การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนในครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์ในการพัฒนาด้านทักษะทางด้านการบรรเลงเปียโน ผู้แสดงได้เลือกสรรค์บทประพันธ์ที่มีมาตรฐาน บทประพันธ์ที่ใช้ในการแสดงในครั้งนี้มีความแตกต่างกันของยุคสมัยโดยจะได้ศึกษาด้านประวัติศาสตร์ทางดนตรี ชีวประวัติของผู้ประพันธ์ การวิเคราะห์ การตีความบทประพันธ์ การฝึกซ้อม การสื่ออารมณ์และความหมายของบทประพันธ์ต่อผู้ฟัง การเตรียมตัวก่อนการแสดง และการแสดงต่อหน้าสาธารณชน ในการแสดงครั้งนี้ผู้แสดงได้คัดเลือกบทประพันธ์ทั้งหมด 6 บทเพลง ดังนี้ (1) Piano Sonata in G major, K.13 ประพันธ์โดย Domenico Scarlatti (2) Piano Sonata in E minor, K.98 ประพันธ์โดย Domenico Scarlatti (3) Piano Sonata in E flat major, Op.27 No.1 ประพันธ์โดย Ludwig van Beethoven (4) Kinderszenen, Op.15 ประพันธ์โดย Robert Schumann (5) Love of the Three Oranges Op.33 และ Romeo and Juliet Op.75 ประพันธ์โดย Sergei Prokofiev การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 6 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2561 เวลา 16.00 น. ณ ห้องแสดงดนตรีธงสรวง โดยแบ่งการแสดงออกเป็น 2 ช่วง ใช้เวลาในการแสดงทั้งหมด 1 ชั่วโมง 15 นาที รวมพักครึ่งการแสดง คำสำคัญ: เปียโน / การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโน / ทรรศวรรณ ภูริเริงภูมิ

การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโน มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับบทประพันธ์ เพื่อใช้ประกอบเป็นข้อมูลในการทำวิทยานิพนธ์ในระดับมหาบัณฑิตด้านการแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนโดย พรพิมล อ้นจู เนื้อหาในการวิเคราะห์บทประพันธ์ประกอบไปด้วย การศึกษาชีวประวัติของผู้ประพันธ์ การวิเคราะห์และตีความบทประพันธ์ วิธีการนำเสนอ รวมไปถึงเทคนิคต่าง ๆ ในการบรรเลงบทเพลง เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่สำคัญในการฝึกซ้อมและการประกอบการแสดงบทเพลงได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ที่สุด อีกทั้งเพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพในการบรรเลงเปียโนของผู้แสดงและเพื่อเผยแพร่ผลงานการแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนต่อผู้ที่ความสนใจในงานแสดงดนตรี โดยผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกบทประพันธ์โซนาตาที่น่าสนใจจากยุคสมัยที่แตกต่างกัน นอกจากนี้การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโน ยังเป็นเป้าหมายสำคัญในการถ่ายทอดความไพเราะของดนตรีคลาสสิกและเผยแพร่บทเพลงอันทรงคุณค่าต่อผู้ที่สนใจในดนตรีคลาสสิก เพื่อให้คนรุ่นหลังได้ทราบถึงคุณค่าของดนตรีคลาสสิกสืบไป

การแสดงเดี่ยวกีตาร์คลาสสิกโดย ภูนที ทาคำ มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพทางด้านต่าง ๆ ของผู้แสดงให้เทียบเท่ามาตรฐานสากล ทั้งด้านเทคนิคการบรรเลงกีตาร์ การศึกษาประวัติเพลงและผู้แต่ง การวิเคราะห์และตีความบทเพลง รวมถึงการเตรียมตัวและกระบวนการจัดแสดงผลงาน ทั้งนี้ยังเป็นการเผยแพร่บทเพลงกีตาร์คลาสสิกให้เป็นที่รู้จัก ผู้แสดงได้คัดเลือกบทเพลงที่ใช้ในการแสดงทั้งหมด 6 บทเพลง จากยุคบาโรก ยุคคลาสสิก ยุคดนตรีศตวรรษที่ 20 และดนตรีร่วมสมัย ได้แก่ (1) Fantasie sur deux Motifs de La Norma แต่งโดย Napoleon Coste (2) Violin Sonata No. 1 BWV 1001 แต่งโดย Johann Sebastian Bach (3) La Cathedral แต่งโดย Agustin Barrios (4) Libra Sonatine แต่งโดย Rolands Dyens (5) Aquarelle แต่งโดย Sergio Assad และ (6) Histoire du Tango แต่งโดย Astor Piazzolla การแสดงครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 30 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2561 เวลา 13.00 น. ณ ห้องแสดงดนตรี ชั้น 3 คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย การแสดงแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ช่วง ระยะเวลาโดยประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง 15 นาที

การแสดงขับร้องเดี่ยวโดย พันธวิทย์ อัศวเดชเมธากุล มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อศึกษาและวิเคราะห์บทเพลง เทคนิคการขับร้องและการนำเสนอบทเพลงด้วยการใช้เสียงประเภทเคาน์เตอร์เทเนอร์ ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะเสียงที่ต้องใช้เทคนิคการขับร้องขั้นสูงตามกระบวนแบบยุคบาโรก และใช้วิธีการฝึกซ้อมอย่างมีแบบแผนด้วยความละเอียด โดยได้คัดเลือกบทเพลงชุด Stabat mater ประพันธ์โดย โจวานนี บาทิสตา เปร์โกเลซี (Giovanni Battista Pergolesi : 1710-1736) เป็นเพลงชุดประกอบด้วย 12 บทเพลงจากบทกวีภาษาละตินศตวรรษที่ 14 ซึ่งมีความหลากหลายทั้งในศาสตร์ของการขับร้องเดี่ยวและคู่ บทเพลงเร็วและช้า และลีลาของทำนองที่ต้องใช้ความเชี่ยวชาญ รวมทั้งการถอดความและตีความบทเพลงซึ่งมีหลากหลายกระบวนแบบ จากนั้นนำสู่การฝึกปฏิบัติ การวางแผนการฝึกซ้อมและการจัดแสดง การฝึกซ้อมร่วมกับนักร้องคู่และเปียโนบรรเลงประกอบ เพื่อถ่ายทอดบทเพลงอย่างได้อรรถรส ตามที่ผู้ประพันธ์ได้รังสรรค์ไว้

การแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนในครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะด้านการบรรเลงเปียโน โดยผู้แสดงได้คัดเลือกบทเพลงที่มีมาตรฐานเทียบเท่ากับระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาทั่วโลก บทประพันธ์สำหรับการแสดงในครั้งนี้คัดเลือกมาจากยุคสมัยที่แตกต่างกัน ทั้งนี้ผู้แสดงจะได้ศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ การวิเคราะห์ การตีความบทประพันธ์ การฝึกซ้อม การถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ และพัฒนาทักษะในการบรรเลง โดยผู้แสดงได้ทำการคัดเลือกบทเพลงสำหรับการแสดงครั้งนี้ไว้ 4 บทเพลงดังนี้ 1. Le Rappel Des Oiseaux ผลงานการประพันธ์ของ Jean-Philippe Rameau 2. Miroirs ผลงานการประพันธ์ของ Maurice Ravel 3. Trois Pièces for Piano ผลงานการประพันธ์ของ Francis Poulenc 4. Images (Book 1) ผลงานการประพันธ์ของ Claude Debussy การแสดงในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 6 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2561 เวลา 14.00 น. ณ ห้องแสดงดนตรีธงสรวง (Tongsuang Recital Hall) ตั้งอยู่บ้านเลขที่ 54/1 ถนนสุขุมวิทซอย 3 กรุงเทพมหานคร การแสดงทั้งหมดใช้เวลาประมาณ 83 นาที

บทเพลง สุวรรณภูมิ (แผ่นดินทอง) มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการประพันธ์ขึ้นเพื่อเป็นผลงานในการนำออกแสดงเพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชเนื่องในวโรกาสมหามงคลเสด็จเถลิงถวัลย์ราชสมบัติครบ 70 ปี และสะท้อนวัฒนธรรมดนตรีที่มีนวัตกรรมทางดนตรีพื้นเมืองของไทยทั้ง 4 ภาค โดยผู้วิจัยแบ่งบทเพลงออกเป็นทั้งหมด 4 ท่อนดังนี้ ท่อนที่ 1 ผู้วิจัยให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดลำดับกลุ่มโน้ตที่จะใช้ในแต่ละตอนของท่อนนี้ ผสมกับจังหวะที่คล้ายกับจังหวะรำวงพื้นบ้าน ท่อนที่ 2 ผู้วิจัยได้เลือกกลุ่มโน้ตที่สื่อถึงพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช และนำมาใช้ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ในท่อนนี้ ผนวกกับใช้คอร์ดคู่ 4 เรียงซ้อน และคอร์ดคู่ 5 เรียงซ้อนมาเป็นเสียงประสานผสมกับทำนองเพลงพื้นบ้านภาคเหนือทั้ง 3 เพลง ทำให้ท่อนนี้ยังคงมีกลิ่นอายของความเป็นภาคเหนือของไทย ท่อนที่ 3 ทำนองหลักมาจากเพลงพื้นบ้านของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ผู้วิจัยทำให้อัตราจังหวะเกิดความคลาดเคลื่อนผสมกับความไม่สมมาตรในแง่ต่าง ๆ ของตัวดนตรี ในท่อนสุดท้ายของบทเพลง สุวรรณภูมิ (แผ่นดินทอง) ผู้วิจัยได้เลือกใช้เพลงพื้นบ้านของภาคใต้ นอกจากนั้นผู้วิจัยใช้เสียงประสานที่เป็นกลุ่มเสียงสมมาตรในตัวทำให้เกิดแกนกลางความสมมาตร จากที่กล่าวมาในข้างต้นจะเห็นได้ว่า สุวรรณภูมิ (แผ่นดินทอง) เป็นบทเพลงมีแสดงถึงชนชาติของผู้วิจัยอย่างชัดเจน กล่าวได้ว่าบทเพลงนี้ถือเป็นดนตรีชาตินิยม

The purpose of this study was to investigate self-reported metacognitive habits among collegiate piano majors. It examined the degree to which participants comprehend and employ practice strategies, recognize their own strengths and weaknesses in learning and performing, accurately predict a performance outcome, and self-evaluate following a performance. A total of twelve (N = 12) participants, six (N = 6) undergraduate and six (N = 6) graduate piano majors, enrolled in applied lessons at the University of South Carolina School of Music volunteered to participate in this study. Mark Applebaum is an American composer and Professor of Composition at Stanford University who has made significant contributions to contemporary music. His music has been performed all over the world and his popularity as a composer continues to increase. The experimental nature of his music and his continual innovation and creativity makes his music worthy of study. However, there has been no scholarly research done on his music. The aim of this paper is to present the AEPEM collection, consisting of more than five thousand scores of French traditional melodies. The original material and the digitized collection are described. A short statistical analysis is performed to compare this collection to existing ones in terms of melodic profiles.

The purpose of this grounded theory study was to develop a theory based on the experiences of music therapy students’ use of creative arts as a self-care practice. In addition, this study was intended to determine these students’ perception of self-care and the perceived differences between self-care practices among students and professionals. A grounded theory methodology (Strauss & Corbin, 1990) was utilized in order to analyze the data gained from semi-structured interviews. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to examine the lived experience of a teacher who participated in one 30-minute Improvisational Music Therapy (IMT) session with her students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants included a teacher who has never participated in music therapy sessions with her students, as well as four of her students, ages 12-17, with a primary diagnosis of ASD, and each of their paraprofessionals. Data were collected and thematically analyzed based on transcriptions of the interview with the teacher and videotaped music and verbal interactions in the session. The purpose of this survey study was to explore professional burnout in music therapists and factors that may increase the likelihood of experiencing it. The Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey (1981) and researcher-developed questions were used to test for burnout and variables among board-certified music therapists, such as demographics, longevity, and the music therapists’ ideologies. The list of board-certified music therapists from 2017 was randomized and the survey was distributed to 1635 potential participants. Out of the 200 responses that were received, 199 agreed to participate in this study. On average, participants scored an average degree of burnout …

Hannah Howland performed a graduate recital on March 23, 2017 in Graham Chamber Hall. She was assisted by pianist Polina Khatsko. The program included Sonata No. 3 in C major, BWV 1005 by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sonata No. 3, Op. 27, “Ballade,” by Eugène Ysayë, and Sonata No. 1 in A major, Op. 13 by Gabriel Fauré. These three pieces were selected for this performance because they are seminal works of the violin repertoire that represent three distinct styles and require a wide variety of technical and expressive elements for performance.

The purpose of this recital is to demonstrate a practical competency in playing techniques on the rhythm section instruments piano, bass, and drum set in addition to presenting arrangements and compositions by the performer. The study of rhythm section instruments provides the solid understanding of jazz rhythm and harmony necessary for any jazz educator endeavoring to provide adequate instruction for his or her students. The study of jazz arranging and composition also aids in instructing students of jazz at any level of proficiency. While the decline of protest music in the USA has often been noted, a global perspective reveals that progressive, activist protest musics occupied lively niches in many music cultures worldwide (e.g., of Jamaica, India, Spain, Latin America) during similar periods, roughly the 1950s-80s. While on one level these music movements were embedded in particular socio-political movements, on a broader level they reflected an ardent commitment to the secular universalist ideals of the Enlightenment. The subsequent dramatic decline of all these protest musics—roughly since Fukuyama’s much-debated “end of history”—reflects a broader transformation of the global political climate. The biblical account of creation found in the Book of Genesis is known to billions around the world through its proclamation by multiple religions and numerous denominations. As such it is embedded in many cultures, especially that of the Western civilization and art. This article contains all but two of the movements, three and six, of Max Keller’s analysis of his multi-movement symphonic work The Genesis. The work sought to be a musical expression of the creation narrative found in the Book of Genesis, with direct correlations to the original Hebrew text. As such, the analysis takes an in-depth look …
