Education is one of the most fundamental of human capital. The right to education is written in UUD 1945 and policy of compulsory education has already been implemented, yet the mean years of schooling in Indonesia is still low. It is assumed that there is education inequality. Method of analysis used in this research is panel data regression model FEM with FGLS–SUR. The research finds that education inequality in Indonesia is classified as low inequality in the past 5 years and is effected significantly by gender equality, government budget, unemployment rate, and Gini ratio.

The findings of this study suggest that while the FRR score provides a reasonable indication of financial fragility over a subsequent five-year period, the FRR score is little better than a coin flip in predicting whether a religiously affiliated higher education institution will be financially troubled enough to close within the subsequent five years. The study found that using a multi-factor model to predict closure results in higher predictive accuracy during the observed period.

This hermeneutic phenomenological research study addressed the persistent problem of practice of underrepresentation of economically disadvantaged students in gifted education by exploring the beliefs, experiences, and practices of families with economic disadvantages pertaining to giftedness and family involvement in education. Data was gathered from six participants with economic disadvantages and a gifted child through two interviews and analyzed using the hermeneutic circle to uncover patterns and themes.

Themes emerged around each of the three research questions including themes for beliefs and experiences pertaining to giftedness: resiliency, creativity, overexcitability, divergent thinking, twice-exceptionality, intelligence, asynchronous development, and negative behaviors. This dissertation examines the policy requirement of site-based expenditure reporting which is a requirement of the newest reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, the Every Student Succeeds Act. For the first time, the federal government has required school districts to report site-level expenditure data publicly. In Illinois, the tool used to meet this federal reporting requirement is Site-Based Expenditure Reporting. The online program management (OPM) industry is a multibillion-dollar business that works with the higher education industry. Once primarily a tuition revenue share model that marketed and enrolled new programs for institutions, the OPM business is evolving. Fee-for-service payments and services such as coaching and instructional design are now part of the OPM landscape. Although higher education institutions are spending billions of dollars, there has been very little academic research into this phenomenon. Nationwide, over half a million children live in households that report very low food security among children, meaning a child is not eating enough, going hungry, skipping a meal, or not eating for a full day because the household can’t afford food. School meals cannot alleviate this need outside of school hours. To mitigate food insecurity on days when free school meals are unavailable, foodbanks have partnered with schools to create weekend feeding, or “BackPack,” programs that provide children with a bag of nonperishable food to nourish them over the weekend.

Grounded on “Theory of Planned Behaviour” (TPB), this study analyzes the influence of financial threat and financial literacy on ‘willingness to change’ the financial behavior. The ‘primary data’ collected from the university students by using convenience sampling technique. Multiple regression results shows that financial literacy and financial threat has significant influence on willingness to change the financial behavior of the university students. This implies that increase in the financial threat leads to change in the financial behavior, which supports the fact that investor’s intention to invest is affected by different factors.
