Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) transforms the entrepreneurial landscape by providing contextual information, identifying viable opportunities, and facilitating entrepreneurial decision-making. Despite the growing acknowledgment of its use in entrepreneurial activities, this field lacks a robust theoretical framework and practical implementation. This study seeks to fill this gap by drawing on information behavior literature to explore the effect of GenAI across the entrepreneurial spectrum. By leveraging large language models and prompt engineering patterns, we examined how GenAI could generate accurate, relevant, and inspiring content through various interaction scenarios. This study investigates the key factors influencing the social acceptance of solar energy technologies, aiming to develop a policy and practice framework from a socio-political perspective. While previous research has identified various factors, it has often overlooked the role of policy interventions. We investigate whether collaborations with established incumbents bolster innovation and access to capital for FinTech start-ups. Collaborations increase patent applications and raise both short-and long-term citations. Collaborations with finance incumbents stimulate finance and technology citations and boost both short-and long-horizon venture capital fundraising. These effects persist after addressing endogeneity and conducting additional robustness tests. Theoretically, our findings test the resource based theory in the FinTech ecosystem and enrich the open innovation literature by showing that, despite power asymmetries, FinTech start-ups can sustain innovative momentum and capture innovation gains via collaborations with incumbents. This study maps the intellectual landscape of research on poverty in Islam using a structured bibliometric approach with Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix) in RStudio. A Scopus search (TITLE-ABS-KEY “poverty” AND “Islam”) conducted on 1 September 2023 identified 279 English-language journal articles published between 1976 and 2023. The corpus spans 227 sources, 646 authors, and 10,262 cited references, with an annual growth rate of about 5%. Performance and science-mapping analyses reveal two “motor themes”—Islamic finance and healthcare/public health—while spiritually anchored constructs (e.g., maqasid, zakat governance, waqf, spiritual poverty) remain peripheral in co-occurrence and thematic maps. Scientists studying culture typically focus on a small number of theoretical constructs, such as individualism–collectivism, when seeking to explain cultural differences in psychological tendencies and behaviors. However, existing theories of culture could have missed out on important constructs that are useful for explaining cross-cultural differences. We used an abductive approach combining prediction and explanation to uncover important cultural values. In the prediction phase, based on 594 attitudes, values, and beliefs included in the World Values Survey, a neural network could classify respondents’ nationalities with 90% accuracy in out-of-sample data. This qualitative phenomenological study explored how cultural competency in small to medium-sized Black immigrant-owned healthcare practices in Texas affects internal communication and patient care. Through semi-structured interviews with nine clinical and administrative leaders in Dallas and Houston, five themes emerged: culturally competent leadership, intentional communication structures, language and interpretation practices, patient-centered cultural sensitivity, and the use of technology for adaptation. Findings suggest that culturally aware leadership and inclusive communication strategies foster team cohesion and improve patient trust and care. Based on industry use cases, we identify six distinct types of digital transformation (DT), each grounded in a specific concept or enabling technology. These DT types can be implemented individually or combined to drive transformation initiatives. This dissertation investigates how healthcare software startups manage the risks associated with open-source software (OSS) use. Using a qualitative multi-site case study approach and thematic analysis, the study draws insights from interviews with developers, security professionals, and technology leaders in early-stage healthtech companies. Six key themes emerged: Strategic Governance and Oversight, Security and Compliance Practices, Operational Foundations and Standards, Risk Awareness and Technical Due Diligence, Technology Choices and Ecosystem Tools, and People and Culture. This paper examines the impact of consumer complaints on corporate digital transformation and its underlying mechanisms. Using quarterly data from China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2018 to 2023, the empirical results show that an increase in consumer complaints significantly hinders corporate digital transformation. Mechanism analysis reveals that consumer complaints raise legal risks and non-productive costs for firms, leading them to allocate more resources toward short-term crisis management rather than long-term digital development. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that this inhibitory effect is more pronounced in firms with weaker cybersecurity governance, firms whose executives lack a digital background, and firms …
