In addition to stresses induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, supply chains worldwide have been growing more complex while facing a continuous onslaught of disruptions. This paper presents an analysis and extension of a graph based model for modeling and simulating the effects of such disruptions. The graph based model combines a Bayesian network approach for simulating risks with a network dependency analysis approach for simulating the propagation of disruptions through the network over time. Purpose: The current complex halal food supply chain (SC) has caused food scandals, which have illustrated the weakness of multiple food quality standards and certification and audits in ensuring food safety. Drawn on the resource-based view (RBV) theory, the purpose of this study is to explore the impacts of SC integration (SCI) on halal food SC integrity and, consequently, food quality. Customer product reviews are an integral component for companies conducting e-commerce, enabling them to stay connected and engaged with their consumers. However, more important these reviews are being utilized and incorporated into the marketing plans of companies. Companies can use a mixture of verified and unverified purchase badges in their displayed product reviews. This study finds that as customers are provided with this additional information to help form impressions about the products they are reviewing, customers' need for cognition ultimately determines how they utilize the presence or absence of these badges.

This paper presents the results of a nationwide survey of the American public’s general familiarity with, and perceptions of, multi-level marketing, direct selling, and social selling. Survey respondents were most familiar with direct selling; there was no substantive difference in familiarity with multi-level marketing and social selling. Respondents familiar with the three terms possessed perceptions of them that were significantly more positive than were the perceptions of respondents reporting not being familiar with the terms. การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงสาเหตุของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุทางทะเลที่เกิดจากเรือนำเที่ยวทางทะเลของจังหวัดภูเก็ต และจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะในการป้องกันการเกิดอุบัติเหตุทางทะเลที่เกิดจากเรือนำเที่ยวทางทะเลของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ใช้เทคนิคเดลฟาย (Delphi Technique) โดยสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 3 รอบ ประกอบด้วย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ผู้ปฏิบัติงานหรือประกอบอาชีพ และเจ้าของกิจการธุรกิจ นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยและต่างชาติ และนักวิชาการ รวม 31 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า รายละเอียดสาเหตุของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุทางทะเลที่เกิดจากเรือนำเที่ยวทางทะเล ที่พบมากที่สุด ประกอบด้วย 2 สาเหตุหลัก ได้แก่ สภาพอากาศเลวร้าย เปลี่ยนแปลงฉับพลัน ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.64 ± 0.63 (mean ± SD) ฐานนิยม (mode) เท่ากับ 4.00 และการเดินเรือด้วยความเร็วสูง ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.57 ± 0.635 (mean ± SD) ฐานนิยม (mode) เท่ากับ 4.00 ข้อเสนอแนะในการป้องกันการเกิดอุบัติเหตุที่เกิดจากเรือนำเที่ยวทางทะเล ได้แก่ ควรมีป้ายแสดงข้อมูลที่ชัดเจน เกี่ยวกับข้อปฏิบัติ และข้อห้ามต่างๆที่ท่าเรือแก่นักท่องเที่ยว และควรมีข้อบังคับสำหรับผู้นำเที่ยวในการให้ข้อมูลกับนักท่องเที่ยวตามรายละเอียดบนป้ายดังกล่าวก่อนออกเดินทาง และควรมีหน่วยงานภาครัฐหรือเจ้าหน้าที่จากภาครัฐประจำแต่ละท่าเรือ เพื่อตรวจสอบความพร้อมเรือ ผู้ปฏิบัติงาน นักท่องเที่ยว ก่อนออกเดินทาง

The Covid-19 pandemic caused major disruptions throughout the container shipping supply chain. Professor Dongping Song of Liverpool University wrote a paper discussing the logistical vulnerabilities in the supply chain, including the issue of congestion in ports. This paper examines the Port of Los Angeles from 2018-2021 as it relates to Song’s paper to see how its operations were impacted during the Covid-19 timeframe. It is found that labor shortages, chassis shortages, and change in trade behavior each contributed to the congestion. Unfortunately, the implemented policies were insufficient to bolster the port against sustained challenges and congestion continues to worsen.

การศึกษาและค้นคว้าอิสระนี้เป็นการศึกษาการปรับปรุงกระบวนการทำงานของแผนกขนส่งสินค้าขาเข้า ของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา XYZ ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทตัวแทนนำเข้า และส่งออกสินค้า (Freight Forward Company) หนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญ คือการอัปเดตสถานะสินค้าว่าสินค้านั้น ๆ ดำเนินการขนส่งอยู่ที่ไหนแล้วบ้าง เพื่ออัปเดตให้แก่ลูกค้าของบริษัทได้สามารถรับทราบเพื่อนำข้อมูลไปใช้ในการวางแผนการผลิต การตลาด หรือประโยชน์อื่น ๆ และยังเป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมที่ใช้วัดผลประเมินประสิทธิภาพการทำงานของแผนกอีกด้วย ซึ่งคะแนนประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานนั้นยังส่งผลต่อการปรับคิดเงินเดือนประจำปี ตลอดจนโบนัสของพนักงานประจำบริษัทอีกด้วย ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการศึกษาหาสาเหตุที่ทำให้กระบวนการทำงานของบริษัทกรณีศึกษามีปัญหา ตลอดจนนำแนวคิด ทฤษฏี และเครื่องมือ ไม่ว่าเป็นแนวคิดลีน ไคเซ็น แผนผังสายธารแห่งคุณค่า (Value Stream Mapping : VSM) และแนวคิด ECRS เข้ามาช่วยในการดำเนินหาทางแก้ไขปัญหาที่บริษัทกรณีศึกษากำลังเผชิญ ตลอดจนการประชุมหารือกับผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งหมดเพื่อหาแนวทางการทำงานใหม่ เพื่อให้ทุกคนทราบถึงปัญหาที่แท้จริง และช่วยกันหาแนวทางที่เหมาะสมในการแก้ไขปัญหาซึ่งหลังจากปรับปรุงกระบวนการนั้น พบว่าทั้ง 2 กิจกรรมการแจ้งเตือน ที่ผู้วิจัยทำการศึกษานั้น มีระยะเวลาเฉลี่ยในการทำงานลดลง และสามารถขจัดกระบวนการที่ไม่มีคุณค่าออกจากกระบวนการทำงานได้ โดยกิจกรรมการแจ้งเตือนที่ 1 มีระยะเวลาเฉลี่ยลดลงจาก 240:09 นาทีลดลงอยู่ที่ 118.36 นาที ระยะเวลาเฉลี่ยในการทำงานลดลงคิดเป็นร้อยละ 50.61 และกิจกรรมการแจ้งเตือนที่ 3 นั้นลดลงคิดเป็นร้อยละ 88.33 จะระยะเวลาเฉลี่ยรวมในการทำงานที่ 12,536:58 นาที ลดลงอยู่ที่ 1,462:57 นาที และในการวัดผลประเมินประจำเดือนธันวาคม 2565 พบได้ว่าสัดส่วนคะแนนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยกิจกรรมการแจ้งเตือนที่ 1 สัดส่วนคะแนนในเดือนธันวาคม 2565 อยู่ที่ 86.09% และกิจกรรมการแจ้งเตือนที่ 3 อยู่ที่ 90.54%
