This project, “Recasting William Shakespeare in The Business of Playwriting,” works to reinvigorate the value gained by reading Shakespeare by:

The following reports discuss the geographical preferences of Millennials in relation to job selection preferences. Our team analyzed the moving trends of Millennials in both Ohio and the United States to determine what factors influence this decision. Collectively, our team concluded that in order to successfully recruit Millennials, companies must offer benefit packages that center around work-life balance. This entails not just highlighting what a job requires technically, but opportunities for leadership development, social activities outside of work, and more. This research study aims to investigate and analyse what is working in the cosmetic PR industry for beauty brands; bloggers; and beauty consumers. There has been limited research conducted into this important topic and less so into the PR tactics used by large cosmetic brands. This study explores the veracity of the six ethical variables proposed in the contingency theory of strategic conflict management – the role of PR practitioner, the role of top management, nature of the crisis, the activism of stakeholders; government regulation/intervention; diversity to different cultures and exposure external business environments. In-depth interviews with 10 communication professionals in Singapore were conducted. In line with the patriarchal management structure, the top management plays a critical role in determining ethical stances, with practitioners playing important consultative positions. Modern distribution systems often stretch beyond national borders such that a highly-visible product failure in a single country may negatively influence the reputation and market share of all identifiable supply chain members-even those that are blameless-in multiple countries, especially when the product is related to food safety. This study considers how Fonterra's response to its 2013 bacterial contamination crisis influenced its own reputation and that of the New Zealand dairy milk industry. For decades, the territorial dispute between China and Japan over the sovereignty of the Senkaku Islands has caused diplomatic deteriorations in Sino-Japanese relations. When there is extensive media coverage on news about the dispute, nationalist sentiments in both two countries would be triggered and could be expressed through detrimental behaviors towards transnational corporations (hereinafter TNCs). While TNCs play a significant political function as corporate diplomats for their home countries, they are subject to the risk of crises when their home countries are involved in political and economic conflicts with the foreign countries in which they have operations. Parallel Session: Re-Clarification Of Corporate Character Scale (Davies Et Al., 2003) In Upscale Hotels, Dr. Mozard Mohtar, Dr. Norbani Che Ha, Dr. Zalfa Laili Hamzah

International Conference on Marketing

This study examines the robustness of corporate character scale (CCS) in hotel industry in Malaysia via parallel analysis of factor analytic methods. A total of 529 respondents were surveyed for the purpose with Shangri-La and Hilton as sample hotels. Principal Axis Factoring and Principal Component Analysis and LISREL 8.8 were used to analyze the scale. Results show four instead of five factors scale and all factors meet necessary validity and reliability requirements.

This study investigates on proactive customer orientation and responsive customer orientation among business units operating in the technology, information, communication and entertainment (TICE) industry of Malaysia. The impact of the demographic factors of these business units on proactive and responsive customer orientation is examined. The results revealed that the business unit size has statistically significant impact on the variables of interest. The difference in t he business unit size based number of employees has an influence on both the proactive and responsive constructs. Experiential learning theories, such as David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle (2015) contribute to more than just learning environments. In this Training Course Linked Capstone I facilitated a six-week strategic planning workshop for the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group (DIAG) of AFS-USA, an intercultural youth exchange organization. Kolb’s cycle acted as framework for the workshop. The DIAG operates as a virtual team, with members across the United States, therefore I designed the workshop for implementation via the internet and telephone conversation. Project management provides guidelines for the implementation of systems to make processes more effective and efficient. One emerging field in which project management application benefits are being discovered is ministry and nonprofits, specifically Christian ministry. Although there are many different denominations in Christianity, they can all essentially be separated into two categories: Seeker Oriented Ministries, and Traditional Ministries. This thesis will attempt to provide a synopsis of the applications of project management in both ministry types, as well as a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between the two styles.
