。第四章則反思兩代眷村女性如何通過追尋自我，尋找走出這個「封閉」世界的意義。

In contemporary China, demographers estimate that 30 million men are single because there are simply not enough women in the Chinese population, and the 2020 Chinese census shows that there are 34.9 million more men than women. These men are called guanggun, which can be directly translated to “bare sticks/branches,” a slur that indicates a lack of marriage and sex. In this project, I demonstrate that guanggun’s singlehood marks them as the marginalized at the intersection of heteronormativity, patriarchy, globalizing capitalism, and pronatalist governmentality. This paper explores the concepts of "Border Culture" and "Borderlands" by Gloria Anzaldúa in Soy la Avon Lady and Other Stories, Homicide Survivors Picnic and Other Stories, by Lorraine López and the novel Mijito Doesn’t Live Here Anymore by Jaime Martínez. The paper argues that the Mexican American character in the southeast of the United States lives in the "Borderlands" and practices a "Border Culture" because they don't follow the traditional stereotypical role of the Mexican American character within the literary canon of both the dominant culture and Chicana/o literature.

The past 3 years of the COVID-19 global pandemic has seen a rise in anti-Asian racism and hate. However, in Ohio, where Asians make up only 2.2% of the population, there is little visibility for Asians and Asian Americans. 論曹文軒兒童文學作品裏「身體受虐」對兒童本位觀的體現, Qianyi Luo

曹文軒，1954年出生在江蘇省鹽城市，2016年獲得安徒生獎，該獎素有諾貝爾兒童文學獎的美譽。其創作的兒童文學作品有《草房子》、《細米》、《青銅葵花》等，作品善於觀察兒童的生活，用詩意的語言和悲憫情懷展現兒童生活悲傷和苦難的一面。大多學者研究曹文軒作品的語言技巧和主旨思想，或人物形象的塑造，缺乏從創作理念的角度切入論述，亦欠缺人物的身體書寫分析。

本文以曹文軒作品裏的兒童身體受虐為研究對象，以兒童本位觀的創作理念對照分析。第一章為緒論，分別説明本文之寫作緣起、兒童文學領域對兒童本位觀和身體敘事的研究，及本文採用的研究方法；第二章以曹文軒作品中疾病、殘疾和死亡三種身體受虐形式，探討它們如何與兒童本位觀的創作視角、兒童價值和個體意義三個層面相呼應；第三章承接上章從曹文軒作品內部對於身體書寫和兒童本位觀的分析，擴大至各個時期兒童文學對於兒童本位觀的接受——先從五四時期的兒童的發現開始，後闡釋各個時期對於兒童視角和成人視角的選擇。第四章為結論，整合全文中心要點。

伏爾泰《中國孤兒》對中國傳統的重塑, Yuk Na Ying

一七五五年，伏爾泰把紀君祥的元雜劇《趙氏孤兒》改寫為《中國孤兒》，並在劇本中重塑中國傳統。本文剖析《中國孤兒》之劇本，探析伏爾泰對中國傳統重新構建之意涵，並從啟蒙思想角度出發，思考「忠」觀念在當今社會的意涵和效用。本文指出，伏爾泰改編《趙氏孤兒》的出發點是為了匡正當時法國腐敗墮落的政冶風俗。他借鑒中國文化的可取之處，結合本人的思想哲學，並對中國傳統加以重塑，其目的是為了宣揚啟蒙思想。本文並指出在現今社會，傳統「忠」觀念應以理性主義為準繩，才能與時並進，發揮最大效用。

淺析余華90年代長篇小說的小人物書寫 : 以《在細雨中呼喊》、《活著》和《許三觀賣血記》為例, Shurou Guan

「小人物」是余華小說中的重要核心，他們樸素而鮮活，充滿旺盛的生命力。在他的筆下，小人物具有迥然不同的生命形態和個性表達，這些書中人物無疑體現作家的情感以及展露其精神走向，透出對社會的人文關懷。

本文選取並討論余華90年代的三篇長篇小說《細雨中呼喊》、《活著》和《許三觀賣血記》，並探討小說中的小人物書寫。文章分四部分：引言部分簡略介紹余華，然後闡述論文研究背景、方法及概況；正文部分主要介紹小人物在文學上的重要性，以及所選三部作品中小人物的特點；之後重點分析余華筆下的小人物之形象轉變，以及探討余華三部作品如何善用不同的視角達到寫作目的，來呈現作品的人物角力之轉變，最後總結全文。

從《宣驗記》論六朝佛家思想和文學價值, Ying Ying Chen

劉義慶《宣驗記》是中國志怪小説之一，被魯迅評為釋氏輔教之書。中國人本身深受儒家和道家思想影響，佛教能立根中國，為中國人所認識，實有賴社會環境和佛教徒的努力，社會也漸漸出現信奉佛教的作家，他們創作小說時會加入佛教思想。另外，《宣驗記》中的佛教故事不但能宣揚佛家思想，對後世創作也帶來巨大影響。然而，現在大部分有關六朝志怪小說研究的學術文章主要分析小說中的佛家思想或其分類，但缺少全面的研究，如︰佛教發展興盛的原因和佛教故事帶來的影響。

故本論文先概述佛教在六朝的發展和原因。其次分析《宣驗記》小說故事內容與其佛家思想，進一步佛教在六朝社會傳播的情形、六朝社會狀況和民眾佛教信仰的情況。最後分析《宣驗記》中的佛教故事在宗教和文學上作出什麼貢獻。

論蘇軾櫽栝詞, Po Man Law

蘇軾是宋朝著名的文學家，他詩文了得，熟悉音律，但最大的貢獻莫過於提升詞的地位。除了豪放詞，蘇軾也有創立櫽栝詞體，並使櫽栝詞在日後成為獨立的詞體。然而作為櫽栝詞開山鼻祖的蘇軾，其櫽栝詞卻甚少被研究，且因定義問題，前人的研究頗有參差。本篇論文從蘇軾的九首櫽栝詞展開討論，組織前人研究並為櫽栝進行定義，隨後將蘇軾的櫽栝詞分為「與原文相近」、「略有增損」、「與原文不相近」及「沒有按照原文櫽栝」四類，從詞牌、音律及內容轉變探討它們與原文的藝術形式改變。因蘇軾的九首櫽栝詞中，有八首寫於謫居黃州的時期，所以能充分表露蘇軾於文學高峰時期曠達自適，不將功名利祿放入眼內，但在同時為自己的遭遇哀歎的矛盾心態。另外，蘇軾的櫽栝詞隱含了頗多哲學思想，且初步透露了蘇軾後期的「三教合一」思想。本篇論文最後探討後人對蘇軾櫽栝詞褒貶不一的評價，然而不少後人模仿蘇軾的櫽栝詞，甚至有只寫櫽栝詞的詞人，因此蘇軾的櫽栝詞對櫽栝詞體甚為重要。另外因大部分櫽栝詞寫於黃州時期，所以對研究蘇軾的黃州時期頗有幫助。從幾方面均可證明蘇軾的櫽栝詞有充分的研究價值，不可被忽略。

探析鮑照賦的藝術特徵 : 情與景、情與物的關係, Chun Mei Tam

鮑照（約414年－466年）是南宋時期（420年－479年）傑出的文學家，他擅寫詩、賦與散文，其中以詩歌創作成就最為卓著。故此，歷代學者都集中研究他的樂府詩和七言詩，較少關注其詩歌以外的創作。關於鮑照賦的討論，學者往往聚焦於其著作《蕪城賦》，而對其他賦作或是有所忽略，或是各有偏重。從「情與景」、「情與物」的角度進行梳理和探究的論著依然缺失，這無疑削弱了對鮑照賦的整體論述。

有鑑於此，本論文將以鮑照賦作為主要的研究對象，結合相關的文藝理論，探討當中的「情與景」、「情與物」的關係，旨在探究其整體的藝術價值。另外，針對某些頗具爭議性的賦作也會進行深度剖析。本文由五大章節組成，在緒論部分將綜述鮑照賦的研究現況，並在此基礎上闡述本論文的研究意義。第二章簡述中國古代的文藝理論，說明選取王夫之的《薑齋詩話》和劉勰的《文心雕龍·詮賦》作為研究鮑照賦的原因。第三章以王夫之的《薑齋詩話》為依據，從「景中情」、「情中景」、「情景妙合無垠」來探析鮑照抒情賦中的「情與景」的關係。第四章以劉勰的《文心雕龍·詮賦》為依據，從「情以物興」、「物以情觀」、「物我交融」來闡述鮑照詠物賦中的「情與物」的關係。第五章針對鮑照賦的研究現況，抽取富有爭議的篇章來進行深入的分析，從而表明《觀漏賦》具有「題為詠物，實為抒情」的特色。結論部分則總結本論文的內容，重申是次的研究意義。

《離騷》的節奏模式, Yee Lok Wan

詩本來便是吟誦的，雖然異於歌曲，但同樣有節奏、韻律的聲音因素影響著讀者或者聽眾的審美經驗。楚地巫風本已甚盛，有其風格獨樹一幟的歌舞、音樂，再受《詩經》滋養，終產生了屈原的各篇楚辭。《離騷》的句腰虛詞有其重要的音樂特性。一方面，它是銜接一詩行中兩組音步的橋樑。另一方面，由於重複出現在幾乎所有詩行的同樣地方，它也成為了詩歌建立節奏感的音步。

本文旨在分析《離騷》的節奏模式。本文以六言句為基礎，透過分析詩行每字、每詞之間的語法和意義關係，得出312模式、句首一字提領、222模式以及213模式四種節奏。當中以句首一字提領為最常見，並據此與其他字數的句子——即五言、七言、八言和九言句——比較。基本上，六言句的節奏模式在其他字數的句子皆有跡可尋，這些句子基本上也是在這些模式上增字、減字，或者疊加而成。五言句基本上以句首一字提領的節奏模式為基礎；至於七言句，讀者可以從中找到所有模式的根據；八言句則可見句首一字提領、213和222模式；最後，唯一的九言句亦以句首一字提領為根據。

電影與歷史：論香港電影中日戰爭的日本形象（1960-1990年代）, Ka Yee Cheung

媒體在很大程度上介入人們對歷史的認知。當歷史的書寫和影像走出了勝利者的演講稿，電影便以多元的姿態對歷史進行見證與回顧。擴展題材、意識形態、歷史的來源等方式再現和豐富歷史，電影人獨到的見解都增添了歷史的複雜性和曖昧性。而再現的過程必然會被其時代和周遭的世界滲透影響。影片的價值在於它提供了一種社會與歷史角度的詮釋方式，影片與其周遭的世界必然互相溝通。由此電影的背景與敘述成為我們研究和理解歷史與社會的參數。

對中國人而言，中日戰爭（1939-1945）是一道陳年的傷疤，如今仍以各種媒介傳載這段歷史。在1949年後，面對曾經的敵人，中港台三地皆隨著語境的變遷有不同的回應。而電影，作為歷史的敘述者，也在繼續重現、萃取、呈現不同的視野和維度。作為曾經的丑角，香港電影對日本的記憶在60年代起產生了曖昧的變化。在港英政府的管治下，民族主義沒成為主流，與日本的關係變得密切。但電影對中日戰爭這一題材仍處理得小心翼翼，無論是電影還是社會都仍未能完全消化日本「侵略者」的歷史。八、九十年代，人們開始集中關注本地經濟、身分、社會、回歸等問題。戰爭歷史不再是主要題材，更多作為我們了解社會的憑據。沒有經歷戰爭的香港影人對中日戰爭的呈現表現出一種過去與旁觀的態度。

這一脈絡展現香港社會，或香港影人在不同年代如何回應中日戰爭這段歷史，同時這與社會發展密不可分。由此，本文將分別分析1960至1990年代四套與中日戰爭相關的電影，包括：《最長的一夜》（1965），《廣島廿八》（1974），《傾城之戀》（1984）及《客途秋恨》（1990）。本文將結合電影背景、社會、作者等因素具體分析電影中日本印象的呈現與轉變。

林夕歌詞的比喻與比擬研究, Po Yan Cheng

近年香港各明星組合冒起，流行曲又再掀起熱潮。從六、七十年代到今，每個時期都有各自的當紅歌手和填詞人。能橫跨樂壇三十多年，詞作出色令人驚嘆的非他莫屬──林夕。

林夕原名梁偉文，從八十年代中開始填流行歌詞。林夕詞作除了產量多，更出色於用典、節奏、故事性、宗教思想等。因此對林夕歌詞之研究每多圍繞其主題或概念，甚少以歌詞細讀的形式分析。

文本將從修辭角度入手，分析林夕歌詞中的比喻與比擬運用。正文將分成三部份──第一部份分析其歌詞中的比喻與比擬如何加強情感；第二部份分析其歌詞中的比喻與比擬如何營造意象；第三部份分析其歌詞中的比喻與比擬在情感和意象上如何相輔相成地突出主題，達至共融。

從自傳記憶到集體記憶：試論吳明益《單車失竊記》的敘事藝術, Yue Xu

吳明益於他的小說《單車失竊記》中通過尋找失蹤父親與失竊單車的情節設計，串聯起與家族歷史、戰爭記憶、單車記載、自然生態相關的故事，講述了戰爭年代下的被遺忘的群體的經驗與時代圖景。小說所記錄的時間之長久、地理範圍之遼闊、角色之創新，都令那個時代展現出更為豐富的維度，同時也考驗作者調動文字的能力。吳明益通過對個體經驗、細小物件、動物與自然環境的關懷，令歷史藉由對話、信件、文字、錄音等傳統媒介展現出鮮有正史關注的全新角度，也由此反思不同的族群之間，乃至人與自然之間過去失衡的關係。

本文可分為四個部分，第一部分是緒論，介紹作者、作品，並對前人的研究進行總結；第二部分為正文部分，引入社會學上“集體記憶”理論以對小說中的歷史書寫進行分類，對小說中自傳記憶與歷史記憶的書寫，從家族史、戰爭史、物件史、動物史四個角度出發，通過文本的梳理整理出這部作品塑造歷史的不同層次；第三部分對作品所體現的的獨特的寫法進行分析；第四部分則總結前文，整體地審視《單車失竊記》中歷史與記憶的不同層次。

小說主要講述在傳統家庭成長的阿欣如何逐步擺脫桎梏，面對自己內心的情感和想法。阿欣從小被母親用傳統方法教育，以情緒勒索的方式教養出千依百順的她，用語言和行為操控女兒。阿欣即使已經踏入社會，仍逃不出母親所置的無形枷鎖，不斷被母親和上司、同事等人情緒勒索而感到窒息。有着敏感個性的阿欣，為了不令任何人失望，往往妥協、忍讓，以至忽略甚至壓抑自己的想法和需要，只用不治本的方式排遣不快、逃避問題。阿欣在父親去世後面對生活，慢慢明白要為自己着想、為自己的情緒、行為負責，而非單單將所有問題歸咎於同樣缺乏安全感的母親，不再逃避，逐步走出陰霾。

East/west comparative philosophy often focuses on the differences between philosophies as finished states which, though effective at showing differences in thought, emphasizes the otherness of foreign traditions. In order to establish meaningful similarities between the development on eastern and western traditions, I compared the development of American liberalism (1651-1776 CE) and Chinese Confucianism and Daoism (772-221 BCE), focusing on the similarities between social contract to enlightenment philosophers and the early to late Hundred Schools of Thought Confucian and Daoist philosophers. Exploring Chinese Audience’S Responses Toward American Film Representations Of Chinese Culture And People, Yue Yu

This qualitative study focuses on the Chinese audience responses to Chinese media representations in American films. The goal of this project is to create a white paper that can be present to American film producers or potential movie investors who want to earn a bigger market share in China. Semi-structured focus groups were conducted among college students, addressing four research questions. Findings revealed that the participants in the focus group were able to identify and acknowledge the Chinese media representation and stereotypes in American feature films. captured in his well-known conception of literature’s “usefulness without use.”

This study is an effort to turn to older Chinese immigrant women aged 60 and above, one of the most marginalized groups in American society, to recognize their humanity and rediscover the unseen and unheard. It asks what we can learn from their life stories, particularly from the ways in which each experience(d) being a woman in different societal systems. In the present work I study Daoist philosophy in conjunction with the radical new philosophy of antinatalism, spearheaded by South African philosopher David Benatar. Although I am not claiming equivalence between the two, a meaningful communication emerges between the classical Chinese sources used here and the modern doctrine of antinatalism. Based on the symbolism of the trigrams, the Yi-Jing cosmic model offers possibilities in a coordinate system with eight octants to discuss different philosophical developments in parallel. It forms a framework for further elaboration of theory and methodology of comparative philosophy. This thesis argues that an autochthonous mosque architecture exists in China, and this historical type adequately serves as a reference for contemporary mosque building in southeastern China in light of how it responded to the Chinese cultural and urban contexts. Many Hui Muslims and architects in this region refuse to consider historical mosque architecture built in traditional Chinese architectural style as their cultural references in constructing new mosques, as they believe that the traditional Chinese architectural language is insufficient to express their identity as Muslims.
