This study examines the impacts of drainage infrastructure conditions on Mowe, Ogun State, residents. The study used a quantitative research design, using a systematic random sampling technique to select ten (10) residential estates (three public-owned and seven privately owned) in the study area. In all, 107 residents were sampled using a structured questionnaire. The data collected was analysed using descriptive statistics. Based on the findings of this study, it was evident that the surface drainage system, mainly constructed with sandcrete blocks, was predominant in the study area. In our interconnected and ever-changing social landscape, influence is pivotal in molding individuals’ decisions, perspectives, and behaviors. Measuring Social Influence (SI) in Online Social Networks (OSNs) faces significant gaps, notably needing more integration with human behaviors. Our literature review has unveiled twelve psychological theories rooted in human behavior that are fundamental for assessing SI in OSNs. Outsourcing is an important strategic decision of high-tech firms. However, while the research has extensively studied the implications of outsourcing to high-tech clients, its impact on high-tech vendors remains underexplored. This study empirically estimates the impact of government outsourcing contracts on high-tech vendors. Employing the earnings-return analyses framework, we find that, for high-tech vendors engaged in government outsourcing contracts, the stock market places a higher value on each unit of unexpected earnings compared to other firms. This dissertation aims to examine whether and how CEO emotional stability influences firm innovation. I argue that CEO emotional stability enables firms to create a friendly innovation climate within the firm as well as secure resources from external stakeholders, thus helping firm innovation. Moreover, CEO education, slack resources, firm age, and market complexity strengthen the relationship between CEO emotional stability and firm innovation. Two-wave surveys are conducted to collect the data to test the hypotheses.
