การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันและการรับมือการกลั่นแกล้งภายในเกมออนไลน์แนวต่อสู้:กรณีศึกษาเกม VALORANT เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับปัญหาการกลั่นแกล้งที่เกิดขึ้นในพื้นที่ของเกมออนไลน์ แสวงหาสาเหตุของการกลั่นแกล้ง และวิธีการป้องกันและการรับมือการกลั่นแกล้งภายในเกมออนไลน์ เพื่อนำมาเผื่อแพร่และให้ความรู้กับผู้ที่มีความสนใจที่จะเข้าสู่โลกของสังคมเกมออนไลน์รับทราบถึงสาเหตุ รูปแบบ และวิธีการรับมือการกลั่นแกล้งที่สามารถเกิดขึ้นได้ในสังคมเกมออนไลน์ การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกรูปแบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 12 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าสาเหตุของการกลั่นแกล้งภายในเกมออนไลน์แนวต่อสู้มีอยู่ 3 ปัจจัยหลักคือ 1) ปัจจัยด้านทักษะผู้เล่น 2) ปัจจัยเรื่องเพศของผู้เล่น 3) ปัจจัยเกี่ยวกับตัวผู้แกล้ง โดยรูปแบบของการกลั่นแกล้งที่เกิดขึ้นภายในเกมออนไลน์จะเป็นรูปแบบของ 1) การใช้ Text Chat ที่เป็นการพิมพ์ข้อความเพื่อสื่อสาร 2) การใช้ Voice Chat ที่เป็นการใช้ระบบของเกมในการสื่อสารระหว่างผู้เล่นทางเสียง 3) การใช้ระบบการเล่นภายในเกมเพื่อขัดขวางหรือรบกวนการเล่นของผู้เล่น ในส่วนของการรับมือการกลั่นแกล้งภายในเกมออนไลน์จะประกอบไปด้วยการรับมือโดย 1) การประณีประณอมกับการกลั่นแกล้ง 2) การปิดช่องทางการสื่อสาร และ 3) การชักชวนเพื่อนหรือคนรู้จักมาร่วมเล่นเกมออนไลน์

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาองค์ประกอบต่างๆ ที่ทำให้เกิดการการประกอบสร้างอัตลักษณ์ตัวตนจนลิขสิทธิ์กลายมาเป็นสิทธิผูกขาดจนสามารถนำเอามาตรการทางอาญามาปรับใช้กับผู้ละเมิดสิทธิผูกขาดนี้ได้อย่างกลมกลืน ตลอดจนศึกษาองค์ความรู้ด้านอื่นๆ ที่อาจนำมาใช้เพื่อสร้างดุลยภาพในการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์และลดความเป็นอาชญากรรมจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์ในสังคมไทยลง โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพจากการวิจัยเอกสาร (Documentary Research) การศึกษาและวิเคราะห์วาทกรรม (Discourse Studies and Discourse Analysis) โดยเปรียบเทียบกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์จากกรณีศึกษา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความเป็นอาชญากรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์เป็นผลมาจากแนวคิดสิทธิผูกขาดแห่งลิขสิทธิ์ของประเทศตะวันตกที่ไหลหลากเข้าสู่สังคมไทยเพื่อใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการแสวงหาประโยชน์ทางเศรษฐกิจในยุคทุนนิยมและบริโภคนิยม สังคมไทยได้ยอมรับนับให้ลิขสิทธิ์ซึ่งเกิดจากภูมิปัญญาของมนุษย์มีค่าเหนือกว่าทรัพย์สินที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาตินำไปสู่การประกอบสร้างวาทกรรมความเป็นอัตลักษณ์ตัวตนและความสำคัญให้เกิดขึ้น การกระทำใดๆ อันเป็นการล่วงละเมิดสิทธิผูกขาดนี้เป็นการกระทำที่สังคมไม่อาจยอมรับได้ นำไปสู่การนำมาตรการทางอาญามาปรับใช้กับผู้ล่วงละเมิดจนเกิดความเป็นอาชญากรรมอย่างล้นหลามขึ้นในสังคมไทย การเกิดวาทกรรมนี้อาศัยบริบท ปรากฏการณ์ต่างๆ ในสังคมโลกและในสังคมไทย กอปรกับการประกอบสร้างจากมนุษย์โดยตรง ด้วยการใช้มาตรการทางอาญาสร้างความรุนแรง การสร้างความเป็นอื่น การปิดฉลากตีตรา การทำลายผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกิดจากละเมิด การสร้างความชอบธรรมจากเหตุผลกระตุ้นการสร้างสรรค์และความเจริญทางเศรษฐกิจ ส่วนการกำหนดสร้างนิยามความหมายใหม่ซึ่งเป็นผลจากการแสดงปฏิกริยาตอบโต้ แข็งขืนของผู้ยึดถือวาทกรรมรองนำไปสู่กระบวนการรื้อสร้างใหม่ เพื่อตีแผ่ ขุดคุ้ยเอาสารัตถะองค์ความรู้ ความจริงที่แฝงฝัง ลืมเลือนอยู่ในสังคมไทยในด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม เทคโนโลยีการสื่อสารและกติกาสากลออกมาให้ปรากฏ เพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการช่วยสร้างความสอดคล้องกับสังคมไทย สร้างความสมดุลและช่วยลดความเป็นอาชญากรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์ในสังคมไทย

Identity politics are fraught. High school is a prime location where such politics play out and interface with state-dictated norms and values about acceptable social behavior. This article examines identity politics during the Trump era in two far Northern California high schools to better understand the impact on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students. I argue that while the Trump effect allowed hostility towards BIPOC people to be expressed more openly in general, schools can also be sites of resistance to culturecide—the killing of culture—that diminishes the role of minority ontologies and epistemologies in the formation of young …

Preferences For Paid Paternity Leave Availability, Lengths Of Leave Offerings, And Government Funding Of Paternity Leaves In The United States, Chris Knoester, Qi Li

This study analyzes 2012 General Social Survey data (N = 1,089) about preferences for paid paternity leave availability, lengths of leave offerings, and government funding of leaves. It highlights gender and gendered parenting role attitudes as predictors of leave preferences. Descriptive results revealed sizable (i.e., 53 percent) support for leave availability and moderate (i.e., 33 percent) support for some government funding; still, only modest (i.e., five weeks) lengths of leave offerings were desired. Regression results indicated that women were typically more likely than men to support more generous leave offerings. Historically, much of the research pertaining to transgender and gender diverse (trans) health and wellbeing has been conducted in ways that are reductive, pathologizing and exploitative. Trans activists and scholars express concerns about how such research contributes to pervasive negative perceptions, stigma, and cisgenderism, reinforcing stereotypical, binary ideas of trans people as both damaged and dangerous, vulnerable and heroic. Ongoing negative media attention and harmful policy decisions rooted in these views demonstrate the importance of offering alternatives to these reductive, deficit-based narratives associated with trans people. This study critically examined how whiteness and anti-Blackness structure Canadian school social workers’ understanding and responses to students’ expressions of trauma in K-12 schools. Very few studies have previously explored the damage that increasingly popular trauma-engaged school programs may be doing, particularly to Black students. Therefore, this study addressed the role that school social workers play in reproducing harm for racialized, and especially Black, students when implementing trauma-engaged practices.

Participating in queer sports groups, rainbow choirs, trans virtual discussion groups and other Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and other sexually and gender diverse (2SLGBTQ+) leisure activities can offer participants safety from societal heterosexism and cisgenderism and opportunities for community connection and peer support, as well as foster their overall wellbeing. Yet, transgender/gender nonconforming (TGNC), racialized, and/or disabled individuals, and those with other diverse identities are often marginalized in these spaces. Healthcare plays a crucial role in the health and quality of life of transgender (herein trans) people. The experiences people have when accessing healthcare, can have significant effects on future interactions with the healthcare system as well as individual health outcomes. The purpose of this study was to gather insights into trans peoples’ positive healthcare experiences and health outcomes through the lens of empowerment. Fifteen interviews with trans men and trans women were drawn from a larger study of trans peoples’ experiences of discrimination. Thematic analysis was undertaken to identify key themes in the data. The current academic discourse examining human trafficking is lacking in focus on survivors with a disability. The increased likelihood of abuse experienced by people with a disability is well documented in the research literature, and a small body of research indicates heightened sex trafficking victimization of minor girls with a disability. Yet, very little research specifically examines sex and/or labor trafficking of people with a disability, and no systematic research analyzes prosecuted cases of trafficking with disability as the focal point of analysis. This article focuses on two related areas of concern with regard to sex education and implications for children and youth in Germany. The first one is the history of the currently dominant neo-emancipatory sexual education and its implications for today. This direction of sex education is highly influenced by theories of Helmut Kentler who with the help of the German city of Berlin youth protection services department sent homeless and troubled boys to known pedophiles for care. While researchers have attempted to estimate the prevalence of and identify risk factors for sexual assault, less is understood about the relationship among populations at high risk for sexual assault and their perceptions of survivors’ services organizations and justice. The purpose of this investigation is to contribute to existing research through exploratory qualitative analyses of 43 undergraduate sorority women’s perceptions of survivors’ services and justice on a large, urban campus in the Pacific Northwest in the United States. This paper explores the rise and impact of police officers in schools, frequently referred to as School Resource Officers or SROs. In addition to attempting to delegitimize the common explanation that school shootings necessitate SROs and their ongoing presence, the paper goes on to outline two under-researched drivers of SROs. These are the immense underfunding of public K-12 schools which forces a search for additional sources of revenue alongside an ongoing effort to suppress student movements and control students of color. This Toolkit was developed following a series of training workshops on Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) concepts and methods with Oxfam Cambodia’s Inclusion Project 2 (IP2) partners from Lao, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. The training provided targeted capacity support and technical assistance to the IP2 partners to develop gender-responsive advocacy activities on water governance in the Mekong region.

This Toolkit was developed to provide guidance to IP2 partners on how to use FPAR methods in their ongoing activities and advocacy. However, FPAR is a process and is not issue-specific. As such, the Toolkit can also be used by communities, …

A mentoring relationship typically doesn’t operate in isolation. Even youth who want or need additional support from a mentor are bound to have many other important people in their lives, such as parents and other caregivers, siblings, teachers, and peers. Consequently, a mentor already may have or may need to establish relationships with other people in the mentee’s network of support. Because these other individuals, and a mentor’s interactions with them, have the potential to enhance or detract from the mentoring experience, they are all important parts of the “mentoring relationship system.”

The water woes of the Mono Basin of the Eastern Sierra region of California did not begin when Los Angeles' Department of Water and Power began to purchase water rights there in the early twentieth century. Robert Marks argues persuasively that James B. Clover's water schemes predated, and in a sense, opened the way for Los Angeles later to tap Sierran snowmelt and funnel it down to Southern California.
