When regional quarantine restrictions were rapidly implemented in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, knowledge workers were forced to vacate their traditional shared office spaces and transition to remote work environments. This unprecedented mass exodus from traditional in-person physical workplaces was facilitated by existing and new software and technology that allowed workers to remain connected and working. This phenomenological study explored the lived experiences and perceptions of knowledge workers who experienced this transition to a full-time remote work environment. Despite being one of the world’s primary producers, Indonesia faces challenges in increasing mango exports. The government has been promoting mango exports to boost economic growth in the agricultural sector. The purpose of this study is to identify opportunities and challenges that are associated with increasing mango exports from Indonesia. We conducted a qualitative assessment through in-depth interviews with 20 Indonesian mango exporters and government officials, to identify opportunities and challenges associated with increasing mango exports from Indonesia. Our findings reveal that the physical qualities demanded by export markets do not significantly differ from those required by modern domestic markets. …

Scant research attention has been dedicated to examining methodology to implement for workflow-aware and skillset-savvy, AI-assisted stakeholder management. This paper has conducted natural language processing (bigram) and network analysis to understand AI-assisted stakeholder management practices in the U.S. intelligent service community. This analysis will provide information to community leaders in the cities and towns of South Dakota. Retail pull is an economic indicator that provides a measure of community’s economic health and its ability to attract shoppers, both shoppers from its own community and from other communities. A community that has a healthy retail economy is generally able to attract shoppers from its own community as well as surrounding communities.

Regulations for product recalls differ internationally. In some countries, the responsibility rests entirely with manufacturers to quickly take corrective measures to ensure consumer safety. In other countries, penalties may also be imposed on consumers who persist in using products that have been recalled. We hypothesize that firm responsiveness (as measured by the time between the product release and the recall) will be higher in markets where product safety regulations that include consumer liability than in markets where product safety regulations focus solely on firms, and that firms that standardize their vehicles across such markets become more responsive in both those …

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) investment analysts, often referred to as “robo-advisors”, has the potential to change traditional portfolio management. These systems access vast amounts of data and make portfolio management decisions and stock market predictions. In this study, I compared AI-generated portfolios with portfolios that were created manually. Surprisingly, the human-generated portfolios outperformed the AI portfolios. However, the prompt used in the AI application affects these results. The subset of AI portfolios that were created with specific objectives specified in the prompts outperformed those that were created with more generic prompts. The study investigates how the personality traits of marketing students influence their engagement with gamification elements and the resulting learning outcomes. Additionally, it explores how gamification, guided by Self-Determination Theory, enhances these outcomes, and motivates university marketing students. One hundred eleven respondents participated, testing eight hypotheses: seven examined the Big Five traits' influence on attitudes and engagement. At the same time, the final used the self-determination framework to analyze motivation in gamification. Respondents with openness and extraversion favored using gamified learning materials, with no gender differences observed.
