This study aims to determine the effectiveness of simulation-assisted teaching materials in increasing conceptual understanding of prospective physics teacher students about mechanical waves. Research method is a one-group pretest-posttest design with subjects consisted of 25 physics education undergraduate students at Universitas Negeri Malang. Research instrument is a conceptual understanding test item of mechanical waves. The results showed that the acquisition of an increase in learning outcomes through the calculation of the normalized average gain is 0.77 was included in the "high" category so that the use of simulation-assisted teaching materials effective in improving students' conceptual understanding. This study aims to describe (1) the Indonesian cultural orientation sessions obtained and (2) Indonesian cultural materials needed by BIPA students prior to the immersion program. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that (1) Indonesian cultural orientation sessions obtained by BIPA students can help them anticipate culture shock and (2) Indonesian cultural materials needed by BIPA students are material on how to dress, communicate, eat, use transportation, food information, and relations between women and men. Teaching materials for daily communication purposes are needed by BIPA students at the beginner level so they can establish social contact and communicate with native speakers. The development model in this study is the 4D development model. Daily communication material focuses on the use of formal and informal language as a tool for verbal communication. Based on the validation test that has been carried out for the total results of BIPA material expert validation of 67.5%. Practitioners 67.1%, and 79.1% graphic experts. Therefore, this teaching material is quite feasible to use.

This study employs a multiple case study method and aims to investigate, discover, and describe the suburban area English teachers teaching methods during the distance learning, challenges which are faced by the teachers, how the teachers solve those challenges, and the teachers’ perceptions towards the implementation of distance learning. The findings revealed that the teachers use direct teaching and more focused on utilizing the technology. Some of those challenges are mainly caused by the students ‘conditions. In order to obtain more genuine and valid results, a future study with better research instruments need to be conducted.

The Heuristic Inquiry (HI) qualitative method applied in this study explored the role of Pentecostal faith in the post-migration lived experiences of Jamaican Canadian immigrant women (JCIW). Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven JCIW whose Pentecostal faith helped them to reconstruct their cultural identity post-migration. The creative flexibility of HI allowed for the integration of the primary researcher’s (i.e., first author's) voice into the study alongside those of the co-researchers. The below documentation is an analysis of online integrative based supervision ideas with multicultural considerations. Various interventions with supervisees, which are aimed for supervisee reflective growth and client beneficence, are also discussed. Following Integrated Supervision Framework (ISF) description, a case vignette introducing reflective and inclusive online strategies is described. To guide therapists working with sexual minority individuals considering entering in an other-gender relationship, we present data from 82 sexual minority, current Latter-day Saints in other-gender relationships, 155 sexual minority, former Latter-day Saints in same-gender relationships, and 123 cisgender/heterosexual, current Latter-day Saints in other-gender relationships. Results suggest that relative to cisgender/heterosexual individuals, sexual minority individuals (both in same- and other-gender relationships), report being less happy in their relationship, viewing porn and masturbating more often, and experiencing greater religious struggles. A middle school campus in a Southeast urban community used a Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) Cycle, an inquiry method in improvement science, to address high exclusionary discipline rates by implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies and Restorative Practices (RP) to transform school culture. A reform to a comprehensive discipline program was developed to minimize the amount of exclusionary discipline outcomes (in-school suspension [ISS], out-of- school suspension [OSS], and expulsion) among students while increasing student attendance rates, student achievement, and teacher retention.
