The ongoing digital transformation of the construction industry, known as Construction 4.0, requires students in built-environment programs to gain adequate exposure to emerging technologies. Despite this need, many faces significant barriers to meaningful engagement. This study explores the factors limiting students’ learning experiences related to Construction 4.0 in Nigerian universities and polytechnics. Using a stratified random sampling method, 154 students from one university and one polytechnic were surveyed through a structured questionnaire. This study examines the growth of the Southern Nevada startup ecosystem, analyzing key components such as funding sources, incubators, accelerators, and public-private collaborations. In response to declining R&D productivity and successive patent cliffs, pharmaceutical companies are increasingly acquiring biotechnology firms to sustain innovation. These acquisitions often occur under conditions of competence-destroying change, where the acquirer's chemistry-based knowledge base does not overlap with the biotechnology expertise of the target, challenging traditional theories that emphasize absorptive capacity and knowledge similarity.

As artificial intelligence (AI) technologies like GenAI tools increasingly reshape the workplace, employees increasingly face threats to their work identity. Grounded in the identity threat response model and job crafting theory, this study investigates how AI identity threat influences employee AI job crafting behaviors and how these behaviors, in turn, affect vitality and learning. Using survey data from 521 full-time employees who actively engage with AI tools, the results indicate that AI identity threat stimulates both AI approach job crafting and AI avoidance job crafting. AI approach crafting enhances both vitality and learning, while AI avoidance crafting only supports vitality. …
